Document numbers are missing

Hi All,
The user has posted a document and the system has given the document number.
But when we are tyring to display this document in FB03 the system is showing the error message as the document is not in the database.
We have checked in the BKPF and BSEG tables. There also we did not find this document number.
Could you please explain me what will be the reason for this?

Sometime back we got this similar kind of issue: I don't know the details of your entry.
When i posted an FI invoice in Japanees currency with 9 digits, we got a message that document has been posted with xxxxx no, in company code xyz.
But when i tried to display the document through FB03, we got a message that, this documnet has been archived or not posted.
This problem was rectified by applying a an OSS Note.

Regarding the pattern, I would say it is always unpredictable.
Although the buffer is provided as 50 & system is supposed to pick the same, my exprience is that it is not fixed specially in case of inspection lot.
We do have same buffer but the lot number creation is uneven. This will be for initial few lots & it will be stabilised eventually.
This is not the thing to worry but still it concerns you a lot then you can raise the ticket to SAP with priority as high. The buffer making zero at this time won't be of much help as the numbers are already created.

Please note that this is on account of Number Range Buffering in SAP. You can check for itsu2019 settings in T.Code: SNRO for Object: RP_REINR.
This is an SAP standard functionality and, there is no need to touch these settings. You can refer the below link:

Trip numbers are missing from Ranges

We have define trip number ranges Personnel Area wise starting form 000000 to 999999, During trip creation, some trip numbers are missing in production system..
for example : trip number 25 to 30 is not available , 21,22,23 24 and then 31,32,33...

Invoice numbers are missing

Hello friends while creating invoice the numbers are missing, for example we assign number range between 1 to 100 for a perticular invoice, once the invoice is created the system should take invoice number between 1 to 100 in a sequential manner , if the previous invoice number is suppose 55 the next invoice numbers should be 56,57,58... but my problem is after 55 it is taking as like 63, what could be the reason for this, can any one of you help me

Start Transaction SNRO and enter the affected object.
- Choose the pushbutton 'Change'.
- Deactivate buffering: Choose 'Edit' -> 'Set Up Buffering' -> 'No Buffering'.
- If you only want to change the buffer size, enter the corresponding value in the field 'No. of numbers in buffer'.
- Save the changes.
Please note that this change is a modification. The modification is overwritten as soon as the affected number range object is redelivered - in other words, you must check the change manually each time you import a release.
Object for Customer Number Ranges is xxx

Object: xxx
No. of numbers in buffer: maintain it as '0'

My Adobe - all my previously registered product serial numbers are missing!

I logged in to my adobe today using the same account I have used for years.
I found that all my registered product serial numbers are missing.
On previous log ins this list correctly showed all my adobe purchases.
There must be about a decade's worth of purchased serial number now
missing from this list.
I had logged in to check my cs5.5 serial number in order to purchase a
creative cloud subscription.
However, finding all my details missing has put me off buying more products.
Is the wiping of the data a temporary database problem at your end?
or will this permanently affect my ability to upgrade products and services?

Hello Experts,
I am using 8.8 PL15 I have implement Approval Procedure on every Return Document.After approval when I tried to add document using Logistic user it creates following error message.
Cannot add or update this document; rows are missing [Return - Freight - Freight Code][line: 0] [Message 131-198]
There is no any additional freight on Return & Delivery.There is no freight on base document also.
When i add same document through manager then it add successfully to system.

There may be two reason for this...
1. Freight accounts are not mapped . Doesn't matter you are using or not these in document .
2. Check items are not in negative ?

When I convert a Word doc to PDF, some of the page numbers are missing.

I'm using Word 2003 and Acrobat Pro 7.0. When I print out the Word doc all the page numbers are there, but when I concert to PDF most of them are missing. Any suggestions?

How are you converting? What are the job settings for the PDF conversion? What if you print to the Adobe PDF printer?

Posted Documnet numbers are missing

We have posted some documents and able to identified the document numbers at the time of positng. But after some time if we try to view the posted documents, we can see the message document is not available.
ex: document no>1000000021 to 1000000030 has been posted, but when we try to view those documents system throws a message saying that not available in the database. we also obseved that document posted after 1000000030 we were able to see in the system.
If you goto fbl3n transaction i can see that documents from 1000000001 to 1000000020 .......... 1000000030,1000000031 ...
Please let me know if you need any further information to provide solution to this issue.

Oficial document numbers are not consecutive

Localization for Argentina
We bill a sales order and it determines the Argentina Oficial document number automatically .(ej: 00000021 )., and then passes that info to the accounting interfase with the same document number.(ej: 00000021 ).
If a problem arises, and the logistics billing document does not pass over to accounting, the generated official document number still remains as used.
Then, next sales order billing will use following number 00000022 for both, logistic and accounting documents.
As per Logistics view, you have a correct sequence 00000020, 0021, 0022, etc.
As per accounting view you have only documents 00000020 and 00000022.
And that is not allowed by Argentinian laws.
Did anyone have faced the same problem?
How can I do to avoid an official number usage by a logistics document not transferred to accounting?

I have not faced issue in the particular area but in some customised development where we need the numbers to be in sequence....The solution surely depends on the usage of the logistics usage of the particular number ..I would suggest to assign a temporary number during the logistics process while the final number is assigned on passing the document to accounting. It could be further simplified by using different starting numbers...example in logicstics you can use the number 90000021 while in accounting the corresponding number is 00000021. Surely you can replace the 9 with 0 on passing the document to accounts (if required)
OR
Another way is to have a Ztable to store the corresponding numbers in logicstics and accounts...so you can surely maintain the sequence.

Editing text in PDFs - only the numbers are missing the font

When editing text in a PDF (created in InDesign), I can edit all the text EXCEPT for any numbers. When I try to input a number, I get the message "The original font XXXX is not available or can't be used in editing. Acrobat is using the font Arial in its place". It then places other characters in its place - not sure what they are but they're not numbers. Anyone have any idea what is causing this?

Apparently, the HINDI DIGITS checkbox under Preferences\Languages is by default checked. This ridiculous default resulted in Arabic numbers when editing the PDF in Acrobat. Editing text was fine, but whenever I would type in a number, it would appear as Arabic characters.
