Document Parking Workflow approval process in LIV

Hi all,
Can please someone let me know what is the role of a functional consultant in getting the workflow approval process setup  for the Document parking in LIV process
Also, can please send any links are documentation...

  • Error in FI Document Parking Workflow

    Hi Workflow Experts,
                                   I have a FI document parking Workflow scenario which is 2 level release that is if the amount is upto 100000 first person will release if it's more than that the CEO that is the second user has to release.
    For this i have activated the main workflow WS10000051 and for two level release i have activated the sub workflows WS10000052 for first level release and WS10000053 for secondlevel release.
    I have also done the Release strategy configuration in SPRO such as
    1) Workflow Variance
    2) company Code
    3) Approval Group
    4) Approval path
    5) Release group
    6) Release approvers
    in the following SPRO steps
    1) Create Workflow Variant for Parking Document
    2) Define Entry Screens for Parking Document
    3) Assign Compaany Code to a Workflow variant for Parking Documents
    4) Define Release Approval Groups for Parking Documents
    5) Define Release Approval Path for Parking Doc
    6) Assign Release Approval Path for Parking Documents
    7) Assign Release Approval Procedure for Parking Doc
    8) Define Users with Release Authorization for Parking Document. ( I have assigned the Position of CEO created in HR to this)
    Now when the document is parked it throws the error
    Error in workflow Customizing for document parking (tranasction OBWE) and it stops in the step Determining Sub Workflow.
    Has anyone come across this issue.Please guide me in resolving in this issue, i am not able to identify whether this error is happening in workflow or due to some missed entries in SPRO settings of FI.

    Are there any special settings for SUBWORKFLOWS
    There is no Special Setting for Sub Workflow.
    Only error which i get in my inbox is
    Please repair the suspended workflow
    1) Once you get the Error, open a new session goto T.code SU53 and see any authorization issue
        If Yes, send the screen shot to Basis Team to get the authorization.
    2) If Authorization is fine, Check the binding for that Workitem Regenerate and Test it . Also Check the Workflow log and see  which step error is showing, then see the Step history comments.   .

  • How to use a pwa group in CREATE A TASK PROCESS in SPD 2013 for project server workflow approval process

    I am working on a Project Server 2013 workflow. I am creating this using Sharepoint Designer 2013. In this workflow I am using approval process at one stage. I have created a security group SalesManagers in PWA. I want to use this group for workflow approval
    process. I want all users of this group get approval tasks. 
    For this I used START A TASK PROCESS activity in the SP Designer. I clicked on
    this user and created task process. But here I could not find SalesManager group which I created in PWA. I was only able to find the users. I can also see
    Administrators for PWA . But couldnot find SalesManager or any other security group created in pwa.
    Can anyone suggest how I can get the security group created in pwa.

    I believe SPD only recognizes the SharePoint Groups and not the project server security groups.
    The Administrators for PWA, and few other groups like Project Managers for PWA etc., are synced SharePoint Groups with the security groups, which is why they show up in SPD.
    You could create a SharePoint Group for the Sales Managers group and use that in SPD.

  • Document Parking Workflow Responsible Agent for Two level release

    Respected Members,
    I have done all the configuration for document parking workflow.
    i had said if the amount is greater than one lakh it should go two-level amount release.
    My organisation hierarchy includes two positions,
    SUB_HEAD with user xyz
    HEAD with user ABC.
    i have assigned the position HEAD with two level release workflow in spro.
    When i am creating a parking document above one lakh, the work items are generating and it is coming
    in the inbox for the both users ie xyz and abc.
    MY requirement is that when xyz user execute the work item then only it should go to abc user inbox.
    it should not go to abc inbox as soon as document is created.
    Please give me the answer as soon as possible,

  • Document park workflow

    Hi
    Iu2019m working on FI document park workflow. We are having a custom workflow which gets triggered when ever a document is parked. The workflow is working fine and is correctly finding the agents. However there is a new change request that client does not want workflow to determine agent, instead client want to select approvers from a list and workfitem should go to that person. How can I achieve this(provideing list of approvers to user). is there a user exit or something available?

    Hi john,
    You can use a method  as suggested below or else  use a form  to view  a list of approvers . since the values of form are stored in the container you can use the agent in the next step to  send your work item.

    You do not have workflows in cFolders.
    Suggest to use status networks in cFolders instead.

  • Parked Invoice approval process - AP Workflow

    Hi all,
    Can please some one answer the following questions.
    1. Can please some one provide me any links or documentation that is specific to Parked document(amount release) workflow approval scenario
    i.e when an invoice is > some specific amount then it should get parked and need to get approval for the posting of the document.
    2. For this scenario , should we have to park the document , then workflow get's triggered or as the amount is greater than the limit,does the document get's parked automatically when you try to save it and tirggers the workflow automatically?

    the link that IA gave you will give you full details.
    To add to that, when you create the GL document, the document should be COMPLETE for posting and so there is a button "SAVE AS COMPLETED" and this will park the document as well and checks the completeness of the document. And you can set up the Rel. Amt > which you want the approval for releasing..which is the flag "Release Necessary".
    And, there is a std wflow template WS00400032 for this which first checks the completeness of the document before proceeding with approval.
    And, for documents below the threshold that you specify in the config. settings specified in the link IA gave you, i don't think there is any std. functionality that posts the document automatically after it is parked and complete.
    you have to copy WS00400032 and customize, may be adding your own single step task to post the document in the background.
    Same requirement that we developed is working fine.
    Let us know if any more details are needed.

    Chech the WS51800008 in SWDD this workflow trigger in APPROVALREQUESTED event of ERC_REQUI business object,  also check WS16900009 This workflow template is used when processing requisition requests within the MSS E-Recruiting integrated solution. In the standard
    delivery, it is associated with the Simple Requisition Request (SRQ1) scenario. This workflow is started when a user (usually the manager) submits the requisition request.
    Also Check Business object ERC_OBJECT in tcode SWO1and use where used list.

  • Document Parking Workflow

    Hi guys,
    We want to use the workflow function within document parking to invovle release authorisation before the document can be posted. I have done the configuration, and assigned an organisation unit postion 'XYZ' as the authorised object to release parked document.
    I have also assigned some users to the position used above. I then created a parked document, but there was nothing in the workflow inbox of any of the users assigned to the release object mentioned above in the Business Workplace area, hence, the parked document cannot be released or posted.
    Can someone help if I missed something out?

  • Limiting workflow approval process

    Hello,
    There's a workflow process for the talent management module HR_APPRAISAL_DETAILS_JSP_PRC. The approval process is going up many levels to the top person in the organization (using the supervisor hierarchy), but I want to limit this to only one step above the appraisees supervisor.
    Say I am being appraised, my supervisor will do the appraiser and his own supervisor will approve.
    Is there anyway to limit approval levels. I've looked at Approvals Management but not really sure what to make of it to be honest.

    I've done a few things just to update.
    I create a new condition, the condition type is "Ordinary", the item class is "Header" and the condition is WORKFLOW_PROCESS_NAME in (HR_APPRAISAL_DETAILS_JSP_PRC)
    Also, created a new rule:
    The rule type is list creation, the item class is Header and the category is Approver.
    This rule includes the condition I created above.
    Also, the action I have defined for this rule is:
    Require approvals up to the first superior, at most.
    Should this solve my problem?
    Also of note is that the workflow process for HR_APPRAISAL_DETAILS_JSP_PRC contains sub processes, does that fact have any effect?

    I have a question regarding this thread.
    In case we are using the webservice BWSP to send every user a hyperlink and I have passed the hyperlink  in the mail step in workflow , so that on clicking on it they will be able to view their business workplace.
    1.Where should we do the setting for the logon credentials that is on clicking the link every user is asked for their user id's and password and then the business workplace opens up.
    2. Will he be able to execute the workitems or any other setting is also require.
    Also,I was going through your post on using web service to send a link to outlook where in you mentioned a piece of code to generate the hyperlink dynamically since details of host and port may change.
    Now how should the above setting for user credentials be maintained in that code.
    Your comments would be valuable on this.

  • Customizing Workflow approval process

    Hi,
    I have a requirement to customize the 'Change Pay' workflow process in item_type 'HRSSA' to route it through custom approvers derived through PL/SQL code. Please let me know as to where to start from and where do I place my custom function whcih derives the approvers in the workflow process.
    If I remove the process name from the AME condition, it doesn't go for any approval as I can see in the Status diagram. The 'IsFinalApprover' node in 'Notification Process for Approvers and Notifiers' returns Y and the process ends.

    Thanks for the reply.
    But the requirement is quite complex to be achieved through AME. For ex: the approval notification should timeout conditionally based on the recipient of the notification which cannot be achieved through AME.
