Document Printing - Delivery Note and Packaging

Hi Experts,
When I print my Delivery Notes through Document Printing my Packaging Document prints off automatically. Please can you tell me if it's possible to switch this off so when I print my Delivery Notes through Document Printing only my Delivery Note prints off without the Packaging Note also printing.

The options I can see on my Document Printing are:
Document Type - I've selected 'Deliveries'
Series - I'll selected 'All'
When Batch/serial No Exist, Print - no matter what I select here I always get the Packaging Note printed.
Is there anyway to stop the Packaging Note being printed when printing the Delivery Note through Document Printing?

Delivery Notes and CofAs we are having issues.

Hi , one of our users has the following problem:

I have recently had a printer put on the network that is compatible with SAP. When we generate CofAs or Delivery Notes from SAP, the printout font is now in courier and the letters/numbers are overlapping in some sections.
We need to have this fixed so the CofAs/DNs are legible.
Also, the DNs should be printing two-sided. They are not now. The printer is capable of printing two-sided.

I printed out a Quality Notification and it prints fine. Only the Delivery Notes and CofAs we are having issues.
what could be the problem?

          I tried this option, but did not help. We have two weblogic servers on different
          machines. One works fine in downloading pdf file over https, but not the other.
          The error we are getting after selecting it to save it to a file:
          IE cannot download xx.pdf from www.xxx.com
          From the link, when we say "save target as", we get different error as:
          This file could not be written to cache.
          Someone suggested to pass "pragma: public" or "pragama: no-cache" in the header.
          But we are just simply serving it as a file, neither from servlet nor from jsp.
          So I suspect it something to do with our weblogic proxy or security configuration.
          Any ideas/help is much appreciated.

Printing delivery notes upon picking confirmation

We wish to only print delivery notes once picking is confirmed and goods ready to go. We can achieve this in VL02n via amendment to routine 35 in V/27 however generation of output does not appear to apply when picking is confirmed via transaction VL06C rather than in the delivery itself. Any suggestions as to how to generate reliable printing of delivery notes upon confirmation that picking is complete?

In the definition of output scheme, set a new conditional subroutine (define it with VOFM) as 035 (for instance 935), as this coding:
form kobev_935.
* Workarea KOMKBV2 is available
if komkbv2-kostk = 'C'.
sy-subrc = 0.
else.
sy-subrc = 4.
endif.
endform.
form kobed_935.
endform.
Check before with debugging that KOMKBV2-KOSTK has the desired value. After, define the output with VV21 and option inmediatly.

Issue with printing Delivery note

Hello SAP Gurus,
What is the tcode for display and print delivery note? And my issue is delivery note is printing out item with zero quantity. We have this problem with no Batch items as well.
Could some one please help me on this?

Hi Sharama,
Create through vl01n . Go to vlo2n and see th out out . If any fields are missing just debug why it is not picking . Ask your abap people they can do it easily.

Dump while trying to print Delivery note

Hello all,
When I trying to print delivery note containing serial numbers I am getting a dump due to the following reason.
The reason for the exception is:
The system tried to access field "SERIAL_PRINT" with type "u" and length
132 in the current program "SAPLIPW0" using offset 127 and length 6.
Partial field access is not allowed with offset and length
specifications that are
larger than actual field length.
The programs are
Program                                 SAPLIPW0
Include                                 LIPW0F50
Row                                     453
Module type                             (FORM)

can anyone help me out on this?

The application auto-saves your input when you close the document. If you left the document, as you state, the notes/comments should have been saved and should have been visible the next time you opened the document with the Mobile Reader (note that if you are opening the document with another app such as Apple's built in PDF Viewer, things like notes/comments may not be visible). Also note that if you are doing an Open In... from another app (like Dropbox), the version of the document in Dropbox does not update; only the version of the document in the Mobile Reader is updated.

Change Picking data, then call Delivery Note and Invoice in the background

I have designed a GUI where the picking data (from table LIPS) is changed. Now my SD consultant wants the program, when a SAVE or CONTINUE button is clicked, to do the Delivery Note and Invoice in the background.
To quote:
Your progrm must change the values in the delivery in txn VL02n, when the delivery is saved it updates LIKP and LIPS amongst othr tables. When the invoice / billing doc is created it is done with ref to the delivery. Billing doc created using txn VF01, the main tables of the billing doc are VBRK (header) and VBRP (item). And for completion sake, tables VBAK and VBAP are the sales order tables!
In my PAI module, how do I do the calling of these two functions?
The consultant suggested I use a BDC. Why can't I use Call Transaction.... ? What is the best way to do this?
At the moment, my SAVE button updates an internal table of LIPS, and for test purposes it exits to List Processing to test if the amounts changed correctly.

I have performed a test. When I check "Goods Issue delivery" indeed it has posting date in the past.
Now for the invoice:
I set
"Billing date"
"Serv. rendered" date
and "Prining date" in the past.
Would it be enough to post everything in the last month ?

Printing delivery note output to multiple printers...

Hai team, we have a custom delivery note output which is called commercial invoice. This output is defined thru transactions VV21 & VP01shp. The output device is defaulted within these transactions. However, there's a request to send the printing immediately to multiple printers. Does anyone know how we can set so that the output gets printed immediately to multiple printers since the configs mentioned above only allow us 1 entry in the output device field?

when you are maintaining the output master, maintain the same document type for different partner functions and for each partner function, you can give a different printer in the communication screen. By this , you can trigger the print out in multiple printers for any document.

Delivery notes and serial numbers

I have a simple SQL question.
How do I get the serial numbers in "plain SQL"?
The SDK "Help Center" shows that I can get the delivey notes from the ODLN table and then dig into the DLN1 rows and get the list of items. However, serial numbers are within the OSRI table (OSRI.IntrSerial).
How can I "bridge" DLN1 with OSRI? Or, how do I get all serial numbers related to an item of a delivery note in "simple SQL selects"?

You have to link to table SRI1 where saves the transactions you made with transactional documents where includes items with serial numbers. The query could be as follows:
SELECT ODLN.DOCDATE, ODLN.DOCNUM, OSRI.SUPPSERIAL FROM OSRI
JOIN SRI1 ON (SRI1.SYSSERIAL = OSRI.SYSSERIAL)
JOIN ODLN ON (ODLN.DOCENTRY = SRI1.BASEENTRY)
JOIN DLN1 ON (DLN1.ITEMCODE = OSRI.ITEMCODE)
WHERE ODLN.DOCENTRY = 5
ORDER BY ODLN.DOCDATE DESC
I don´t know by the moment if via SDK you can read this information.

Print delivery note with VL01N

Hi,
The delivery note prints only when I post the good issue. But I would like to print it automatically when I use the VL01N
I delete the routine "1" in NACE for my condition type LD00 (If goods issue has been posted for the delivery, then the output
should be created.), but I have no delivery note.
Anybody could help me, please?

In VL01n, before saving, please goto output screen.
(Menu bar -> extrax -> delivery output -> header ->)
In output screen, is the output (print) there (with yellow light)?
If it's not there, please goto check output determination analysing log.
(menu bar -> goto -> determin.analysis)
Double click the output type, and check the log on right side.
What's the log saying?

Printing delivery note via attachment list

Hi all,
when I print a delivery note in VL02N, it is also archived as PDF in our archive system (SAPERION).
My problem is, that a print from archive via attachment list is different (e.g. different borders) from that, which i printed at first.
Is there any chance to get the same output again?

MIRO: Delivery note and Planned Delivery Costs

I'm trying to register planned delivery cost starting from the delivery note selection in MIRO.
The reason is that i usually have many GR of the same PO and i want to register the correct delivery cost only for the material that i have actually received.
How and where could I work to set the correct solution? (price conditions maybe)

select the planeed delivery layout variant and select the po or delivery note for the refrence
i sugget u to mark the gr based iv check box in po and then do the miro so that system will suggest the values for the specific delivery of material in miro

How to print delivery note only to spool

Hi,
Can anyone advise how to send print request from VL02N/Delivery Notes to a printer without actually printing anything ? i.e. print to a spool ? We want to avoid errors in SP01 caused due to spool requests sent to a printer which no longer exists. So we want to retain the spool but not print anything.

Make your form to spool only. do not assign any printer to it.... I mean, no physical printer.

HT4059 Printing electronic notes and highlights in iBooks

I have made electronic notes and highlights from a uni boo (PDF), is it possible to print a copy of the notes I have made and sections I have highlighted? If so, how please? I do not have any air printers.

Just answered my own question:
I also had this question, and spent time puzzling over it. But here's the answer:
Open the relevant iBook
Click the icon that looks like a 3 line bullett list
Click on Notes
Click on the icon in the top right hand side that looks like a page with an up arrow pointing out of it.
Choose Edit Notes
Select the notes or highlights that you want printing (a tick appears in the circular radio button)
Click SHARE
Choose either Mail or Print
Voila
