I've written BDC for changing the Asset Master using Call Transaction Method. After the Call Transaction it it showing me the Success message that 'The Asset has been Changed'.But it is not reflecting in the Database table.When i navigate back from th e screen I'm getting the Express document as 'Update was terminated'.

have you used commit statement after the call transaction statement, or if there is any enhancement for AS02 transaction remove the commit work statement from the enhancement.

Update was terminated on WSM8 " POSTING_ILLEGAL_STATEMENT"

our system is ecc6 with IS -retail activated. support Stack level is 12 and database is oracle , os is windows.
We are getting express document error " Update was terminated " when executing WSM8 . on ST22, we are getting following error
POSTING_ILLEGAL_STATEMENT . We applied note 1053491
which is similar to the issue but it does not solve.

The current ABAP program "SAPLSYDB" had to be terminated because it has
come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
What can you do?
Note down which actions and inputs caused the error.
To process the problem further, contact you SAP system

Using Transaction ST22 for ABAP Dump Analysis, you can look
at and manage termination messages, and you can also
keep them for a long time.
Error analysis
There is probably an error in the program
"SAPLSYDB".
This program is triggered in the update task. There, the
following ABAP/4 statements are not allowed:
- CALL SCREEN
- CALL DIALOG
- CALL TRANSACTION
- SUBMIT
How to correct the error
Probably the only way to eliminate the error is to correct the program.
If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to
find an interim solution in an SAP Note.
If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following
keywords:
"POSTING_ILLEGAL_STATEMENT" " "
"SAPLSYDB" or "LSYDBU27"
"DB_COMMIT"
If you cannot solve the problem yourself and want to send an error
notification to SAP, include the following information:
1. The description of the current problem (short dump)
To save the description, choose "System->List->Save->Local File
(Unconverted)".
2. Corresponding system log
Display the system log by calling transaction SM21.
Restrict the time interval to 10 minutes before and five minutes
after the short dump. Then choose "System->List->Save->Local File
(Unconverted)".
3. If the problem occurs in a problem of your own or a modified SAP
program: The source code of the program
In the editor, choose "Utilities->More
Utilities->Upload/Download->Download".

Update was terminated (T-code: MIGO, Function module: L_LK01_VERARBEITEN)

Hello SAP professionals,
I've got the following error message when I ran T-code MIGO(Goods receipt).
    Express document. "Update was terminated" received from author user-id
After I ran MIGO, the system said "Material document 5000000190 posted", but it wasn't.
I checked out T-code SM13 and found out function module "L_LK01_VERARBEITEN" was the cause of the error.
But I have no idea why the function module didn't work properly.
The error detail says as follows.
    Class: BM
    Number: 018
    "Specify at least 1 unit"
I don't know what this "1 unit" refers to.
I will describe below the number range of FI for Goods receipt.
    Document type: WE(Goods receipt)
    Number range: 5000000000 - 5099999999 (now: 5000000021 so doesn't overlap with material document 5000000190)
I would really appreciate any help.

I am trying to confirm a Transfer order using LT12.
I am able to finish the process successfully.
I also get the message - TO confirmed successfully.
However, the moment, i click the back button, I get the message - Update was terminated

Yes.
there is a third party system called Assist4. But data will move into it only after the TO is confirmed. SO right now we do not have any data in Assist 4. Its stuckup at SAP.
During analysis, it gives the information as the system is dividing by zero
Division by 0 (type P) in program "SAPLXTRK"
What happened?
Error in ABAP application program.
The current ABAP program "SAPLXTRK" had to be terminated because one of the
statements could not be executed.
This is probably due to an error in the ABAP program.
An exception occurred. This exception is dealt with in more detail below
. The exception, which is assigned to the class 'CX_SY_ZERODIVIDE', was neither
caught nor passed along using a RAISING clause, in the procedure
"ADJUST_SAMPLE_NETWR" "(FORM)"
Since the caller of the procedure could not have expected this exception
to occur, the running program was terminated.
The reason for the exception is:
In the current program "SAPLXTRK", an arithmetic operation ('DIVIDE',
'/', 'DIV', or 'MOD') with a type P operand attempted to divide
by 0.
How to correct the error
The exception must either be prevented, caught within the procedure
"ADJUST_SAMPLE_NETWR"
"(FORM)", or declared in the procedure's RAISING clause.
To prevent the exception, note the following:
If the error occurred in one of your own programs or in an SAP program
that you modified, try to correct it yourself.
You may able to find an interim solution to the problem
in the SAP note system. If you have access to the note system yourself,
use the following search criteria:

Express Document "update was terminated" received from author in MIGO

Hi All,
We are getting the below error message at the time of goods receipt at receving plant for STO OBD delivery, when user trying to post the GR, then GR number created and when they try to open the number , then they get this error message.

When we went in to SM13 and saw that everything is fine , there was no message in red.
Erro details showing the s032 update error with Internal session terminated with a runtime error DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR.

SQL error "-413" when accessing table "S032".
What happened?
Error Text of the Database: "SQL0413N Overflow occurred during numeric data type conversion. SQLSTATE=22003 row=1"

This is probably an overflow of a field on the infostructure S032.
Please check this table for this material and plant combination and observe if there is any field with a high value.
As a workaround, you may deactivate the updating of S032 via OMO9 to "no updating" to avoid the dump.

MRKO Error : Express document "update was terminated" received from author

Hi Gurus,
When settling Consignment through MRKO we are getting error 'Express document "update was terminated" received from author xxxx' in ECD system.
At workplace inbox, the error shows "Error Info... XS 007: Address invalid".
Please note that I am not getting any short dump at ST22 for the same error.
My queries are:
1. How can I create a short dump for this error....this will help in analyzing the issue.
2. What are the probable reasons for this error can be.

I have tried SM13 and getting ERROR XS007(Address Invalid).
Diagnosis says:
The address specified is invalid or initial (address value, address type INT).
Procedure:
Enter a correct address that is suitable for address type INT.
The formats are:
1. INT (Internet Mail Address): <name>@<domain> or comment<name>@<domain> or <name>@<domain>(comment)
2. FAX(fax addresses): <country><number>
ETC
Now as already told, I have properly maintained mail-id in "Email" field & "StandardComm.Mtd" field as E-Mail of the Vendor Master.
The mail ID is my official ID and working.
Please advice further.

Earmarked funds - Express document "Update was terminated" error

Hi,
When i create a contract(RECN), a earmarked funds document getting created and it updates the table KBLK with single primary key BELNR.
I see in the Tcode OK60, the number range assinged is '05' - 0200000000 to 0299999999.
KBLK table has entries created from 0200000000 to 0299994311 which were created earlier.
From this financial year, when i am creating a contract, the new BELNR is started again from 0200000000 series, hence it throws an error message "Express document "Update was terminated" since entries are already exist in the KBLK table.
Finally i understand we have to change number range assignment.
Where can i do this? Please help if my understanding is wrong, how can i rectify this issue.

Hi,
U can change the number range for the contract for this fical year and make it start from 0299994312 to 0299999999.
But it seems u have already used most of the numbers, so go for a new number range for both the documents.

I have created a delivery doc(PGI) with ref to sales doc, it gave the
del doc no. while creating billing do with ref to this del doc I am getting
an error " update was terminated". when I cheched Vlo2n it says that the doc does not exist.
Even I have done PGI the stock is not deducted( MMBE).
   Please help me to rectify this error.

Check if number range is maintained for accounting document to be generated at PGI level. You will have to consult an FI consultant for the same.
Also check the document flow & there is high possibility that PGI is not saved, but number range utilized during the transaction.

I am creating a PO with respect to contract in SAP 4.6C system using ME21.PO is getting created successfully.But when I want to display the same in ME23 it giving me a message 'Display document : Update was terminated'.( an express message is getting generated to view in SBWP transaction code ).
I went through some of SDN forums and checked the tcode SM13 to resolve the issue .I found that there is no ABAP dump got generated for the same .
Please help me to resolve the issue ..

I did that, systesm is showing below error :

when click on that ,I got one more window with an option to check ABAP dump,But there is no ABAP dump exists for the same.
I cheked in ST22 also there is no DUMP available for the above issue.

there is two reasons
1) Number range is not specied limit define billing document number range.
path- img sd- billing -define number range and see diffenettly i hope your problam willbe solved.
2) t.code NACE whether you have maintained the condition record or not check other wise please maintain it.

Our functional perople have created an output type and configured to the transaction VA02 transaction.
and Now they ,in VA02 transaction, clicking on the button Clicking on 'Document Header details' button they are chaning the purchase order type in Order data tab .
and in menu they are selecting Extras->output->Edit,now they are taken to Messages screen.
there they click on further data button,and change the Dispatch time 4 Send immediately( When saving the application ).
they come back and save.
In VA02 transaction when they are opening the same document ,I am getting Termination pop saying,
Expre Document "update was terminated" received from author "XYZ user". when I enter in The changes Which I made to Purchase order type are nto saved.
please let me know, what could be reason for getting the error.
Do the functional people need to make any configurations?

When I checked with Functionl people, they say that the output is not getting Created for the Dispatch time 4 Send immediately( When saving the application ). When I select the 3 send with application own transaction,I am not getting the termination popup and even the data is getting saved becouse it does not create output.
