Document Splitting is not displaying in GL view

Hi All,
I have done all the Configuration for Document Splitting.
First question regarding document splitting is that why system is not allowing me to assign the item category 01001 for any GL in ECC 6.0 EHP 5, it is giving the following error.
The (technical) item category 01001 is not permitted
Message no. GLT1170
secondly while posting a vendor invoice it is not showing the document splitting in GL view but in the Expert view it is showing the document splitting. my Question is why it is not showing the Document splitting in GL view while simulating..
i am using only leading ledger, i have not configured any parallel ledger, is this error due to that.
Please guide me as soon as possible.

Some information for you regarding the item cagatory 01001 in relation to NewGL splitting:
This catagory is reserved for line items which are "Zero-Balance Clearing account" line items. These are basically balancing line items in New General Ledger that are posted to balance particular document by the mandatory zero balance fields, ie. Profit Center, Segment, Business Area etc. When splitting is configured these mandatory fields required to be balancing to zero, the system posts line items of type 01001 to the specified Zero-Balance Clearing account automatically.
In SPRO you can see the Zero-Balance Clearing account for your specified Chart of Accounts with the following path:
Financial Accounting (New) > General Ledger Accounting (New) > Business Transactions > Document Splitting
...the select "Define Zero-Balance Clearing account". On the next screen select the line item and double click on the "Accounts" folder. Next you will need to enter your Chart of accounts and then you will see the specified account.
In addition, Zero-balance clearing line items posted in a document have line item number "000" in the NewGL view of the document in transaction FB03.

PreE V8: Clips not displaying in project view

I have a clip in the my timeline/sceneline that is not displaying in Project view. It also does not have the "P" in the bottom corner of the thumbnail in Organizer view. Why isn't the clip considered part of the project?

I have been shooting in XP+ mode and have been for the past year.
I haven't tried using the Premier Elements Get Media function. I usually import both still images from one camera and the video from this camera at the same time into the same Photoshop album and use Organizer. Also there are some training videos and books that tell you to use Organizer.
I tried importing a video file using the Get Media function and was able to use the set in/out points and have them saved correctly.
Then in the project that I am working on I took one of video files that I imported through the Organizer and deleted it from the catalog. Then I imported it using the Get Media function and put it in the album with the other files. Then I used Preview to set in/out points. Those points were saved correctly.
So know I will delete all the remaining video files from the catalog that I haven't yet used in my project and then remote them through Premiere's Get Media.
So it appears that as you thought, I need to use Get Media to import video files. But that is not emphasized in any documentation. I think there should be a warning when importing video files in Organizer saying that if you intend to use Premier Elements to edit them that they should be imported via that product.

Code not displaying in code view

When searching for a particular feature, I may have clicked on something by accident. Now, my site looks and works fine in the browser and in design and live view, but the code is not displaying in code view. See attached image.
Anyone know how to fix this??? Thank you in advance!

Design Window is not displaying the correct view

Hi
For some reason the Design View on my CS3 is not displaying
the correct view.
It used to show how the web page would look but it is simply
showing up the wording and pictures surrounded by dotted black
lines.
I am using a template as a bases for all the pages and all
the pages are showing like this.
My other sites are showing up OK though.
When I Preview in Browser, it all shows up OK.
Can anyone help?

JavaScript does not display in Design view

I am just starting to learn JavaScript so excuse my, maybe stupid, questions.
Why the following code does not display Hello world! in Split view on the "design" side? When I upload the file onto the server and try to view it in the browser everything displays normally.

This is normal, design view is simply a way of either creating your website using the wysiwyg method or if you code the website it is a way of getting an idea what the site will look like static. Design view doesn't run any scripts, which is why in the more recent versions of dreamweaver we have LiveView which does run the scripts and allow you to interact with drop down menus and the like, which you can't do in DesignView.

Forms created in Acrobat Pro XL do not display data when viewed on iPads

I have a simple form that when completed and saved as an Acrobat Pro XL document and then emailed to customers, do not display the field contents of the form when viewed on iPads. So the customers just see a blank form. I have tried to use Optimize for Web and Moblie to solve this, but it appears that many times, since the iPads are so prevalent, that people can;t see the full content of the form that I send. Is there a solution for this?

When your customers opened the PDF form (which was as an email attachment) on iPads, it is highly likely that Apple Mail (not Adobe Reader for iOS) was displaying the preview of the PDF form. Please note that Apple products on iPad/iPhone (e.g. Apple Mail, iBooks, Safari) do not render field contents or annotations (sticky notes, highlight, underline, strikeout, freehand drawing, etc.) in PDF documents.

MS Word 2010 will not display in Layout view

In a nutshell, Word appears to be not so much stuck in "Draft" view but will not show Print Layout view at all. I am writing a manual which includes many embedded images, charts, and the like, so all of the editing has been done thus far in Layout
View. At this point my project is effectively paralyzed; perhaps if I uninstall Word 2010 and return to a version that worked?

Your observation does suggest a formatting problem. Continuing on that idea, working with a copy on the original document of course, you could split the document in halves (via Save As); then see which half shows symptoms of the problem. Split the problem
document again, and again, until you have isolated the problem.
Alternatively, if you want a quicker fix, the following would be worth trying: Delete all section breaks and then copy the content, minus the final paragraph mark (¶), into a new document.
To show/hide nonprinting marks, including paragraph marks, click the ¶ button on the Home tab.

PO document number is not displaying.

I created purchase requistion in Tr code ME51N ,after that ,aganist this PR No we have created PO. But now we are not able to display this PO No in ME53N. whereas i checked table also EKKO,EKPO is not updated. It is only seen in Tr code ME5A aganist PR no , where we found PO document No but we double click on this NO its showing Error purchse document does not exist.In Tr code ME53N display of PR we can see in STATUS tab--- PO created with date but not PO number.

My subscribed calendar does not display in today view in iOS7. Does anyone know how to make it show up?

I have a subscribed calendar on my iPhone. The today view in notification center shows that I have an event at xxxx and tomorrow view says I have x events but the calendar day view does not display any of the events. I need this so I can easily see which rooms my events are in. Dows anyone know how to make the subscribed calendar show up in calendar day view?

Interesting. May have uncovered a bug. It seems that limited duration events will display, but all day events wont on mine. (iPhone 5). Does that compare to what you are seeing (unfortunately, I have nothing in a subscribed calendar until the week end, so difficult to check. I do seem to recall seeing an event from one this past week end on the iPad, however).

TranslateMarkup output not displaying in design view

I'm trying to take a set of php pages which all follow a similar style

This then pulls in various other files (css, js etc) and renders on the website. I'm used to working with an IDE and hand-writing php code. My non-technical colleague would like to edit the html using WYSIWYG and is used to using DW. At the moment the html in the heredoc strings doesn't display in design view. I've been trying to rejig the pages using translators and can convert the above php into html which renders fine in a browser. The html output from the translateMarkup function doesn't display in design view. I think I'm probably fighting a losing battle (for instance I'm not sure how I'm going to make html editable in DW even if I can get it to render), but if anyone could explain why the html won't render I'd be very grateful. My translator is

unless there's any way of rewriting the files before upload and download (ie dynamically rewrite the php pages as html before dreamweaver opens them, then rewrite them back as php before they're uploaded - I'm clutching at straws).
I believe that this should be possible but I'm definitely not a DW extensionologist so I couldn't say for sure. Also, I believe that the tricky part would be the last step -> WYSIWYG edits back to PHP, which may well be impossible.

Files not displaying in list view?

I recently upgraded my MacPro (early 2008 8core) from Snow Leopard (10.6.8) to Lion.
At first i wanted to do a fresh install on my machine but soon realised it wasnt possible to import old accounts from another internal drive so i opted to upgrade the system instead.
After doing so I was faced with an odd problem of files not displaying in my finder windows when switching through internal drives or changing from 'file view' to 'list view' or 'column view' etc...
The attached screenshots were taken in sequence youll also note that the path bar & top window name dont update either.
The relevant drives are in healthy condition with several tests run over them to ensure their healthy(Disk Utility & Drive Genius). I have also run permissions repair, and a utility to empty cahces etc (OnyX). From what i can see its possibly something to do with the Finder not updating or refreshing the window? The issue seems to be isolated to the drives however intermittently the problem exists deeper into the directory on 'TerraTank' Volume.
The finder also crashes semi-frequently and the problem seems to dispaear for a while and revealing the contents of these volumes for a few mins.
I have also checked activity monitor to see if any particular process was going haywire and all seemed relativly normal.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Onyx may be causing problems. Don't use it on a non-backed up system, as cleaning caches may damage them, and make things not work. Make sure your Spotlight indexes all drives you wish to be searchable. Go to Apple menu -> System Preferences -> Spotlight and add each hard drive to the Privacy section, and then remove it again. Then click on the Spotlight menu every half hour to see when it stops saying that it is indexing. It might take a few hours. But once done, it should be fixed.

Page not displaying in outline view.

One of the pages in a site is not displaying in the outline view of CS2. Does this view have,, well different views. The page displays in source, preview, pdf preview & browser preview but nothing is displayed in outline. All other pages display in the outline view. I have closed the file, closed GL & rebooted but still views as blank just a flashing cursor top left. If I go from outline to source the cursor is immediately after </body>. I am thinking that I am viewing after the body and seeing nothing.Thanks

After opening NWDS in Webdynpro explorer. Go to Window-> show view and select outline.
you will get the outline editor where you can desing the layout for the views.

Includes Not Displaying in Design View

I have an html page whose content is kept mostly in include
pages. In the DW8 Design View, these includes are not displaying.
For example, a page that should have a height of 600px only
displays the masthead and footer; it's as if the includes do not
even exist. However, when I test it in the browsers, all is well.
Is there a Preference Setting or plug-in that I am missing?
Any suggestions are welcome.

RootUIElementContainer not displaying in outline view

Hi,
I am using EP 7.0 and NW04s.My problem is, once I am developing the webdynpro application, I created the necessary actions, Go and Back, the structure of my project is currently displayed in the Web Dynpro Explorer even thou the RootUIElementContainer in the Outline view is not displaying. So, I am not able to design the layout for the StartView or Resultview.Can any body give the solution to resolve this problem.

In SSRS, the issue is occurred when the credential of the datasource is configured with “Prompt for credentials”. Please check if you configured the credential with "Stored Credential" of the datasource. You can refer to the following steps:
Click the black arrow of the report, select Security option.
Click Data Sources in the left pane.
1) If it is a "A custom data source”, please check the item "Credentials stored securely in the report server", and type the valid username and password. If the user is a Windows Account, you need to check item "Use as Windows credentials when connecting
to the data source".
2) If it is a "A shared data source", please remember the path, and then open the data source from the Report Manager. Make sure the credential type is "Credentials stored securely in the report server".
