Documentation (HTMLDB 2 Day B14377_01) Page 1-3 on logging into sample app
I want to follow the documentation on creating a tabular form. On page 1-3 you are guided to run the application and log in as "either demo or admin" and to use the workspace name as the password.
I cannot get this to work. Any ideas?
BTW my workspace name has an underscore in it - I wonder if that may have something to do with it...
This can be problem with cookies.

Firefox won't load parts of web pages or let me log into certain websites
I don't quite know how to really explain this, so I'll provide two examples of the problems I'm experiencing:
The first is that, whenever I go onto any of those Wikia sites, Firefox doesn't seem to load anything other than the main page content. By this, I mean that it won't load any "Recently edited/added pages" box or "Recently uploaded images" box on the right hand side of the page, nor will it open the Contents tab to navigate different sections of the main page content itself.
Another problem I'm having is logging in to a website I usually frequent. It uses Facebook, Twitter and/or Google+ to log in, and the site has recently started running on Flash and Silverlight. Up until a few weeks ago, I am unable to log in to this website for the same reason as the example above - it just doesn't seem to load after clicking to log in, yet the rest of the site is fully functional.
In regards to the former example, I did manage to do something with Java that managed to fix it, however when attempting to emulate the solution when it happened again, nothing happened. I'm unsure of what the problem is. Can someone help?You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
*Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
*Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
*Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
*Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
*Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

You can open the Web Console (Firefox/Tools > Web Developer).
Check on the Network tab if any content is blocked and has a file size 0 (zero).

How to print day per page on Palm Desktop?
I have a .dba Palm DateBook file taken off a Palm Treo 650 phone. I would like to print the calendar entries with the entries for one day per page. However the Palm Desktop software appears to only provide for one whole month to be printed on a single page. Does anyone know how I can print the calendar entries for a particular day on a single page?

IPad 1 - safari pulls days old pages when going between pages and sometimes drops out
Does anyone have a problem with Safari whereby, you go from one we page to another and when going back to a previous page, Safari shows a days old page? In addition, Safari will drop out to the 'desktop' at times for apparent reason. Doesn't matter if the we page is a simple page or one with video. This all started with Apple pushing their latest iOS. Apple wants to charge $30 for you to ask about this problem but it's their iOS that pushed on their product. Like I stated, it worked fine before their latest iOS push.
Jesus H Christ this is still driving me up the wall, i can't believe everyone is just accepting this. Isn't there a way to fix this? Can we at least have an option to turn this OFF?? Reloading a page everytime i go back is such a waste of time/bandwidth/my nerves when i am in the middle of a page

it runs this pls sql package begin dbms_scheduler.run_job('PROD_GET_SL_FILES'); end;
After it gets the file and loads them to the database using sql loader then it zipp and email the files, after this process the next thing is to display the page with the message "Success: SL Files Zipped and Emailed"
It does every thing but to dispaly that message , then after some time i get
page not found and the page is "htmldb/wwv_flow.accept "
Other thing i noticed is it sends me an email with zipped files twice, the first one has attachements of the files the second one without attachement
I run oracle apex on oracle 10.2.0.1.
It has been working fine untill last two weeks i am getting

I'm using htmldb/APEX v 1.6. I'm following the Oracle HTMLDB 2 Day Developer Guide chapter 8. In this example, we are uploading files to be stored in the database as BLOB's. Then we are downloading the files.
The example works as advertised until we create the custom table and procedure called download_my_file.
Using the default table and procedure, the file upload and download work correctly.
Using the procedure called download_my_file fails with error:

Execute privileges on procedure download_my_file have been granted to Public and HTMLDB_PUBLIC_USER. Procedure is owned by user HTMLDBPlease.. Could you change your forum handle to something more human, we are a friendly group here and lik to know who we are talking to.. Secondly, WHy are you using such an OLD version oft he product. You would be better off installing 3.2.1 (latest released build) and asking your questions after you do that..
(I am sorry, it's like asking for help in a Windows support forum about issues you are having with Windows 3.1)

I can't log into my iTunes account on my iPhone 5s. I logged out a few days ago to trouble shoot because I was trying to redeem some iTunes cards but when i pressed redeem nothing happened. I then tried to log back in immediately afterwards. I was unable to do so. After clicking "sign in" at the bottom of the apps main page, it brought up another menu where I clicked "Choose existing Apple ID". After pressing this the menu disappeared and nothing happened. I tried this multiple times and received the same result each time. I tried the other available option of creating a new AP ID to log in with and that one worked perfectly fine. I am clueless as to why the log in for me is either not able to load or just completely blocking me from getting back into my iTunes account on my phone. Not only can I not listen to the music I currently have, but I cannot log in to purchase the new music that I wanted to with my unused iTunes gift cards
I have the same problem too and tried alot of things like time zone , restarting or changing DNS of wifi connection to 8.8.8.8 still nothing happens .. !!

When a pop up window comes up it is - search bookmarks and history window! I cannot log into my bank as login button should open new window to log in but I get the search page. I cannot see larger images as again I get the search bookmarks and history page etc. Happens on all options that should open new page. I opened up my pages app and the document i needed opened up automatically, i turned away from my ipad to log onto my computer only to find when i look back at my ipad that ALL my documents have been deleted!! It is very important i get these back as i have an assignment to hand in tomorrow and ALL my revision is on their for my exam in 4 days time. please please please help me get my documents back onto my ipad? I have logged into icloud on my computer and can see the documents but cant work out how to get them back on my ipad???

Yahoo security - Using Yahoo search engine: while logged into Yahoo my entire screen gets taken over by a full page popup add/i've cleared histories & cookies & flash cookies but the problem returns, sometimes right away, sometime on the next log on … what to do … . I’ve heard of this problem being called a form of ‘yahoo mail hijacking’.
Yahoo is better than Google right now. While using Google as a search engine and logged into Yahoo-mail the page elevator (up& down) bar actually freezes, a dead giveaway that something is up. So far nothing I do will stop the page elevator from freezing when I'm using the Google search engine. I either have to use the Yahoo or Bing search engines.
MacPro w/OS X ver 10.7.5 & Norton Internet Security 5 for Mac ver 12.4 (73) / I update Norton security at least 3-times a day. I thing I get the bug when I log onto my Yahoo Email and go through my emails. When problems get constant I Reset Safari then run flush to burn flash cookies. What else can I do?

Quit Safari. If it won't quit in the usual way, select
▹ Force Quit...
from the menu bar, then select Safari from the list and press return.
Relaunch Safari by holding down the shift key and clicking its icon in the Dock. That will stop the bad page from reloading automatically. From the menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove all website data
to get rid of any cookies or other data left by the server. Open your Downloads folder and delete anything you don't recognize.
Also get rid of the useless Norton crapware, after backing up all data.

You posted in the "Using Mac App Store" forum but your profile indicates you are using an iPad so that's what I'll try helping you with.
On the iPad tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
Then restart the iPad. Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button down until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPhone. To turn iPhone back on, press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

I cannot log onto the App Store, the page appears when I call it from the dock or the Apple menu and I can call the log-in box from the menu bar, but on signing in the spinning icon just keeps spinning,(not the beachball). Using 10.6.7 and up-to-date on all software. Any suggestions?
Could be a third party app preventing you from being able to login.

Quit the MAS if it's open.
Open a Finder window. Select your Home folder in the Sidebar on the left then open the Library folder then the Caches folder.
Move the com.apple.appstore and the com.apple.storeagent files from the Caches folder to the Trash
From the same Library folder open the Preferences folder.
Move these files Preferences folder to the Trash: com.apple.appstore.plist and com.apple.storeagent.plist
Same Library folder open the Cookies folder. Move the com.apple.appstore.plist file from the Cookies folder to the Trash.
Relaunch the MAS. -
When I try to open a recent document I get the following message "You need a newer version of Pages to open this document." I have downloaded version Pages version 5.2.2 and the app store confirms this (and won't let me download it again), but my Pages About reports that I am using 4.3
Here is the solution that I received from the chat line.
When you update applications like Pages it usually keeps both versions on the computer. So what most likely happened is it didn’t put the new version on your dock. So to fix this, open a finder window. And go into applications which should be listed on the left. Scroll down and you will see Pages listed in here. And the icon should look different. You can drag that icon down onto your dock.Open that and you then can access your documents

In a fit of year-end house-keeping, I embarked on a renaming campaign of hordes of classical concert recordings: from their original naming convention "ABCddmmyyyy.wav" to the format "ABCyyyymmdd.wav", which I find more helpful for search purposes.
