Documentation of the class CL_WD_ADOBE_SERVICES

Hi Team,
Is there a documentation available on this class in English? Would also appriciate if they are any examples based on it. Tried the where used list but was not very helpful.

Oops. I wonder why this class has been documented (probably due to the CL_WD_* name). Actually, despite of what the prefix suggests this class is not released for public usage. Major (necessary) enhancements have been made to this class starting from SP10 to SP12. Due to its internal nature it's not part of any public package interface as well. So please don't use it.

I don't think there is a documentation on this.
Just download the demos from OTN and look at the source for the fmb's that use those.
(By the way it is good enough to send your question once :-)

Documentation of the HashMap class

Is it me or is the documentation of the HashMap class missing the very important sentence "classes used as keys _must_ implement the equals and hashCode methods".
This sentence is present in the Hashtable documentation.

Well, its described in the Map interface. So maybe
that's why they didn't bother to describe it in the
HashMap class.I have look at the documentation of the Map interface and it does not say anything regarding a hashCode requirement on the keys as far as I can see (do you have an URL to where you found your info?).
I would consider it to be correct to leave out any talk of hashCode in the Map interface since that has nothing to do with that interface.

For those who would have the same problem, here is how I could eventually fix it.
Since the Flex Test Drive is sometimes out of sync with flash builder 4, I recreated a project using other help pages on Adobe site :

Application server type : J2EE

Documentation of the interaction of components in ABAP - applications

Hello,
I am developing on an ERP 6.0 system with ABAP , ABAP-OO, business objects, workflow.
Now there are a lot of different components used, i.e. function modules, classes, business objects, dynpros.
I am looking for a way to document how all these components interact.
Ok, you can use PowerPoint to draw charts or use excel-tables, but these means aren't integrated into SAP.
So it is only a matter of time when the documents will be old and no longer up to date.
How do you make such documentation, is the visual composer a possible tool?
Best would be a tool, that offers the possibility to model the interactions in advance.
Has anyone an idea?

At the SDN day prior to the TechEd 2008 in Berlin I asked the people from SAP in the closing session "Latest and Greatest in ABAP" about round-trip engineering (ABAP class -> UML -> ABAP class).
They are about to integrate UML diagram generation from ABAP classes into NetWeaver (perhaps in 7.20).
For anything else you may have a look at package SEST, e.g.
- report SAPRSEUH (call fm RS_SOURCE_STRUCTURE)
- fm RS_CALL_HIERARCHY
- fm RS_PROGRAM_TABLES

How to set the class path?-

jdk is in:C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_11\bin

An alternative - as stated in reply 2 in your other thread on this topic: http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=5170470 - is not to set the CLASSPATH environment variable at all. Use the -classpath switch instead.
As the documentation linked to in that reply points out: "The class search path (more commonly known by the shorter name, "class path") can be set using either the -classpath option when calling a JDK tool (the preferred method) or by setting the CLASSPATH environment variable. The -classpath option is preferred because you can set it individually for each application without affecting other applications and without other applications modifying its value."
As always, the documentation is worth reading; the available command line options worth using.

The first two gen properly with only one of each class showing up in the class list. Then, starting with the PTCommons files, javadoc lists each class twice in the class list. In the actual generated documentation, there is only one instance of the file.

Im having a problem with the variables.
Part of my original problem might be each pxi was in a different project. and i had two projects each its own IP. Using this method i did not know how use two differnt variables from two differnet pxi' s with the same program.

i tried a simpler way
i modified my project to include both ip addresses.
this way In my window environment my vi calls the variable. i made sure that i right clicked and chose the variables from the correct ip.
what i have is two status indicators and two update buttons.
the status tells me what stage the test is in
the update button is for the user at the end of the test he can update the screen with the results.
currently only my second pxi is updating status and also the update works

The first makes perfect sense, but what is the class-default used for? Cisco says
"This class map appears at the end of all Layer 3/4 policy maps and essentially tells the adaptive security appliance to not perform any actions on all other traffic. You can use the class-default class map if desired, rather than making your own
match any class map. In fact, some features are only available for class-default."
But I see stuff like this:
policy-map MyPolicy
class class-default
inspect tfp MyFTPpolicy
Obviously it is being used here to act on traffic! So I am confused.
I also noticed that when you upgrade from 8.2 to 8.4, all default class-maps are removed from the configuration: you have to re-create everything (strange)

This is Mike. I dont think it is well documented. Basically it is just a class map (that does not appear on the configuration unless an action is specified) that will match all traffic passing through the ASA firewall. Some features like NSEL (Netflow) and Traffic shaping are only allowed to use this kind of class maps because they dont support any other match command.
The one that you currently have (and God I hope its not applied) will look for tftp traffic on every IP packet passing across the ASA.
This specific type of policy you have there can only be applied on the interface (as it is not a layer 7 inspection policy) you can check if it is applied or not by running the show "run service-policy command"

Implementation-specific documentation for the Sun/Oracle Java SE ?

Hi,
Some places in the Java SE API specification call for platform-specific documentation. For example, the specification of the method await of class java.util.concurrent.locks.Condition says:
"Implementation Considerations
The current thread is assumed to hold the lock associated with this Condition when this method is called. It is up to the implementation to determine if this is the case and if not, how to respond. Typically, an exception will be thrown (such as IllegalMonitorStateException) and the implementation must document that fact. "
So, implementation-specific documentation is expected to exist in addition to the API specification documentation. Sure, sentences beginning with "Typically..." suggest that that is what the Sun/Oracle reference implementation does, so the behavior of Sun/Oracle implementation can be guessed in many cases... yet sometimes troubling uncertainty remains.
If implementation-specific documentation for the implementation exists, please let me know.
I apologize if I chose an inappropriate forum for this question, but there seems to be no forum for discussing documentation arrangements.

If you want to look at the implementation sepcific documentation, the best place to look is the source.
The reason the docuementation is written generically is because they want you to write portable code, rather than rely on the specific implementation detail of the one you are using.
Even if you don't intend to use another vendor, you might want to upgrade in the future and Java 7 or 8 many change its implementations provided it meets the specification.

Any good documentation of the Applet Persistence API ?

Does anybody have links to good documentation for the Applet Persistence API? I am talking about the new getStream and setStream methods on the AppletContext class. The official documentation I have been able to find simply sucks:

I'm resurrecting this old thread because I think its pretty funny that in five years this seems to have only gotten more confusing. I don't think anyone is using it (ie. google was still no help) but I'm hoping someone can shed some light.
I got the distinct impression from... something I thought I read but must have hallucinated... that this API is supposed to persist information across browser runs. Even if that's not the case, I'm curious why I can't get the stated functionality to work. I tried the only sample I could find from this page:

The sample is quite good even if it leaves out the most important information about the API, which the previous poster provided (that its not 'real' persistence). Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work with the latest release JRE. Through the debugger I'm seeing that the setStream call is happening as expected but the getStreamKeys routine always returns null. Can someone who has successfully used this enlighten me?

Hi,
does somebody know where i can find a documentation of the java.io classes, because i want to use them.
Btw: I'm new at using java in the database by stored procedures. Further where can i find sample code for file handling with the java.io classes?

I'm trying to debug a Java Stored Procedure, and I heard about the class oracle.aurora.rdbms.OracleDBMSOutputStream, that is equivalent to DBMS_OUT (PL/SQL). This class allows to put messages in the SQL*Plus buffer at runtime of the procedure. Since last week I've been tried to find the API documentation of the package oracle.aurora.rdbms.* unsuccessfully. Somebody already used this class ?
