Documents in the file sharing table in iTunes

I have documents in the File Sharing table (in the apps button) which are coming up when the iPages app is selected. A lot of them I do not wish to sync with my iPad and therefore, I would like to delete them. However, I am not able to. Any ideas?

Click on the file and press the Delete key on your keyboard.

  • IMovie: Saving as movie to iTunes it says your file will be saved in the File Sharing section of iTunes.

Can't find this section anywhere in iTunes

Connect your device to iTunes, select it in the left-hand colum, select the Apps tab, scroll down to File Sharing, select the app in question, in this case iMovie. Your file will be in the panel to the right.

  • I can't seem to find the 'file sharing' section in iTunes.

I know it should be on my devices and then in the 'apps' button at the bottom but it simply isn't there...
    Could anyone help?

Just to be sure, you click on the device in the iTunes sidebar, and then you click on Apps in the bar across the top, right? Not Apps as filed under the device's name in the sidebar?

  • HT201301 Can I add an entire folder to the Documents list? [FILE-SHARING]

I'm trying to work with one of my apps listed under File Sharing on iTunes, and I want this folder full of information to go in it. Without the files being in the folder with a specific name, they don't work, and when I launch the app a new folder is automatically created with that specific name. Anyone know how to drag an entire folder into the Documents of a File Sharing app on iTunes?

    Azul. It's a video player.
I want to copy many videos while keeping them organized inside folders. It seems iTunes doesn't alliow me to create, edit, or copy folders (only delete them) (under the Apps tab, in "File Sharing")

  • Where is the file sharing section located in iTunes 12?

Your project will appear in the File Sharing section of iTunes as: Horror short." But, I can't find the file sharing section anywhere on iTunes 12! I searched in the help section and it gave me this iTunes 12 for Mac: Transfer files between your computer and an app on your device But the last few steps are impossible to do, because the file sharing button does not exist! Please help me! I'm losing my mind. I made a short film and I just want to get it on my MacBook Air.

  • File sharing issue with Itunes

I have a couples of apps from which I can added documents in the file sharing section under the apps tab (in Itunes). After 5 click on any apps in this section, no other files will appear in any of my apps (ex. cloudreaders, Readdledocs, etc..). I'm forced to shut down Itunes and start over.
I updated my Itunes for the last 9.2 (x64, windows version) and I still have the same problem. Please I need advice on hoe to fix this.

Same problem too. I've been scouring the web for days trying to find more info on this. I can't determine if it started when I upgraded to iTunes 10 or iOS 4 ... But I know it was one of those! All the apps I installed that utilize the file sharing feature exhibit the described behavior ... Stanza, Goodreader, PDF Reader, etc. Does anyone know if Apple is aware??
I've been dragging and dropping and that seems to help, so far.

  • Where is the File sharing in Itunes window

Where is the File sharing in Itunes window?

Normally set in iTunes->Preferences->Sharing. However, with the paucity of details, such as computer, OS,  iTunes version, and what you're trying to do, just a WAG.

  • Where is the Garageband file sharing area in iTunes?

I am trying to import some loops that I've made using FunkBox on my iPad which I have then uploaded to my Mac, I now want to import it back into my GarageBand on the iPad. In the Help section of GarageBand it says to add the files to the Garageband file sharing area in iTunes, but I can't find it. Any clues/ I'm flummoxed & just a little frustrated!

You can restore much of the look & feel of the previous version with these shortcuts:
Cmd-B to turn on the menu bar. (Ctrl on Windows)
Cmd-S to turn on the sidebar.
Cmd-/ to tunn on the status bar.
Click the magnifying glass top right and untick Search Entire Library to restore the previous search behaviour.
You can also open the menu bar temporarily by pressing Alt (Windows, not sure of the Mac equivalent).

  • Where has the File Sharing page gone to in iTunes 11?

Where has the File Sharing page gone to in iTunes 11?

My iPad is a first generation so it on IOS 5 and I am running iTunes 11. Shows up for me as I said above. Maybe somebody else knows whay it doesn't work for you.
Probably try all the usual suspects Power on and Off for ipad 9 Not Standby, hold down Power button until a red slider appears. The when off keep it pressed for 2-3 secs and iPad will reboot.
Also switch of iTunes and Computer and the switch back on.
Never know it might help certainly wouldn't hurt

  • Files not appearing in the File Sharing section

    Hi Everyone,
I created a ringtone on the iPhone, using Ringtone Designer Pro. The problem is, when I connect my phone to the computer, the ringtone doesn't appear under the "Ringtones" icon in the file sharing section under my device in iTunes.
This problem is apparently prevalent with any app that supports file sharing in my case - I created a test document in Pages but that didn't show up either. The apps themselves are listed, but not the files created by them.
So far, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes and all other Apple related software, without any improved results.
    iPhone 4 32 GB, iOS 4.3.3;
    iTunes 10.3;
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Connect your device to iTunes, select it in the left-hand colum, select the Apps tab, scroll down to File Sharing, select the app in question, in this case iMovie. Your file will be in the panel to the right.

    Hi Patrick,
It seems I have to enable body manage property to be searchable and increase the maxindexsize to higher value.
I assume that this body field is used to store the content of the document, right?
I am wonder that why the default value of searchable of body manage property is set to False.
    Best Regards,

  • HT201301 i can't find the file sharing section? why is that?

i can't find the file sharing section? why is that? it's not shown on my iTunes. . .

Please explain more clearly what problem you are having.

  • HT201301 Pages does not show up as an app that supports file sharing in my iTunes.  Why??????

I just downloaded Pages & Open Word onto my iPad because I want to be able to load my recipes from my iMac onto my iPad to use in my kitchen.  When I try to use iTunes to transfer the files, neither app shows up as working with file sharing.  What am I doing wrong?  What app can I use to get these files from my desktop to my iPad?

I have Pages and file sharing is file sharing so step by step....
Connect the iPad to your Mac
    Launch iTunes.
Click on your iPad name under the devices heading on the left sidebar of iTunes. If you are using iTunes 11 and don't see the sidebar go to View>Show sidebar.
Click on the Apps Tab at the top of the iTunes window on the right.
Scroll down to File Sharing Apps
Do you see Pages in that list of Apps?
If you do - click on it.
Now drag any of your Pages files from the desktop into the file sharing window on the right.
    Launch Pages on the iPad.
In thumbnail view - Tap the + sign in the the upper left corner
From the popup window select - Copy from iTunes.
From the next window - select the file that you just dragged into the file sharing window.
