Documents or attachments linked with PR to be flourish outside SAP

DMS Experts,
Our company is implementing Ariba Solution, which is having E-Procurement tool, all PR's and PO's generated should be flourished in Ariba tool, along with Documents attched with PR line item. Documents are stored in Different content server and linked with PR in SAP. Now my query is how can I download all those documents attached with different line item of single PR in single bunch in common folder........

Delete attachments linked with a business object

Hi All,
I have added some pdf attachments to a business object using Archivelink. I am making use of FM - ARCHIV_CREATE_TABLE.
This worked. Now we need to either add a retention period for these attachments or archive them or delete them after a certain period of time. I tried some ways till now.. but they havent worked
1. Setting a delete date in my FM ARCHIV_CREATE_TABLE :
CALL FUNCTION 'ARCHIV_CREATE_TABLE'
      EXPORTING
        ar_object                      = <archiveobj>
        DEL_DATE                       = '20100624'
        object_id                      = l_arc_doc
However when I look in OAAD, this delete date doesnt show up!
2. Using standard reports - RSBCS_REORG, RSSO_DELETE_PRIVATE and RSSODFRE. However my attachments are not even getting selected to be deleted.
3. I also tried with FM - archive_object_delete and ARCHIVOBJECT_DELETE. Here I am getting an error that states-
Error during import of physical document from cluster table SOFFCONT1.
Any ideas towards this ? All your answers are appreciated.

Minutes after I wrote up this question, I tweaked a way to delete the PDF using FM -ARCHIVOBJECT_DELETE. The archive doc id to be given here is from the 'Link' table one would have configured in transaction OAC3 (part of Archivelink config).
I would still like to know if there is a cleaner way to delete the attachments from a business object.
Also is there is way to delete the 'link' from transaction OAAD.

DMS icon disable when documents are not linked

Dear friends,
Our client is having a requirement that when documents are not linked with any of the item no. of Purchase Requisition, then the DMS icon should be disabled, so that user dont have to check each and every item level of PR. If document is linked with any of the item no., then it should not get disabled.
Kindly suggest how to explore this functionality in SAP DMS.

Try doing a Save As on the linked doc and see if that helps. I presume there is no problem accessing the links from the same machine.

Try this.
Open the document and select and copy a few pages, say ten pages.
Open a new blank document and paste the pages you copied into that.
Save it with a new name.
Work on those new pages to see if the problem has disappeared.
If this helps, continue breaking up the large file in to smaller chunks and working on them
You can of course later reverse the process and merge the files into one new one.
This suggestion is based on my experiences with large Word files. Breaking it up in to smaller chunks does two things. First, if there is any corruption in the old file, the new copies might escape that. Second, the Mac is faster handling the smaller chunks.

Connect content of archive link with newly created kpro document

i am able to create a new document in Records Management with the FM:
SRM_DOCUMENT_CREATE
But, what is not realy clear for me, how can i connect content of archive link with newly created kpro document.

Hi Attila,
there is a difference between SRM_DOCUMENT_CREATE and ArchiveLink Documents.
If you use the SAP Standard Service Provider for Documents SRM_SP_DOCUMENT this
will refere to so called KPRO-Documents (KnowledgeProvider). This is totally different to
common ArchiveLink scenarios.
If you would like to use ArchiveLink Docs with attributes, there is the property unification in WebAS 6.40 available.

Hi,
you can link documents to purchase order item or purchase requisition then obviously this will be displayed in vendor invoice.
Best practice is to use SAP DMS standard functions. Don't go to link with vendor invoice.Anyhow MIRO and MIGO transaction are
depeandent on purchase requisition.I hope this will resolve your query and is a best practice.

GR link with IR Accounting Document

Hi Experts,
We are facing problem to writing a code based on GR Number with us, we want IR invoice Number link with GR accounting Document Number.
when we do GR. the accounting Entry has been generate Inventory RM Domestic a/c 100 Dr. to GR/IR clearing A/c 100 Cr.
when we do Miro Vendor A/c Debit 100 Cr
to GR/IR clearing A/c Dr. 100
Note : we are not doing GR/IR clearing account Month end activity as well Year End Activity.
Kindly help from where we can give the link from which table and field name to fetch the value . on selection screen we want give Posting date and Plant.

Hi,
I think there is no direct link between GR and IR. A PO can have multiple GRs and single IR, Single GR, multiple IRs, Single IR linked to multiple POs. What is your business scenario?
Please note that IR can be created with out even receiving GR.
Eg: In case of imports, we first receive IR and taxes to clear customs. Then only we get GR.
Table EKBE has entire PO history. Input your PO and item numbers, you would get all subsequent documents like GR, IR, Credit notes etc.

Set Firefox to your default browser, by selecting, on the control panel,
Set Program Access and Defaults. On custom, set Firefox as the default browser.

PO Service not link with AP invoice service

Currently usiing SBO 2007A, SP-00, PL 49.
I have 1 PO service. Base on this PO service, I create AP Invoice service.
The account no. use in PO service is different from account no. use in AP Invoice service. Since account no. have been overwrite in AP Invoice.
PO service is missing link with AP Invoice.
When we open again the PO we couldn't find target document.
Also same when we open AP Invoice, we couldn't find base document, which is actually the PO.
Only in AP Invoice's remark we can find the PO no.
Also in the database, in AP Invoice table base document no. is blank.
Also it cause the PO not automatically close.
Previous PL, this error not exist.
Any one can help.

we want IR Report based on our GR No. kindly tell me where we can see the against GR refrence No. get the IR Invoice details nothing but MIGO reference link with MIRO. we have GR.NO. how could we find out IR i.e MIRO Accounting Document No, for fiscal Year 2013.

Resolve by myself. Finally. i got the in standard report where we can see each n everything. just now after R&D , i achieve this report, I.e IR MIRO Accounting Document Number required based on GR MIGO Accounting Document. Go To T.Code FB03 give GR Accounting Document Number XXXXXXXXXXXX give Company Code give Fiscal Year.
press enter, go to Menu BAR-->Environment-->Document Environment--> Relationship Browser-->Click on Material Document-->click on Purchase order-->Incoming Invoice-->Accounting Document.. Problem Resolved.

SharePoint 2013 cannot view PDF documents in mobile browser with office web apps

Hi,
I'm receiving the following error when viewing SharePoint 2013 PDF documents in a mobile browser after clicking on the filename:
"Viewing of .pdf files has been disabled in Microsoft Word Mobile Viewer. Please get in touch with your helpdesk."
My Question
Is viewing PDF documents in mobile browsers with Office Web Apps SP1 actually supported? If so, how can I enable it? I've already have pdf viewing working in non-mobile browsers. Word documents open just fine on mobile browsers too.
I'm getting conflicting answers for pdf mobile viewing support from various sources:

What I've tried
When I started looking into this there was a mobile WOPI entry:
Application     : WordPdf
Extension       : PDF
ProgId          :
Action          : mobileView
IsDefaultAction : False

WopiZone        : internal-http
I tried experimenting with tweaking this binding by changing the DefaultAction to true, and even removing it altogether via:
Get-SPWopiBinding -Action "MobileView" -Application "WordPDF" | Remove-SPWopiBinding -Confirm:$false
But I still get the same message.
I removed all the WordPdf bindings and re-added them via:
New-SPWOPIBinding –ServerName "<myserver>" –Application "WordPDF" -AllowHTTP
No dice. In fact the mobileview binding doesn't even come back... but I guess that is a different issue altogether.

I think the PDF support, if it exists, in only in Office 365. Always remember that the Office 365 and on premises versions will never be in sync. On premise is updated using periodic service packs and Office 365 has continuous updates. (I've heard every
10 days.)
In my Office 365 / IE 10 tests, the PDFs open in the browser's default PDF viewer, in my case FoxIt Reader. So I can't prove one way or the other about support in Office Web Apps.

MW Design - Yeah I think "Relative paths" is the right term! I want to create a Layout with an image in the center of the page - and then duplicate my folder structure with that file. With that, I want to replace the Linked image file with a diferent image file of the same name. In effect having multiple files of the same layout with different images. I hope that made sense.

You can debug your program and check. also please check if there is any deletion indicator in PR which doesnt turn up in the report.
in report please dont have status or PR selection field as mandatory because depending on the status/ processing PR, system may skip PR's as they may not meet required conditions.

Word saving documents as binary files- can't send documents as attachments

I've had my Macbook for about 9 months. During the first 6 months, I could send attachments via email perfectly fine. After about 6 months, something happened and the files could no longer be opened after being attached. I tried sending some attachments to myself and found out that the documents were being sent as binary files.
I also backed up my documents onto an external hard drive. When I opened the documents on a Windows computer, the Word documents that I created during the first 6 months could be opened. However, the most recently created documents couldn't be opened by my computer.
I decided to do an erase and install on Saturday. Afterwards, Word was working fine and I was able to send documents as attachments. This morning (Tuesday) I tried to send attachments again and it didn't work! Again, the documents were binary files.
I'm not sure what to do because it was working fine for three days, but now it's not working anymore. I think something must have happened during those three days that corrupted my computer?
Has anyone had a similar problem? Can anyone help?
Sorry I know it was a long post but I wanted to give more information in case it would give some clues. I feel I should add that I've been having quite a few problems with my Macbook, e.g. screen freezing, DMGs not loading properly, getting some pop ups

Also wanted to add that I've had my logicboard replaced recently because of problems such as freezing, so I don't think it should be a hardware problem.

Since Word is not an Apple product, you'll get better response if you use a forum dedicated to Microsoft's Mac products such as <http://groups.google.com/groups/dir?sel=33607053> rather than an Apple forum that focuses on compatibility between Macs and Windows.
Be sure to search the forum first in case someone has already had a similar question answered. You'll get your answer faster this way. Post your question in the forum if you don't find anything that helps you
