Documents print through MB90.

Dear Friends,
My functional consultant has created one Document to test my Goods Receipt Script form,
When I am trying to access the document number through MB90 Tcode with Processing mode = First Processing, then it is not appearing.
Is there any way we need to configure these documents again?
He (functional consultant) said i have created it with current year but it is not displaying through MB90.
Please advise me in this..how to i proceed...

try it with value 2 or 3. Than you get it.
Otherwise you create an new one via MB02.

Hi Selva,
What kind of document it is? SMARTFORM , ADOBEFORM? If any of them is true there is a FM associated with each of them hence you can use that do print these. You can pass you own print parameters in the interface of these forms.
Second option check in which table the attachment get's stored get the same in binary format, and convert it into PDF, using some standard FM, Check SCMS* in SE37 that will help.

Document printing through SAP

Hi Gurus,
We are using DMS system for printing BMR & Inspection protocol. We are facing problem with printing of document. Before uploading document in DMS when we take printout, the document is printing properly. But when we upload the document to DMS & take printout system prints one extra page i.e. if my BMR is of 5 pages at the time of printing system prints 6 pages with some contents of page 5 on page 6. As the 5 page BMR is already approved by QA user cannot print BMR with 6 pages.
Pls. help if anyone has faced similar situation before.

I'm going to take wild a** guess here. First, you don't say if this is all documents or just one document. You don't specify any printer settings you are using. Does it print out the same on ALL SAP printers? Or just certain types?
Check the paper type setting you are using in the print parameters. The document might have been created and formatted using EU paper sizes but you are printing on US paper sizes.
Check the fonts used. Some printers can only interpret certain font sets. Some printers will default to a system font if it doesn't recognize the embedded fonts set and that can wreck havoc with some formatting. Make sure all the printers are updated with the most current fonts.
I will guess that in the origianl document you have hard page breaks after each page except of course page 5. When you are printing the document page 5 happens to exceed the paper setup size for the printer. (Could be due to margin width, headers, footers, To experiment with this, try printing it out onto a printer with legal size paper and see if you get just the 5 pages. This should indicate then that you have 4 hard page breaks and page 5 shoud fully fit on page 5. If you don't have hard page breaks, the document should print on less then 5 pages.
I would also double check this document in the original software it was created in. Turn on hidden characters so you cansee the hidden formatting characters. You shoudl be able to see the hard page breaks. Make sure you don't have any odd hidden characters that are confusing the SAP print out. Look specifically at the area of the document that bleeds over to a page 6 in SAP.
Not sure if any of those items are the solution, but my guess is if you check the things I've mentioned above, you'll stumble across the issue.

1. Maintain the Printer Name in SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Gen Settings->Printer Setting
2. Ensure that in SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Gen Settings->Item Print Indicator, 1 stands for Matl Doc print out
3. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Gen Settings->Print Version, maintain Print Version 2
4. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Maintain Print Indicator for GI/Transfer Posting Documents
5. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Output Determination->Maintain Output Types, for the Output types WA01,WA02,WA03,WE01, WE02 and WE03, ensure the foll:
a. Default Values: Dispatch Time is 3 or 4 as per reqmt. and Tr medium is 1
b. Print Parameter is 7
6. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Output Determination->Printer Det->Pr Det by Pl/StoLoc, maintain the Output device for all your Plants
7. Go to MN21, for Tr Type WE, Print Version 3, maintain Print Item as 1.
Now the settings are ready for Printing Material doc
8. While doing MIGO, ensure that in General Tab, you get "3 Collective Slip" beside the Print Indicator and you tick mark the field.
9. Now depending on the setting in 5a, the Matl doc is printed. If it is 3, you have to print it using MB90. If it is 4, it is printed immediately

Please let us know if there is a way to enable trace logs in Adobe Reader to further diagnose this issue.

Regarding your measurements set to centimeters rather than inches; is it just in MS Word?
Or does it occur in all other applications.
Check your Work preferences first:
If it is happening in all your applications, check your Mac OS System Preferences.

Documents pending does not printing while printing through network

Every Body! i've a problem my printer does not printing copu when i tried to print a copy using network.
When i tried to print through USB Cable it work well.
I dont understand how this problem can be resolved.

Looks like the printer is not on the network or the ip address may have changed
Please download and run the HP print scan doctor, it will identify and fix the issue...

or you may have to reconfigure the printer back to the network and install the printer drivers back on the computer...

I want to take standard Print out of 101 Movement types through MB90 Tcode.
For that i have to some out put configuration -- where and how to do that out put control settings.

Hi,
As your posting a GR, you need to maintain the settings in :
SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Maintain Print Indicator for Goods Receipt Documents
for 101 movement as 1.
Also quickly check following points
1. In OMBR indicate the printer name as LOCL,Item print indicator as 1,Print version-2
2. In M706 ,mantain output types for WE01/02/03 (as requiired),Also check the default value ,dispatch time-3/4,Tr medium-1 ,print parametr-7..here prefarable output type is WE03
3.In OMJ3 mantain output device for all the plants
4.in MN21 for output type WE,mantain print version-3 ,print item as 1.
Than in MIGO check the print check box and than going to MB90 get the document number and execute for getting print out.

Problem while printing through citrix

Dear Gurus ,
We are facing the problem during printing through citrix .
When we print locally without using citrix were able to get the proper print as it displayed in the spool .
But When we try to take the printout of document having say 12 colum , only 10 colums r coming asthe print out .
Please suggest as the views on this issue are valuable

Document Printing - Delivery Note and Packaging

Hi Experts,
When I print my Delivery Notes through Document Printing my Packaging Document prints off automatically. Please can you tell me if it's possible to switch this off so when I print my Delivery Notes through Document Printing only my Delivery Note prints off without the Packaging Note also printing.

The options I can see on my Document Printing are:
Document Type - I've selected 'Deliveries'
Series - I'll selected 'All'
When Batch/serial No Exist, Print - no matter what I select here I always get the Packaging Note printed.
Is there anyway to stop the Packaging Note being printed when printing the Delivery Note through Document Printing?

How to get the form printed through the transaction ME42.
For example :
In t.code vf03 . In the main menu there is an option billing document , when we click on that we get a drop down menu which shows issue output to. If a print program call has the code to get the value from the t.code , immdiately when we click issue output to it call the form.

Here go to ME42 put in your RFC no, in the menu Header -- Messages, go there and see if a message has been inserted, else you can insert one.
when you save this, it will call the form.

Error in document printing

Dear Experts,
We are using DMS for printing our required day to day word documents through SAP system.
We have created 2 document types viz- BMR & BPR
Number series for BMR docuemnt type is 200000000 to 299999999
Number series for BPR docuemnt type is 300000000 to 399999999
These documents are in MS word format.
These documents are linked to the combination- "Material-Plant-Production version-Document type-Document number-Document version" through a custom transaction.
The document is created in transaction CV01N with required document type. Internal numbering is assigned for number generation.
The documents are subsequently released in transaction CV02N & further used to link to above said combination.
We have created custom transaction to print the required document.
Some time what happens, that when the doument type of BPR is to be printed, word document of document type BMR gets printed insted of document type BPR. (But the printing log shows that the BPR document is printed)
Actually the day to day printing of these document types work very smoothly.But suddenly for any day this malfunctioning happens.
Can any body please suggest or put on some tips for how to troubshoot this issue & tackle it to resolve the same.

Apparently there is no HP software support for the HP 3050 fax or scan functions with OS X 'Lion' 10.7:

Alternatives?
1) Run a Windows client on the Mac using Boot Camp or one of the available virtualization programs like Parallels, VMware Fusion, and others so you can run the latest Windows print/fax/scan driver.
2) If your Mac hardware supports an older OS X version, downgrade to one (Snow Leopard?) that still had support for print, fax and scan.
3) Buy a newer printer. A 2007 model is 5+ years old, and should now be fully depreciated in a business.
