Does 1.4 fix agp problems on the 865 NEO2 FIS2R "aka that crap MSI boa

Before i even attempt the flash, has anyone who has had the problem of no power up with some types of agp cards had success with this bios update?

I have not personally tried the 1.4 bios, but from reading the post on this forum we can conclude that MSI still hasn't resolved this issue.
In fact, the bios 1.4 turned out to be a big dissapointment for most users.
Like I have told you before, my board was a faulty one.
I send it to MSI branch office in Miami, FL. together with all my stuff (memory, processor, videocard and the board) because they asked me to.
They tried it out over there, and couldn't get it to work.
Then they tried a different board, and that one did work.
So they sent everything back to me, tested and all.
I fired it up and it worked. I've even started to overclock it and it still works OK.
So it was just a faulty board, badluck for me.
I think this is an issue, because I've seen more of this problems on the forum.
The thing is, MSI aknowledged that the board failed, but they didn't tell me why.
They only told me it was an "AGP slot" problem.
But hey, as long as it works it's OK with me.
However, I would like to have more information on this so I could help out others here.
Perhaps later on some bios update will help you guys out.

DFU or Device Firmware Upgrade mode allows all devices to be restored from any state.

You should sync your ipod to your computer regularly.

Problem in the storage section of " about that mac "

I recently bought a new 2014 Mac book pro retina 13 inch and I'm really happy with it even if I think that OSX Yosemite have some bugs ( usually fluidity ) .
But I have a problem in the storage section of "about that mac", the problem is that it says everywhere that i have used 66 Go of the storage but in that section it says that I have 77 Go of applications ( more than 60 go more ). So I wanted to know if it was hiding a bigger problem or if it was a basic OS problem without any importance.

Photoshop CS5 update doesn't fix artifact problem in the menu bar !

I've installed the new update (december 7) recommended by Adobe, but that doesn't fix the Artifact problems in the menu bar !!!
More, with my Windows 7 Pro (French language), Photoshop CS5 video pilot create artifacts in the menu bar in several situations.
With Windows classic Theme chosen, theme management disabled:
1. Opening a photo and applying a filter (especially Noise Reduction).
2. Opening a photo and changing some preferences.
3. Opening a photo with Windows 7 File Explorer working cause the pilot to crash with a black screen, ans followed by a message saying that Win 7 has recovered the video pilot.
To suppress most of the problems, I need to Activate "Themes" and choose an Aero theme or the Basic Theme.
I also need to activate some items that slow the PC !
Very strange !
Could someone help, me please ?

Possible fix for "problem downloading the IPOD software.." error

I have a click wheel IPOD and after dropping it was forced to restore to factory setting. When attempting to restore, Itunes nor my computer recognized my IPOD and when it finally did I got the message
"These was a problem downloading the Ipod software for the Ipod "Ipod." The requested resource was not found."
I did the 5 steps repeatedly over 2 days with no luck then today I combined advice from a bunch of postings and it worked!
Here's what worked:
1)Bought a new USB 2.0 connect cable.
2)Deleted the folder containing the firmware files: see

3)Delete Ipod updater
4)Restarted computer
5)Download updated Itunes

When I ran the exe file it asked if I wanted to "repair" or "reinstall" I choose "repair".
5)Reset ipod
6)Opened itunes, connected ipod, it took about 10 minutes for itunes to sync with the ipod.
7)Choose restore.
After that it went as normal.

A problem with the P35 Neo2-FR

Greetings
Firstly I'm new to this forum and by the looks of it its not based in Europe so you're all probably asleep right now.
Anyway, I am having trouble getting this motherboard, Neo2-FR, to boot at all and nothing but a blank screen. No BIOS, no splashscreen, nothing.
When I short the power switch it turns on, then off, then on and the LEDs go through the sequences of red/green until it reaches green, green, red, green and stops. The red CMOS LED is lit constantly, the blue PCI-E LED is lit, LED 13 (PCI slot 1) flickers constantly but the PCI slots are empty.
I've tried using 4 sticks of RAM, 2sticks of RAM and 1stick of RAM. It makes no difference. The FSB has been set to 200, 266 and 333 to no effect. I have tried plugging in a floppy drive, CD-ROM and harddrive all to no effect. I have tried pressing the CMOS switch, shorting the power, shorting the reset switch and patience.
I'm very thorough and usually something is faulty when I can't fix it.
Whats wrong with it? Is LED flickering a bad sign?
edit: this board should boot without a BIOS update for 45nm chips

Will the 865 neo2 fisr support the Prescott processor?

Hi there, I heard that intel has upped their power requirements for the Prescott and that many of the boards that advertised support for this processor are now unable to work with it. Do you guys know if the 865pe neo2 fisr will still support the prescott with these updated power requirements?

hi, i have been onto intel about these issues, and as far as i can make out, the prescott processor will be marketed at top end users such as 875p chipset boards and 865 chipset boards and these boards are intended to stay at the high end users product line untill atleast the last quarter of 2004.
any lateness of these chips is due to ati's early arrival of their 64k chipsets and the first prescott chipset is said to be released onto the market in the first quater of 2004 and the processor speed is expected to be 3.4 gig, and to reach 4 gig at the end of 2004.
other than this, their is much excitement about this chip which has a higher L2 cache, and as far as i could see, no concerns about voltage due to the new arrival of HT2 technology which is supposedly a more stable and effective son of HT technology.
as of all this, the p4 extreme chip which has a L3 cache of 1 meg( i think) is out there and will run ta stock levels at 3.6 gig.. for £600 a bit much, but these are rumoured to be able to o/c to 4.5 gig and beyond....

How to fix a problem with the order of strings in a JSON response for a CFHTTP request?

First of all, I'm still new at CF and my questions may seem too much silly and my English's not the best, so, please be patient with me. hehe
Well, I'm accessing a link via CFHTTP that gives me a JSON response. I'm not familiar with JSON yet, so I'm working it as a string and using string functions (Find,RemoveChars,Replace,etc), but it happens to me that I'm receiving a certain kind of order of the strings list from the JSON when I access it directly from the browser and other kind of order totally different when I access it from the CFHTTP.
I only figured it out because I was working at home with my code and there everything went just fine as expected. Then I brought to my job to develop a little bit more as soon as I get a free time and here my code doesn't work anymore. When I took a look at the JSON by a CFOUTPUT, I realized the strings were in a different order.
Does anyone know why is it happening?

When you deserialize JSON data, ColdFusion converts it into native structures and arrays (roughly equivalent to JavaScript objects and arrays). In ColdFusion, structures are unordered (that is, they don't maintain keys in any particular ordered sequence).
This really shouldn't be a problem though, at least not if you just want to work with the data contained in the deserialized JSON structure. So DadosJSON should be a native ColdFusion structure, and you can interact with it like any other structure in ColdFusion. In fact, you should not have to re-serialize it at all unless you need to send it to an external application using JSON.
Why are you reserializing the data? And why use serialize() instead of serializeJSON()?

I couldn't connect to my router since I updated to 2.0.2 and so have many other people. Does the 2.1 software update fix that problem? Because the update is so not worth $10 only because "Genius" is added. PLEASE anyone. Help!

How do you fix this problem with the View Menu?

Hi. This is my first time on this forum so please forgive me if not worded correctly.
I have recently installed CS5 on Windows 7. I work with large folders of images. When I open the folder the images are spread out with a big gap between each row of images. It is much easier when they are close together especially when I am selecting a large number of images to transfer or copy. If I change the menu view to details and then immediately back to list they display as I want. As soon as I open any folder again they go back to being all spread out.
I thought it may be a Windows problem but I have set it up correctly in Windows Explorer and saved it as that option for all files. They display perfectly on that and also other programs I use where I need to view large amount of images.
Can anyone suggest what the problem may be and how I can fix it? Please see the following screen grabs which will show what I mean.
The top version is how I like the files to look. The bottom version is what I always get in CS5. If you can solve the problem I would be very happy.

What you are seeing is a windows folder option.
In Windows 7 click the start button, choose computer then open your C drive.
From there you will see something similar to this,
Click on the sort options and choose list. Now we need to make it the default so when you look in photoshop it remains as a list.
to do that from this same window choose tools then folder options. A new window will pop up called folder options on the second tab called View is an all folders button, this will apply this view to all folders. if you have Photo shop open close it re-open it and how you will always get the view you want.
