Does 2012 imac come with cleaning cloth

does apple imac 2012 model come with a cleaning cloth

As far as I know, that was discontinued a few years ago. Get one for cleaning eyeglasses from your local optometrist/eyeglass store. They usually come with the cases. You probably have one already; be certain to wash it first in mild detergent and then let it dry out. Make sure it's a nice soft one. I think they're all microfiber now.

  • Does a iMac come with DVD burning software?

I just bought an iMac and can not find a way to burn a movie to a DVD.  Does burning software come with the computer?

iDVD is part of the retail iLife 11 package. You can purchase the retail version at the Apple Store or various resellers (also ebay). I purchased it simply to have a hard copy of iDVD since it is no longer part of the OS.
You can send Apple feedback with the suggestion that they reconsider and keep it part of the OS here:

  • Does my iMac come with ny security softwares???

Hey everyone I am aware that macs are very safe, but I am a security freak, so I am wondering...
    1. Does my iMac coe with any internet security or virus protection? I was reading somewhere that hey had something that came with it.
However i am not sure which is why i am asking you gys!

Yes, your Mac comes with security software...it is called Mac OS X. The Mac OS is built on Linux which means it is built with security in mind. Having set up and started your computer, you created an account which a password. That is one level of security since you cannot use Apple's installer software to install programs nor make changes to the main Library without that password. Malware has to ask you for help getting installed.
You probably created your account as an administrator account. I'd recommend that you consider creating a second account and make it a normal account. Use that account for day to day work and use the admin account for installing software that demands an administrative password. The advantage is that if any malware does slip in through nefarious means, it can only affect your user account and not the entire computer.
Don't forget that the Mac OS comes with a firewall built in. Look for it in the System Preferences under 'security'. I don't recall if it is turned on by default or not.
Other than this, do you really need third party security software? If you read the scary news (compiled by friendly companies that make computer security software) yes, you do. But the truth is, except for a couple trojans and a hacked program at a warez site, there have been no baddies found for the Mac in the wild. What has been found is easily avoidable by practicing safe hex - no special security software needed.
No question, this could all change very quickly but for now, go ahead and download ClamXav, an open source anti-virus program. It won't do any harm to the computer or your pocketbook. Then again, so far, it hasn't done me any good either.

  • Ipod touch didn't come with cleaning cloth?

i recently got an ipod touch a little over a week ago, and while watching some reviews online, i've noticed people have gotten a cleaning cloth with theirs. i checked the packaging and everything, and there is no cleaning cloth inside. am i supposed to have one, or did they stop putting them inside the packaging?

According to what I read (link below) Apple stopped supplying a polishing cloth with the 3g. I did not get one with mine.

  • Does the ipad come with a cloth?

    Hello everyone,
Looking online for cases and what not, I keep reading people mentioning a black cloth that comes with the IPOD and IPAD. I just bought the new IPAD and received no such cloth. Was there supposed to be a cloth in the packaging or am I just confused?
    Thanks in advance.

Would that be newer iMacs and laptops? I didn't get one with my '06 iMac. And one wouldn't really expect one with my '09 Mac mini.
Both of the MacBookPros I have owned came with one. Wouldn't expect one with the Mini, since it doesn't have a built in screen. Not a big deal either way. It's just a small microfiber cloth, not a magic Apple cloth. Easily found in a drug or discount store.

  • Does my iMac come with antivirus? What's best antivirus to get? Where to find?

Does my iMac — purchased within the last two months with Version 10.7.3 — come with antivirus? I can't find it on my system. If not, what's the best antivirus to get? Where do I find it?

It's integratedd into OS X. You don't need any anti-virus software. See:
Helpful Links Regarding Flashback Trojan and Virus Protection
An excellent link to read is Tom Reed's Mac Malware Guide.
A link to a great User Tip about the trojan: Flashback Trojan User Tip.
To check for the trojan: Anti Flashback Trojan 2.0.4.
A Google search can reveal a variety of alternatives on how the remove the trojan should your computer get infected. This can get you started. Or the preferred method is to use Apple's protection tool: Flashback Malware Removal Tool 1.0.
Or, open Software Update. If you do not have the Apple protection software installed it will download and install it via Software Update. If no update appears that means you either already have it installed or it isn't needed for your system. The software is only available for Leopard, Snow Leopard, and Lion versions of OS X.
Also see Apple's article About Flashback malware.
For general anti-virus protection I only recommend using ClamXav.

  • Does the imac come with a wireless keyboard and a wireless mouse?

I am buying an imac tomorrow and I was wondering if I have to pay extra for a wireless keyboard and a wireless mouse.

iMac's come with a wireless keyboard and magic mouse, as the standard fare. So you don't need to pay extra for them. I would recommend purchasing rechargable batteries and a charger, as the mouse does chew through batteries.

  • Does an imac come with a cd drive?

Don't know whether they come with a cd drive

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
The most recent iMac doesn't come with a disc drive, but older iMacs have got a disc drive. As the new iMac hasn't got one, you have to buy an external disc drive

  • Does the iMac come with a screen protector on it? There are bubbles on my screen.

Why are there bubbles on my screen?

The iMsc comes wrapped in shrinked wrapped plastic sheeting.
The iMac is completely shrouded all around with this plastic shrink wrapped or static cling plastic sheeting.
You need to remove all of it from all around your iMac.

  • Does my imac come with snow leopard cd

I purchased imac 27" (refurbished) less than 1 year ago from apple.  Now I need bootcamp drivers and I don't recall whether or not receiving snow leopard cd with this.  Can someone confirm about this?
    Thanks

    Hi,
OSX Snow Leopard was released in August 2009.
So when you have bought your refurbished iMac in 2010 then there has to be an OSX Snow Leopard DVD included.
    Search thoroughly for it.
If you don't find it anymore you can either call Apple and ask for a replacement or go to your nearest Apple shop and buy a retail OSx Snow Leopard for USD 29.
    Regards
    Stefan

  • Does 2013 iMac come with installation disk

I bought second hand iMac from Ebay but got no installation disk.
    Should it have one?
    Came complete in original packaging.

If you require an fresh install of Mac OS X....Start up your mac while holding down CMD + R.
This will download the OS from Apple for free.
P.S it will only download the OS X version that came with your iMac. You can then upgrade it to Yosemite for free.

  • Do any imacs come with a touch screen if not whats the best touch  screen for a 2012 13inch macbook air

Do any imacs come with a touch screen if not whats the best touch  screen for a 2012 13inch macbook air?
    Thx

    No they don't.
Apple's position is that touchscreens are for tablets and phones (in Apple's case the iPad and iPhone) and that OSX does not need a touchscreen - the trackpad and/or mouse is more flexible.
That may change in future but no one here knows.
In answer to your second question, there is NO touch screen available for the MacBook Air (2012 or any other vintage), nor for the MacBook Pro.  If you must have a touchscreen, consider an iPad with a stand and a wireless keyboard.  Alternatively, a Windows 8.1 laptop or desktop???
