Does 2g have Bluetooth?

I've tried to google this but getting mixed answers.
I want to be able to listen to my music with some bluetooth headphones.
I don't need the mic to work.
I will most likely put OS 3.0 on it because I like the way it sorts symbols in playlist but that is another story.
So my main question is....
Will a 2g itouch with OS 3.0 have bluetooth to listen to music via bluetooth headphones?

from the manual, page 39:
You can use iPod touch with Bluetooth stereo headphones for wireless listening. To learn which Bluetooth profiles are supported, go to support.apple.com/kb/HT3647
then you take that identity - like AVRCP - and look for that on the headphones you like...
you can use any headphone that says A2DP, AVRCP, PAN or HID but the manual has more info plus how to link the touch to the headphones the first time.

A nice suggestion that I may go with but I'm still interested in finding a wireless solution. I'd like to get in my car with music already playing on the phone and have the car stereo pick it up and play through the speakers, then receive a phone call hearing the caller through the car speakers and use a mic in car that would work for my part of the call. Yes, you can setup the iPod and redownload past iTunes purchases. You need a wifi connectin to the interent.

try to seach on the product sites of toshiba to find out if your system is capable of bluetooth...
if you cant find any bluetooth devices in the device manager it's possible that there are none in this notebook...
but as far as i knows almost every notebook from toshiba has a socket for a bluetooth module...
maybe you can find a door on the bottom of the machine next to the ram...
make sure that there is a antenna also...
if unsure ask your servicepartner/dealer

Does anyone have Bluetooth failures with Mot Razr Droid Maxx using car hands free systems

Both my wife and I have Razr Droid Maxx's and are having the same problems with our respective cars. At times, the phone will drop the bluetooth connection and it will have to be rebooted at which point it will be discovered and re-connected to the car. The problem is NOT in the car, as we have a Ford Fusion and a Toyota Camry and we encounter the same problem with both.
Both phones are running Ice Cream Sandwich and we have verified all of the bluetooth settings at both ends of the connection.For some reason the phones.
The problem is particularly annoying in that, at least in the Camry, you are unable to reconnect the phone while driving, so you have to pull over and put the car in Park in order to do it.
Verizon tech support and the Verizon store have been of no help. They simply shrug their shoulders and say they have never heard of the problem.
Has anyone else had issues like this?

I use Razr HD Maxx and used to have bluetooth disconnect problems during the calls. I tried everything I could think of, all in vain. Factory-reset solved the problem only for a while. Finally, I have found that some communication apps like Viber have the nasty habit of asserting itself every few minutes during non-Viber calls and reset both the bluetooth and speakerphone state to the default mode. This causes bluetooth to disconnect or turn off the speakerphone a few minutes into every non-Viber call. If you have an app like Viber, try either freezing it or uninstalling it. Uninstalling Viber was the only permanent solution to my bluetooth disconnect problems.

I can't believe this. For months I can't even use a bluetooth mouse!
Once working fine, then there appeared to be a bluez issue, so I got the latest release 4.40
got my /var/lib/bluetooth/MAC/trusts file and finally had my mouse back until...
after a few minutes it lost the connection and refuses to reconnect.
Now kbluetooth won't start, that is, it doesn't appear and says it's already running!
I've tried blueman but that wants to pair the mouse with a passkey.
So if anyone has a working kbluetooth please post the configuration here.

I had the same problem, my bluetooth mouse stop working when I upgraded to bluez 4.x

is deprecated and documentation about bluez ActivateService is not working with bluez4.x:

Google suggest me to install d-feet and look into dbus to correct the python scripts and finally I got my bt mouse back again.

Under drivers for my model, there are choices for drivers for bluetooth, but my computer has the 6150 Centrino wireless card. It does not recognize bluetooth hardware recognized with the latest chipset driver.
As this is not CTO, does it have bluetooth? Or, do I need a dongle?

Did you make the Update from Windows 8?
The Windows 8 just one driver has update for the card Atheros.

G580 20157 do I have bluetooth?

Nothing on the computer says it has blue tooth. There is no toggle for BT in the settings yet there is a driver for BT listed and some specs I see online for my model says it does. I am running win8 64 bit out of the box. It is not an upgrade.

I am sorry but I am not able to get the complete configuration from the serial number. It could be because of the database regional limitation. However let us try other options.
On pressing Fn+F5, does it pop up a new Window - 'Wireless Device Settings' ? If it does then check if Bluetooth is listed on that. If it is not then system does not have Bluetooth.
If Fn+F5 does not show Wireless Device Settings Window then try installing Windows 7 version of Energy Management Download Link and then check. Please make sure that you uninstall existing Energy Management before installing this version.

I am looking at buying the latest iPod nano, I don't like the standard cable headphones, they get in the way, fall out, get tangled and get pulled out of your ears.
