Does a Mac Pro work with a 5 GHz router?

Hi,
My Mac Pro is connected to a 2.4 / 5Ghz D-Link router via a ethernet cable. I know I get 2.4 Ghz, but can I get it to work at 5Ghz?

Well, you need to follow the directions in the user's guide for whatever wireless base station you are using.
If you are using the AirPort Extreme base station (AEBS), you need to use AirPort Utility.

Dual AMD PCIe 7xxx and above even in dual setups, or of course you can throw one or two nVidia GTX 7xx into those silver "oMP" 2009-2012s (the 2008 just lacks good decent PCIe GPU performance with good graphic cards).
Also the way the nMP will 'share' and throttle to limit itself to 450W and its thermal design so that both GPUs and the processor are not both given full reign (they do when running Windows 8.1 natively - 8.1 because that is the "oldest" version supported with drivers and booting via Apple).

I have an application install disc that has ilife and a few others but I'm thinking that I may have disc for the system and optional installs somewhere.

Any good common brand should work fine. Pick something that is 1080p that suits your budget and is of a suitable size for the room.
Note that currently there is a graphics driver issue with the HDMI output as well as the mini displayport to VGA adapter, so when you connect a TV via either, you may have glitches on screen or just a black screen. Reportedly Apple is working on fixing that.
PS: The TVs are LCD TVs with LED backlighting or LED edge lighting.

I'm looking to buy a Mac Pro 15'' to do development / showcasing WebGL.
WebGL is best supported by Chrome and Firefox, however i'd like to find out if WebGL is supported by the AMD Radeon HD 6750M GPU?
Can someone who owns a similar system let me know if WebGL is supported?

Apple only recommends what they have tested themselves on currently-shipping machines.
Since they didn't SELL denser DIMMs, they did not bother to test them before that Mac was discontinued.
There are four slots, the last two of which are shared. You can install 8GB DIMMs (pairing is not necessary) for very reasonable amounts of money, often, but not always the old DIMMs can be retained if desired. You can also install 16GB DIMMs under certain restricted conditions if you do not mind the expense. This Mac-centric Vendor has done their homework on the issue:

Mac iBook works with WRT54G v8.2 router only if it's not secured..

I've read that many people are having problems using their Mac's with the WRT54G router and no one seems to have a solid answer.
My router (v8.2) is wired to my Dell PC and it works perfectly. When I try to connect wirelessly using my Mac iBook G4, it says "invalid password". I've typed it in several times and have even changed the password and it still doesn't work. If I disable the security, I have no problems getting on. What can I do?
I've tried several suggestions other people have gotten and it just doesn't seem to be working. Many people said to do the firmware update 8.2.03 and that that has been the problem with the older models. However, my v8.2 already has it. Changing to different security modes doesn't work either. I don't know how to manually connect my Mac to the router either... is that an option? Also, my husband would like to use his iPod touch wirelessly as well. We can use both our Mac and iPod with other Airport Network signals we get, but we'd like to use our own (with security).
Please help! I'm not too experienced with computers...

Yes, it is a v8.2 router and so is the firmware.
From my research I believe I need to make sure my Mac iBook is using the same WPA method/security mode and shared key as the router. If that is the case I have no idea how to go about doing so. I have tried to find info on the net on how to know/change what my settings are. I'm pretty frustrated with the whole situation.
So my question is if I can't figure out how to have security and be able to connect with my Mac... is it just as good to make the router a "closed connection" (disable wireless broadcast) and use a wireless MAC filter so that only computers I have on a MAC list can connect? I've set my router settings as such but just want to make sure that it would be as safe as having security. Is there a way for people to get around my settings and still get my signal?

I'm a teenager making a choice on getting a macbook for school because I heard macs are outstanding and have done research on them too. The only thing I dont know and need to know is that, does the Mac Office work with Mircosoft Office? I would like to know this because I like to write papers home and at school but I dont know if I can transfer the data from my schools Mirosoft Office to a Mac Office.
