restart your computer.
right click the setup file and click "run as administrator".

Does anyone have a clue as to when the MacBook Pro will come installed with the new OSX Lion? In the market for a new Mac laptop but would prefer waiting for the Pro to come with the new system alreayd installed.

If you order on-line it will ship with Lion.
Local retail stores vary according to their inventory, more than likely the have Lion ready MBP. Call and ask.

Does a Lion Disk Come With The New Macbook Pros?

I recently ordered a new mbp, and am planning on swapping the hdd for an intel ssd. Do the new macbook pros that come with lion pre-installed also include a lion install dvd like the old laptops do, or will I need to download lion from the app store and burn it to a disk to install it on my new ssd?

OS X Lion is not being included as an install DVD with new Macs. (It does come pre-installed.) Apple is offering a $69 USB stick with Lion pre-installed for owners would like to own a solid state means of recovery. Lion is strictly internet based with its recovery features - in other words - Macs will need to be able to connect to the internet to restore a computer with HDD failure (or some other issue where you need to restore the system.)

looking to buy the logic pro. not having fun with Ableton. I feel like logic pro is worth it. also do all the plug-in come wiith it? Do I need anything extra after buying logic pro to hear them through monitors?

It's more about if it works with the version of OS X you are running or intend to run later....
So if it is currently working under Mavericks 10.9.3 then it should work with LPX or any other Audio program... for that matter.

Depends on the Mac OS X version...if it is Lion, 10.7.2, no there is not an included install disk, there is a recovery partition containing a copy of the Mac OS X on the hard drive.
If it has Snow Leopard, 10.6, yes there should be an install disk.

I am new to Logic Pro (I haven't downloaded the software yet) and I have a Tascam US-1800 that I used with Cubase LE 5 in the past. I have heard that the Tascam US-1800 works with Logic programs and have confirmed that it works with Logic Pro 9; but I am not completely sure if anyone has tried Logic Pro 10 with the Tascam US-1800 yet. Does anybody know if it is compatible? Moreover, has anyone faced any problems when recording with a Tascam US-1800 on Logic Pro 10 yet?

It's amazing how there is no means to get a hold of Adobe to ask a simple sales question. It looks like the only option is for their customers to provide the answers. Not promising for long-term support...
Does anyone know if a single product subscription to Premiere Pro CC also provides Adobe Media Encoder as part of that $20 monthly price or is AME considered a second app, thus a $40 price tag? It doesn't come as a separate app. It's part of the Premiere Pro app.

I downgraded from CC to CS6, and Acrobat XI is now in trial mode. How can I use the Acrobat X that comes with the CS6 Master Collection disc? Should I uninstall Acrobat XI then install Acrobat X? What about de-/reactivation?

I've read about deactivating/reactivating with Photoshop. If applicable, how is that done?

deactivating is done by opening a programs > click help > click deactivate.

There are many orchestral sounds available within Logic.
That being said, many people will purchase sample-sets with a wider array of sounds, some of which may be more realistic, or otherwise more authentic.

Does iphone's warranty come with the device or the purchaser?

I am trying to a used iphone5. The seller told me its power button isn't working functionally. But it's under warranty. So if I go to the apple store, they can fix it or change with a refurb. Since I am not the original owner of the iphone, can I get the phone fixed? What should I bring if I go to apple store? Receipt? or just they check the serial number and it's all good? Also, will it be covered if the power button is not working?

I spent 100 bucks on this thing. It would be nice to know if i need the cable to watch my TV. This thing just stopped working. I'm going to return this and go get the chrome cast (35 dollars and it works). This is a major pain to have to go out and buy one.

Apple doesn't supply the cable because only a handful of people ever need one and of those that do the vast majority will already have one.
For the overwhelming number of users who don't need or already have a cable this represents a saving when they purchase their Apple TV which of course then doesn't include the price of a cable.
For the very few users who do need to purchase a cable, they have lost nothing because they are only paying for something they would have had to pay for when they bought the Apple TV, if a cable was included in the box.

I ask because internet is slow and the zombiu bundle has 1gb system update pre intsalled....

It probably depends on how long the Wii U you're buying has been sitting at the store.
