does Adobe always allow for cross Suite upgrades? for example production to design,etc?
With 5.5 out and a likely CS6 coming in October, I'm trying to plan an upgrade path.

they apparently like April and October (must be an accounting, wall street thing)
but I might be off by a year based upon the dates above, especially since 5.5 was just released.

Hi Ms Buckner,
Yes, you can do this with the Show/Hide "Skip" logic rules.
1. Suppose, for example, you have your first ten projects showing by default.
2. At the end of those fields, you would have a Yes/No question asking if the person wanted to add more projects.
3. If they answer "No", they move on to the next section/area/question/etc.
4. If they answer "Yes" you have the form display ten more project fields that you had already included, but you had hidden up to this point.
5. Repeat steps two, three, and four as often as needed. (It helps that you can copy and paste fields, including groups of questions, so you don't have to manually re-create them each time.)
It means you must anticipate the maximum number of times you want to provide project fields, but you've already done that, and you have to build the form with that maximum number, but only display smaller portions at a time until they have filled in all they need.

We relied upon the "days available for download" to get people to take
action more quickly. The "virus scanning" progress bar was simply another
way of knowing this activity was actually taking place - unless this is
written somewhere in the Adobe Send User Guide.....wherever that is.

Just wanted to report this. I have not checked to see if it has been previously submitted. The issue
is intermittent.

I think this happens because you need to send e-mail when you do the first contact with the user. Tellimg him who you are and etc.
When you already "know" that user, u can check the box.

...which essentially means it's most likely a volume license and thus not transferable in the first place. The rest is as Steve said - buying software on eBay is risky even on the best of days.

We have CS6 on multiple iMacs in our department at work with Mavericks. No problems running any CS6 applications at all.
We have only run into one problem with Acrobat Pro X after installing Creative Cloud, that every time we start that app, it asks for the CS6 license number. Thus we have stopped using it for Acrobat Pro XI.

I'm using a preformatted form that contains auto calculations. When I use it on Adobe reader 11 on my laptop, it works. However, when I use the Adobe reader app for windows eight the auto calculations do not work. Is there anything I Can do?

Adobe Reader Touch (Windows Store app with "Modern" UI) does not support JavaScript yet. Thus, auto calculations or field formatting will not work.
If your operating system is Windows 8/8.1 (Pro), not Windows RT, you can install and run Adobe Reader XI (desktop app with classic UI).
If your operating system is Windows RT, you may want to try Microsoft Reader (the built-in PDF viewer by Microsoft) to see if auto calculations work.

It appears that iTunes 11 does not allow for the "dragging" and "dropping" of music from a library onto a manually managed device.. is that true? I am trying to drag a playlist onto my iPhone. I've done it many times before on previous versions of iTunes but now that the menu is up in the heading, I can't drag the playlist onto the icon for my iPhone.

No.
Sync you are not syncing, the ONLY way to get items onto a manually managed device is to drag and drop.
However, I feel a much simpler way is to create a playlist and add/remove songs from this playlist and autosync this playlist (or multiple playlists). I use about 6 or 7 playlists
You can still also drag & drop songs while autosycning.

I really need adobe C6 Dreamweaver for 2 months and I was wondering if a subsciption is offered for it. I saw they have it for Adobe CC, but I need specifically the C6 version.

Does it make sense for me to upgrade a 2007 macbook to lion?

My wife has a 2007 macbook 2.2 mhz intel dual core with 2GB of RAM. She is using Snow Leopard.
I updated my 2010 MBP to Lion and it works well; faster. I'm not sure it would be worth installing Lion on her machine.
Has anyone installed Lion on a similiar 2007 MB machine and how is the result?
Can you use all the gestures on the track pad?
Is it slowed down? or faster?
Any comments would be appreciated.
