Does Adobe business catalyst support .htaccess file to ban ip address ?

I want to ban some ip address based for my BC website for forums.
Span detection feature does not work for me, How can i ban IP addresses ?

Thanks Liam, I think my client wants to send and receive, but he should be using a service like Dropbox for larger files. At least that's what I do! Just wanted to know what the limits were for Adobe BC hosted emails, I couldn't find that info anywhere.

The ans is Audition (& Cool Edit before) has very impressive BWF capabilities.
But with some MASSIVE fundamental & fatal flaw problems
So good but sooooo missing some vital aspects,
Adobe are so close to having an app the Film/TV post community could use & love ( just like loads of people keep using "Photoshop" as the best 2D graphics app, no matter they maybe principally working in 3D; it is a crying shame the fact Adobe have bought this "gem" and don't it seems realize Audition is for sure the Photoshop for Audio. IMO nothing comes close, Audition is the ultimate Audio editor (and in no way bad, well pretty good, as a multi-track).

Yes I am sure it does Sharkenny, however does the client have a merchant facility with Westpac? Eway gateway is supported by BC and most Australian banks can set that up for your client. There are other options available in BC if Westpac does not use Eway.

BC supports a myriad of payment gateways. If you client does not have an Eway facility with Westpac, or does not want to do so because of cost, you can go for offline processing, where the webforms can collect credit card data and send an encrypted email with the details so the client can write up the cr card payment and go and deposit at the bank. Or you can use Paypal. However Paypal in BC only works with Shops, not web forms.

Is it possible to run JRox/Ioncube on an Adobe Business Catalyst server?
Back Story:
I have a client who has the need to extend the capabilities of the built-in BC Affiliate program. They currently own and have been using JRox Affiliate Marketing Software. This software is PHP based and requires the Ioncube to authenticate the JRox PHP script license.
BC tech thread, "Server-side scripts will not run in BC." However, also indicated is that apps run on a remote serve could be integrated (iframed) into BC?
Looking for a best practice, or alternative compatible BC solution. I.e., Omnistar, Post Affiliate Pro, SalesForce...

I know I need to start a blog, but want to integrate it into my existing Muse-designed website, which is hosted with Adobe Business Catalyst? Is there any way to do this? (I want my main master page navigation bar to have a link to the blog...which I can't do unless the page is part of the site, right?)

Adobe Business Catalyst question

I had a domaine name that's no longer active. It's deleted. before i changed anything in Adobe Business Catalyst .. So i keep getting weekly reports for my former domaine. How do i stop getting those reports. I have tried logging in to Adobe Business Catalyst, , but i get this message "Oops! Google Chrome could not find www.cphworkforce.dk" Please help.. :-) Kind regards Klaus

If you stop paying or end a domain purchase it does not mean your BC site will stop running.
Guesssing your development URL is this it?
http://cphworkforce.businesscatalyst.com/
If not just replace the subdomain with the site name you entered.
You can access the admin here:
http://cphworkforce.businesscatalyst.com/admin
You can go delete the site, change the settings as you want/need.

Delete site in Adobe Business Catalyst

How can I delete a SITE create in Adobe Business Catalyst, I have a Creative Cloud account.

From this post from the Business Catalyst forum:
Login the into the admin first
After login click on the Partner Portal link on the top.
Click on clients tab
Click the site that you want to delete
Under Details section on the righthand side you will find [Delete site] option at the bottom right corner of details section or next to the Upgrade site button.
Click Delete site button a feedback will be asked fill it if you want or just press the Delete site button at the bottom of the form and your site will be deleted

We moved the "Delete Site" functionality to the Admin Console of the website in order to help Creative Cloud users and beginners cancel an existing paid website that they don't need anymore. Here's a snapshot of this new feature.
Note that this "new" BC does not go live until July 2nd, so this feature may not be accessible until then.

Help with Adobe Business Catalyst?

I am having a serious issue with trying to get information regarding a tech issue with Adobe Business Catalyst for a client. I cannot get even a chat room help. Is there no access to a chat room or immediate support? I was told yesterday that I would get an answer back and have not had a response. I have multiple accounts and have encouraged client to sign up with Adobe CC....now I need to get some help and it's hard to find.

The piece of code seems to work, but everytime BC fires a pop up window, like wen we add a new product to the shoping cart or wen we hit the empty shoping cart button, they go back to the original strings in English, and only when we refresh the browser or move to another catalog and continue shoping, the messages go back to Portuguese. The same happens to the pop up window messages from the js file from Customizing Online Shop Alert Message Strings, they only change to Portuguese if we refresh the browser,every time we make a new action, the pop up window messages go back to english.

There is an AJAX refresh of the DIV when you click certain items, you need to rebind your javascript on the refresh of the content.

Hi Kevin,
I assume that you have created your site through Muse. In this case, by default, File Manager is disabled to prevent the risk of accidental content overwrites since there is no roundtrip between Muse and the online editor.
If you wish to enable the File Manager, edit your account settings (by clicking on your name on the top right corner and selecting My Details) and check the Enable online content editing box.
This will enable several options into your menu, including the file manager.

If you're referring to Google Webmaster Tools, as provided in the link below, there are multiple ways in order to verify your site. The easiest method would be to verify your site ownership by adding a DNS record. If you have redelegated your domain to use BC's nameservers, simply add the appropriate record via Site Settings > Site Domains.
