Does adobe flash player stay on the Mac?

Hi there!
I keep getting messages to update flash player after I have just downloaded Flash Player 11. The only thing the Finder shows me is the Adobe Flash Player Installer.
So does it remain on the Mac after I have looked at a document with Flash? Do I have to burn it on the disk as I am offered to do in the Installer's options?

Not to be pedantic, but you say that you downloaded it - you don't specifically say that you ran the installer. If not, you will certainly need to do so. Quit all browsers, run the installer (you'll be asked for your admin password and you'll see a progress bar), then, on completion, relaunch your browser and check the website again.
Once it's installed, you can trash the installer. No need to burn to a disk or whatever.

    Trying to install Adobe Flash Player 11 on my Mac. The insallation stops and I am told to exit something called PlugInProcess. I don't know what it is. I don't show it being open. Any help?

    The Plugin Process is an app that runs alongside Firefox and Safari when they're open. Lately Firefox's plugin process has been "hanging" on my Mini. I'll close the app but it keeps running and using RAM for several minutes.
    Download the Mac Offline Installer here
    Quit your browser and reboot if necessary to "kill" all processes.
    Then mount the DMG and run the installer.

    IF there is many lines when we use the ListController ,the data nears the taskbar can not be used the Right Click Menu。

    The problem does not happen when the environment is below
    1、IE10(Win7/64bit)
    2、Google Chrome(Win8/64bit Ent JP)

    Have no clue.  You provided no details and your system profile is blank.
    Which os are you using?
    How are you connected to the internet?
    Have you contacted your isp to make sure the slowness is not coming from their end?
    Max out your ram.
    How large is your hard drive and how much hard drive space do you have left?
    You you using the latest version of Adobe Flash?
    Please describe in detail all you have attempted to do in order to resolve the issue.

    1. Restart your computer to stop any Adobe process that is running.
    2. Click on the following Adobe  link. Go to the bottom where it says "Still having problems?". Click on the version of Flash Player for your browser.

    Adobe has not made a version of Flash for the iPad.

    From System Preferences > Preference Pane click on FlashPlayer > Storage and see what you have selected for options.

         Install Adobe Flash Player.

    Adobe Flash is not available for the iPod touch so there is no way to install it and play games written in Flash.

    Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
    (Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)

    The latest version of Adobe FlashPlayer can be obtained from here:

    You can check here what version of Flash player you actually have installed:  http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/155/tn_15507.html
    You can check here:  http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/about/  to see which version you should install for your Mac and OS. Version 11.0.1.152 onwards is for Lion.
    You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):

    and also that you follow the instructions closely, such as closing ALL applications first before installing. You must also carry out a permission repair after installing anything from Adobe.
