Does Adobe have a Reader version that works on OS X 10.6.8?
I have a new MacBook Pro 10.6.8
I downloaded the latest upgrade for Reader (10.1) and it won't allow me to open any pdf files without accepting the "User License Agreement." When I click "Agree" I get an error message a mile long and cannot go any further.
My issue, I think is that to download the latest Reader you must choose an operating system, and there is no option for OS X 10.6.8. it only goes up to 10.6.7.
Is there any resolution to this? I can use preview for most pdf files, but not for numerous online files.
I've been surfing the forums and have seen similar cases, but not one that addresses the latest operating system...

I am aware of the fonts that you mentioned, but they each have a drawback for me, for example, there is no bold italic for Gentium etc.
Given the high quality of Adobe fonts I was hoping that i could find out if they have one that works.

Does anyone have a bluetooth receiver that works with iPod Hi-Fi?
I'm hoping to make my iPod Hi-Fi Bluetooth compatable. I purchased one and it didn't work.
Any suggestions?I wear hearing aids and use the iphone 5 to control them. it does not have a 30 pin but the newer smaller usb. So far I have not been able to find some kind of receiver that will transmit or input audio back into the iphone. There are guitar applications, but nothing for "line in" of mp3 shuffle type audio. my riding instructor has an fm unit and students simply wear earphones. Because of my hearing loss and the bulky "behind the ear" aids, I cannot do that. My phone plays its music and phone calls directly into my aids, much like phones do for "jawbone" type hands free. But I need an auxiliary input to feed my instructor's voice into my aids. Any suggestions, that won't cost an additional $100+?

On my main hard drive I have been trying to reinstall CS4 but the process just stalls out with no error message. On my second hard drive when I click on any CS4 application, I get a message that "licensing for this product has expired" or something close to that. My second hard drive doesn't have any OS (Long story) but Apple is sending me an older OS that might run the License repair program. I was thinking the license repair program might fix why the reinstallation isn't working on my main (Yosemite) hard drive, but that's just a wild guess. I have always had problems with the CS4 Production Premium but Adobe has, through hours on the phone, figured out how to get me going again. With luck, maybe the older OS that apple is sending me will be able to run the license repair program on my second hard drive and I'll be able to use cs4 off that drive. Thanks for your reply. Trying to Install Photoshop CS2, which I bought several years ago, on a new computer with Windows 8.1? Adobe uploaded me a version that it says doesn't require activation, but it doesn't work!
Your advice to use the serial number provided by Adobe is right on point.
The only thing special I've done that's not typical is that I have UAC disabled, which does serve to make a system more compatible with older software (and with old geeks like me who prefer to be full-time admins).
When I installed Photoshop CS2, it just went in and worked. I didn't think twice about it.

I have students saveing their work as PDF file and turning them in electronically. Then I grade them online and make notes on paper. Does Adobe have a tool of product that can read the PDF file and allow teachers to make notes, sketchesm, etc.. to grade and give feedback to a student electronically?

Our organization uses an Oracle database hosted on a Unix platform and one of our data processing outputs is a “stuffer” document that has a barcode, and Unix jobs automatically send the document to a printer.
Is there a way, or does Adobe have a product or solution, to create a PDF version of the document including the barcode, before it’s sent to a printer?What format is the document that is printed? Or what technology is used to format the printer? There isn't a standard way of doing things in Unix.

tracyYou can select 5 (or more images) and place them by dragging in Adobe InDesign. After creating document go to File > Place, navigate to images and select them. In InDesign start dragging and press right arrow key couple of times then release mouse button. You can export file as PDF, JPG, PNG image from File > Export.

10.5.8 is the highest OSX it can run.
TenFourFox is the most up to date browser for our PPCs, they even have G4 & G5 optimized versions...

iTunes is shipped with a "helper application" called the "iPod Service" that runs and is used by iTunes to communicate with the iPod device. This service may be disabled.
If your system is Microsoft Windows XP and you are logged in as an Administrator:
1. Quit iTunes and, if your iPod is currently connected to your computer, safely remove it using the system tray application to manage removable devices.
2. Right click on "My Computer"
3. Select "Manage"
4. In the "Computer Management" window, left pane (tree view), follow this path:
+Computer Management (local) > Services and Applications > Services+.
5. In the right pane, scroll down to "iPod Service" and double click it.
6. If the service is listed as "Disabled" and "Stopped," change to "Manual" and "Start" it. ("Manual" will cause it to start when iTunes starts and "Start" starts the service right now.)
7. Close "Computer Management"
8. Restart iTunes and wait for it to completely come up.
9. Reconnect your iPod.

I recently purchased a Nikon P7800 camera. I am using a MacBook Pro computer and Adobe Photoshop CS6. Does Adobe have a plug-in/update that will allow me to open the camera raw files? If they do where do I find it to install it?
What version of Camera Raw are you currently using? You need at least version 8.3 but the latest version is 9.

I have this (or a similar) issue and I did notice something interesting. After I boot into Windows via Bootcamp (where I have the U3014 specfic driver installed) and then reboot into MacOS X (Mavericks) the monitor works flawlessly.
I would hazard a guess that this means bootcamp is retaining the driver used in Windows. Kind of the reverse of the TB GBE adapter driver issue.
To explain my issue for anyone else: the monitor flicks on and off as if the connection was poor. Connecting via HDMI. Connection is fine and as stated, everything works fine in Bootcamp. -
