Thank you for taking the time out to reply Ellis.
I am aware of the fonts that you mentioned, but they each have a drawback for me, for example, there is no bold italic for Gentium etc.
Given the high quality of Adobe fonts I was hoping that i could find out if they have one that works.

Does Adobe have a Reader version that works on OS X 10.6.8?
I have a new MacBook Pro 10.6.8
I downloaded the latest upgrade for Reader (10.1) and it won't allow me to open any pdf files without accepting the "User License Agreement." When I click "Agree" I get an error message a mile long and cannot go any further.
My issue, I think is that to download the latest Reader you must choose an operating system, and there is no option for OS X 10.6.8. it only goes up to 10.6.7.
Is there any resolution to this? I can use preview for most pdf files, but not for numerous online files.
I've been surfing the forums and have seen similar cases, but not one that addresses the latest operating system...

Our organization uses an Oracle database hosted on a Unix platform and one of our data processing outputs is a “stuffer” document that has a barcode, and Unix jobs automatically send the document to a printer.
Is there a way, or does Adobe have a product or solution, to create a PDF version of the document including the barcode, before it’s sent to a printer?What format is the document that is printed? Or what technology is used to format the printer? There isn't a standard way of doing things in Unix.

On my main hard drive I have been trying to reinstall CS4 but the process just stalls out with no error message. On my second hard drive when I click on any CS4 application, I get a message that "licensing for this product has expired" or something close to that. My second hard drive doesn't have any OS (Long story) but Apple is sending me an older OS that might run the License repair program. I was thinking the license repair program might fix why the reinstallation isn't working on my main (Yosemite) hard drive, but that's just a wild guess. I have always had problems with the CS4 Production Premium but Adobe has, through hours on the phone, figured out how to get me going again. With luck, maybe the older OS that apple is sending me will be able to run the license repair program on my second hard drive and I'll be able to use cs4 off that drive. Thanks for your reply. I have an Intel based iMac that has just developed two small spots on the screen - they look light brighter spots on the screen. One 1/8" circle at bottom right and a tiny circle at top right. The fading on and off light on area surrounding the screen isn't working anymore either. Has anyone else had similar problems? Any solutions? Thanks!
One way to test is to Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, Test for problem in Safe Mode...
PS. Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive
Reboot, test again.
If it only does it in Regular Boot, then it could be some hardware problem like Video card, (Quartz is turned off in Safe Mode), or Airport, or some USB or Firewire device, or 3rd party add-on, Check System Preferences>Accounts>Login Items window to see if it or something relevant is listed.
Check the System Preferences>Other Row, for 3rd party Pref Panes.
Also look in these if they exist, some are invisible...

I have students saveing their work as PDF file and turning them in electronically. Then I grade them online and make notes on paper. Does Adobe have a tool of product that can read the PDF file and allow teachers to make notes, sketchesm, etc.. to grade and give feedback to a student electronically?

tracyYou can select 5 (or more images) and place them by dragging in Adobe InDesign. After creating document go to File > Place, navigate to images and select them. In InDesign start dragging and press right arrow key couple of times then release mouse button. You can export file as PDF, JPG, PNG image from File > Export.

iCloud will not work with your computer because iCloud requires Lion. Lion requires an Intel Core 2 Duo processor or better. For you to have iCloud and PhotoStream you would need to buy a newer Mac Intel model meeting the requirements for Lion:

I think you probably mean that you are now a member of Creative Cloud and that you've just downloaded InDesign CC 2014. (If I'm incorrect, just let me know.)

The vector files are stored as SVG files which InDesign cannot place. However, you can open them in Illustrator CC and save them as Illustrator AI files which can be placed into InDesign or copied to InDesign.

Does Adobe have plan to support outgoing HTTPS reuqests

It looks like on AMS it's not possible to make an HTTPS request at all. I tried with XML class and LoadVars class. It looks like AMS is not even trying to make any connection when the URL has HTTPS:// on it. The online references I was able to find indicate that it's not supported in AMS. If I am not wrong, Does Adobe have any plan to support this in future?

An authoritative answer to your question requires access to and revelation of "insider" as well as "forward looking" information...both of which are forbidden on this site. Rather, all that can be said is individual opinion and theory. But, based on how things have migrated with BB10, my opinion is that the answer is no.
Note, please, that there is a vast difference in pricing in different regions of the world. For example, in my country, a BIS plan costs significantly more than the non-BIS plans, making BB10 devices much more affordable (from the monthly cost perspective) than legacy devices that required BIS.

What version of Camera Raw are you currently using? You need at least version 8.3 but the latest version is 9.
