Does Adobe offer a mobile app for editing PDFs?

I'M looking for a mobile app that can be used on a Chromebook or iPad that provides the PDF editing functions offered by Acrobat.  Does Adobe offer such a product?  If not, what do you recommend from the currently available apps.

AFAIK, no.

  • Does Adobe provide a free API for creating PDF files

Does Adobe provide a free API (for Windows) for creating PDF files?   We are currently using
a basic, internally developed API for creating PDF files, but would like some additional
capabilities ... in particular the ability to add a watermark that appears when printing
but not when viewing PDF files on-line.
If this is not the right forum for this question, please let me know what forum would be
    appropriate.
    Thanks,
    Mark

OK, with a little bit of searching on Adobe's web site, I found the answer to my question.   Yes, Adobe does offer
an API for creating/manipulating/reading PDF files:  it's called the Adobe PDF Library SDK and it has to be
licensed.  Version 9 is the latest.   The cost is decided on a case-by-case basis.    Here is the link:

  • Does Adobe offer an offline installer for the entire Creative Suite of Applications?

I am a new Admin and I would like to download all the apps one time and install them for my licensed users. Our bandwidth is full enough that multiple downloads could cripple it for the duration of the downloads.

I found the answer to this question. The Creative Cloud Packager is doing what I want it to do. I was having trouble opening the download tools with my Google Chrome, but when I switched to IE 11 everything started working properly.

  • I have BlackBerry Z10. does Firefox have a mobile app for it?

    See question

You can sideload it but it needs some serious work. It's a little laggy in my opinion. At first I thought it was just because of the old Android runtime in 10.1 but then I got a couple of friends to let me try it on their Android devices and it was just as bad. Maybe with the latest update it got improved but I dunno. Maybe it's because they've been busy working on their mobile OS rather than fixing both the mobile and desktop versions of FF.
I believe this is the latest version of FF Mobile. v.23.0 [mod no links to random binaries, use ftp.mozilla.org]
They got blown out of the water by Chrome and Opera and they barely pushed past Internet Explorer in benchmarks. They have to get their stuff together. Been a hardcore FF user since 2005 or so. I hate seeing these watered down excuses for browsers beat them so hard.

  • App for Editing PDF documents

I use PDF's in event planning and I was wondering what app is best to use to draw schematics over the PDF document and be able to email it out to all participants in the meeting at the conclusion.

There are a number of PDF apps which allow annotations, including drawing. I have iAnnotate PDF which has a very robust set of editing, annotating and drawing tools, and Expert PDF, which has a simpler interface. Both allow emailing PDFs.

  • Why no mobile apps for Photoshop for Android products?

Why did Adobe only make mobile apps for Apple iPhone and iPad and not android for Photoshop CC and Lightroom?  I have an Android phone and pad and feel this is unjust as I pay for this service in my monthly bill: seems more than unfair and unjust to me. Is anything being done to correct this upside down situation?

I have that App on my Android.  Unfortunately it doesn’t interact with Photoshop CC 2014 or Lightroom as the one Adobe made for the iPhone and iPad.  I wish it did.  Besides, we ARE paying for the use of an unusable app.  I, personally, feel like Adobe is being prejudice and I don’t like that.
Sorry I don’t know how to answer this on the forums.  I looked but could not see anything or anyplace I could post.

  • Does Adobe offer an app to perform a batch conversion from Canon CR.2 raw files to TIFF files?

Apply Adobe Photoshop to astrophotography requires numerous images to be converted from a raw CR.2 file to TIFF files. Does Adobe offer an app to perform a batch conversion from Canon CR.2 raw files to TIFF files?
    Thanks.

Personally, I'd be nervous of batch processing RAW files because they can need significantly different treatments file to file, but it is doable.  I would assume that Image Processor would allow the XML sidecar files, so you would have the option of looking through and fine tuning any files that were not up to scratch.
You do not need to use that option.   There are two other options.   If the RAW file has never been process by ACR then ACR would use your defaults for the cameras used no ACR dialog UI will display.  If the RAW file has been process by ACR there are ACR settings either in you ACR database or in your RAW files sidecar files in the same folder as the raw file these will be used.
I will often use the Bridge to process groups of RAW image files that look like they have similar exposures looking at the thumbnails the bridge displays.  ACR will open for the group of RAW files.  I will process one RAW file and sync the settings to the other image in the group.   I may also  make other ACR setting for some in the group like crops or spot healing for dust that may be in some sykes  because my sensor needed cleaning. When I'm done all I do is click on the DONE button in ACR so it will save out ACR setting for all the raw files in the group.  No image files are saved.   When I use the image processor script I never use the open first RAW option and the Automate Image Processor Pro plug-in script does not have that option open first RAW  in ACR and use the setting set for all other RAW files..

  • Adobe mobile apps for Android?

Does anyone know if or when Adobe will develop more mobile apps for Android?
There are so many mobile touch apps for iOS but only a hand full for Android.

I love the idea of a discount for Android users ... we are paying the same subscription fees for far less service.  Tweet Adobe...
@creativecloud U should give Android users a monthly discount until your mobile app collection for @Android matches your iOS collection. :-/
    another tweet:
@creativecloud my monthly @Android subscription $$ is getting far less service than @appleios subscription $$. horrible @Adobe . horrible.

  • Flex mobile app for Kindle Fire?  is it possible?

Hi, I read this in the kindle amazon developer faq, is it possible to develop Flex 4.6 mobile apps for Kindle fire?  even thought it doesn't show up in the
    list of devices?
any Gotcha's I need to look out for?
Is Adobe AIR pre-installed on Kindle Fire?
Yes, developers can publish Adobe AIR 3 applications for the Kindle Fire by packaging them as ‘captive runtime’ applications. However, these captive runtime applications will not support on-device debugging.
