Does Alpha Conversion work in new Release(SP14-16)?

Hi guys,
we have problem with Alpha conversion:
we have an InfoObjekt, which includes an alpha conversion, but error occur with data loading in BI, when we have data value like "123", it can not be converted to "000123". Instead that, an error occurs and the data can not be loaded, we have to manuell change this value and then load...
Is this because of new release (we have this new release since Feburar 2008)?
Any hint is appriciated.

Yes, it does work still.
Make sure that in the infosource (transfer rule), that the conversion flag is set for the infoObject.

I have an alpha conversion in an infoObjekt, and this infoObjekt is used in one inforsource, and I have set the check box "conversion" in the transfer rule, but the alpha conversion didn't work.
But when I call 'CONVERSION_EXIT_ALPHA_INPUT' in this field routine, it works...
I can not figur out the reason, please help me.

I have heard that MS Word app won't work on new Lion OS? Is that correct? Are there other programs that won't work as well?

Yes, it does work with the new iPad. I find APPLE TV to be a great investment. Unfortunately, it does not come with an HDMI cable. You can buy one for cheap though. I think Apple sells one. AirPlay is great!

Does 'menu' button work with new 2G Nano?

I have a new 2G Nano and a new HiFi. The Nano has been updated and so has iTunes to the latest firmware/software versions.
The 'Menu' button has never worked on the remote. The Hi-Fi flashes orange when it is pressed. All other functions work fine, just the menu button does not work on the remote.
Does the menu button work with the 2G new Nano?

Note: The Menu button on the remote does not perform the same function as pressing the Menu button on the iPod. The Menu button on the Remote changes playback between the iPod and an audio device connected to the audio input port. Because the remote does not have a wheel or a select button, you cannot use the remote to navigate the menus or skip to a different playlist on iPod. You must use the iPod's controls to navigate the menus or choose another playlist.

How does FCE upgrade work for new machines

I currently have a iMac G4 that I use FCE 2 on. I want to upgrade to FCE 3.5 HD which I see no problem with doing. I am also thinking about upgrading my hardware to a new Intel based iMac someday. Will I be able to use the upgrade FCE 3.5 software and the serial numbers from my FCE 2 to install on the newer hardware?
I guess I don't see why not but thought I whould ask before making the purchase.

How does currency conversion work?

I am confused. Do we need to enter the exchange rate every time we do a data load/currency conversion, manually. or is it taken care automatically and pulled from web through some tables.
please explain.

We pull the conversion rates once every day. Depending on your needs you can schedule it once a day or n times a day at different intervals. We ususally pull from the R3 tables and they get updated once a day.

New release strategy / Old PReqs

Hi,
New release strategy has been configured to be active only for purchase requisitions with account assignment cat. F (PReqs coming from work order). In the other words every time when Preq is automatically created from work order new release strategy comes up. So far so good.
But problem appears when user opens old work order where Service Purchase Requisition exist with old release strategy. After saving work order, without making any changes, new release strategy comes up and Preq status changes from 'Release Completed' to 'In Release'.
Do you know what causes mentioned system behavior? Why release strategy is changed only for old service Preqs not for Preqs which contains non stock components?

Hi,
Release strategy will trigger for creating and chenging the PR. If you want to restrict the PR release strategy for change mode, create (select if any one is there) authorization object for PR change mode in SU22. Create a role in PFCG and assign the authorization object to this. In SU01 assign this role to users or group of users. This will resolve your issue. But when you want to change the PR and retrigger the release strategy means won;t work out. In your case after going to change mode and saving the release strategy triggered. Its a sap standard behaviour. If you want to see PR goto ME53N instead of ME52N. If you goto ME52N Don't select save button if no changes are there. Ultimately no new release strategy will trigger. I hope this will resolve your issue. Thanking you.

Did anyone download itunes new release 6/7/13?

Just received a new release for itunes. After the printing jewel case problem for months I really hesitate downloading any release. Does anyone know what the new release is updating?

The new features information appears to be just duplicated from 11.0.3. Whether problems with printing have been addressed I haven't seen reports on yet. Perhaps someone else here who has had printing issue can say.

The plugin shows on the list as enabled and functioning, yet the tool does not show on the toolbar. It would appear that I need to restore the previous version of Firefox and wait until a newer release of the plugin is available before upgrading the browser.

I copied the iTunes file from the external drive and it's in both places. I thought all I would need is the iTunes program (which I downloaded to new computer) and my iTunes library file. There must be something else that's missing. My iTunes library looks the same on the new computer as it does when I open it on the external drive. If I click on an iTunes library song from my new computer, it will only play if I have the external drive plugged in.
My back-up drive is a mess. I have multiple copies of music, video, photo, and document files and I don't know how that happened. ={ Obviously, I don't know how to back up stuff properly and there are back-up files extending over a 6- to 8-year period. I think all I did was just drag and drop the main folders from the back-up drive to the same main folders on the C: drive. Also (and I'm kind of fuzzy on this) Windows used to automatically save music files in a folder within my document files (which makes no sense to me). As my Jewish friends would say, "Oy Vey!"

Hi, first disable this POLSTORE.DLL again in your QuickVPN-Folder. Then start in this folder IPSEC.MSC and than IPSEC.EXE. You should get from IPSEC.EXE the error above. If not, than any other problem you have. Follow all the hints here in this thread.
If you get the same error above, than enable this POLSTORE.DLL again and start the IPSEC.EXE. You get the full info what has been gone. And within the IPSEC-Window for Local Computer you may find this FREESWAN-setting.
B.t.w. before I went this way I did export and import the IPSEC-settings from the XP-machine, as it was hinted some posts earlyer. But the way I have gone, works also with manualy deleting the FREESWAN config. With the IPSEC.EXE it will new generated in any case.
When you start via QuickVPN you may monitor also what happens within this IPSEC for Local Computer. Press F5 to keep it aktual.
From time to time the connection gets only succeeded after the second and more times. I have a very slow UMTS Internet-Access.

There is another discussion of this problem under "can't print cd jewel case inserts"--about 20 people on that page have the same problem.--I have a "band-aid" fix for anyone is in a hurry. When you go to print, choose the option "large playlist" (I think it is the last option). You can then print at least the songs that are on the playlist. Then, you can print a mosaic copy to get the album art work. Then you get out the scotch tape & tape them together! This is UNACCEPTABLE but it will do in a pinch. Someone on the other page suggests we all write in "itunes" feedback & complain.

home sharing does not work with new mountain lion update. Does anyone else have the same issue. Updated all computers in my home, deauthorized and reauthorized each computer. turn off home sharing and turned it back on. don't know what else to do..please help...

Our Apple TVs continue to lose connection ever since installing Mountain Lion on the host computer. The only thing that fixes them is to quit and relaunch iTunes, which only works unti the ATV goes to sleep. If a movie is paused for more than a few minutes and the ATV goes to sleep, pressing play again on the remote is greeted with "There are no movies on this computer" or "Turn on Home Sharing."
If we stop a video on one ATV and attempt to resume it in another room, the error begins again. The other ATV can't connect until iTunes is relaunched.
My guess is that it has something to do with the new [annoying] security settings. But I still haven't found a fix other than restarting iTunes everytime we want to watch something from our downloads. Fail.
