Does an iPhone 4s or 5 have all radios in it?

Is an unlocked iPhone 4s or 5 truly capable of working on all networks??? I am currently a Verizon customer and while they are the best carrier in my current market AT&T and T-Mobile both have markets where they are much better than VZW. Also, I have just about had it with VZW nickel and diming me every time I turn around!!! VZW might be the best carrier in the Southeast US from a network standpoint but they are the worst on cost and shenanigans. Buying an unlocked cell phone that does not work on ALL PLATFORMS is like buying a new car that will only work with Shell gasoline.
So, if I buy an unlocked iPhone 5 can I activate it on a CDMA or GSM network with T-Mobile, AT&T or VZW (or God forbid Sprint...the worst of the four in every market)?
On another note, I had one of the original iPhone 5s when they came out and had the time sync problem so I returned it; have they fixed the time sync issue yet???

I understand that some of the discounters like Walmart are reselling several packages, one of which is called "Straight Talk." One of these is a repackaged VZW service I am told. Would a Verizon 4s work on the Walmart version of the VZW service? I suspect VZW has implemented something to keep folks from bailing on the more expensive VZW direct in favor of the generic VZW service.
The more I think through this the more I dislike VZW! The devil you get with AT&T or T-Mobile is dropped calls and spotty coverage in some places but you can always take your expensive device and go to another GSM provider; VZW on the otherhand is painting customers in a corner with abusive business practices and crazy fees.
Wish there was a carrier with a robust network and a reasonable set of business practices, they would have all the business!

My phone had about 250-300MB of free space. Then, I synched it with my computer. It said I had to delete some stuff because it didnt have enough room to synch. So I deleted about 1GB of apps, and as part of the synch, I updated 2 apps that were around 50MB combined. Keep in mind these are basically replacing apps that were already on the phone. Now, it still says I dont have enough room to put them on my phone, and iTunes is telling me I am 314MB over capacity. If it all fit on there before, and I only put 50MB on there but I took 1GB off, how is this possible? I have an iPhone 5 and the latest version of iTunes.

Check the manual for whatever backup program you used, or, if you just copied the files over, copy them that.

The same AppleID, yes. For email specifially, only if you wish to receieve email from the same accounts on both devices.
If you didn't set up the AppleID when you initailly set up the Phone, you will need to go to the following (in the setting app) and set it manually:
iCloud > Account
Mail, Contacts,Calendar > Accounts (for email, Notes, Caledars, etc.)
Messages > Send&Receive
FaceTime
iTunes&App Store
Game Center (if you are using it)

I have lost all data on my iphone by mistake. I needed to restore the phone and I didnt realize my back-up was 1yr old, and now the phone is restored and I've got a year old contact list and iMessage chat history. Luckily my iMessage on the Mac is still valid and has all the chat history. My question is how can I restore iMessage chats on my iPhone 4 from my Mac? I have all the chat history on my Mac, but there seems to be no sync function from Mac to iphone. Please advice.

If things seem to be going haywire with your phone, it seems that it MAY be a software issue.
Now, that being said, that does not necessarily mean that it is a virus. Software issues do happen sometimes. It is probably just coincidence.
What you need to do is restore the device using iTunes. This will fix any software issues. After you have done this, you can restore from an iCloud backup.
iCloud does not back up the actual software, so no, the "virus" would not have gotten into the backups.

I would not suggest starting anew AppleID as you will have problems with previous purchases.

Because it is part of your old AppleID (and your library does not just magically appear).
Did you make a backup of your HD?

Authorize your computer for your old AppleID then File > Devices, select your device then Transfer purchases.
I highly suggest you sort out the issue with your old AppleID and continue to use that. Remove your personal info from the new AppleID and don't use it.

Sounds like you purchased a phone that as physically broken.
If the phone wasn't tampered with by you or a previous owner, you may be able to get an out of warranty replacement from Apple for $149. Make an appointment at the genius bar and find out.

You will notice that in "My Pictures" folder you have a new folder called photostream. In photostream folder you will have another folder called "Upload" Anything you put in the "upload" folder will go to your phone and ipad. So just copy pics you want into that folder and they will go into photostream. I would not suggest moving them since I am not sure how it works on windows but there is a chance photostream might empty out the folder after 30 days.
On mac it automatically saves originals..

After reading the iPhone manual on-line, I did not see direct support for a "Random Play All" option.
Please tell me that this was an omission in the manual and it is directly supported by the iPhone, because this is a deal breaker for our family if it is not directly suported.

I recieved a new iPhone4 today because my other one had to get replaced due to water damage and 25 minutes later my phone says "No Service" in the top left hand corner. My first thought was to reset my phone. I turned it off and then turned it back on and then it wouldnt let me do anything untill i connected it to my laptop. I synced it to my laptop and it still says "No Service". It wont allow me to Call, Text, Recieve messages, Or even get on wifi. I have no idea what to do..

The "other" data normally contains the iOS, messages, email, app data and should be 1.5 - 3 GB max. Unless you have a massive number of messages on the phone, this is corrupted data.
The only way to get rid of it is to restore the phone with iTunes. First, also restore a backup, but the backup may contain the corrupted data in which case you'll have to restore as a new phone. See these support articles:
