Does any know if there is a reset button on the transitioning 4? Computer says everything is fine.

In transitioning to Windows 7, I ran into a lot of problems with my LasarJet 4 and my All-in-one 1610.  Got the 1610 finally straight, but I still cannot print using the Jet 4.  Computer tells me that the jobs have been sent to the LasarJet 4 printing queue, then in opening the printers from Control Panel, I am told that there is a problem, but it doesn't tell me what.  The only way out if to delete all the jobs waiting in the queue.

It appears there is not communication between the computer and printer.  Try downloading the HP Print Diagnostic Utility from HP here.  Does this provide any help?  
If not let's check the port settings manually:  click Start, Devices and Printers, right click on the Laserjet 4 and select Printer Properties.  Now click on the Ports tab.  The USB-parallel converter will typically use a port like USB001: or USB002:.What is the port setting?  If there is a higher numbered USBnnn: port try seelcting this and then printing a test page.

    I am the Video Coordinator at Samford University and have found the quality of video capture on the iPad 4 AMAZING, however I need to convert all my files through a canopus in order to Capture and Cut live like I do with a regular video camera. I can get the tripod and mount for the iPad, I was just wondering if anybody knows exactly how/if there is a way to connect to the canopus from an iPad.

    I'm a bit vague about what it is you wish to accomplish. Are you trying to capture video through an external box? If so, that's not posssible with any of the Canopus boxes I'm familar with. In fact I don't know of any external video capture solution that works with an iPad, though I can't state definitively that none exist.  I really don't think an iPad would be well suited for this even if it's possible. I'd strongly suggest you look into a MacBook Air or one of the current MacBook Pros. Those are far better suited for on-the-fly video capture and editing.
    If that's not what you mean, please post back and explain further what it is you wish to accomplish.

    Of course I am asking because when you use a filter on the iphone, then import to Aperture, it does not save your edited image. Unless someone knows a fix for that?

    When you connect the iphone to usb the current contents of the Camera Roll will be transfererd. That does not show the edzts done later.
    You have to save the edited image on your iPhone back to the Camera roll - edit a copy of the photo and then save the edted version to the camera roll or share it to the Photo Stream. Then you can transfer the edited image.  I use iPhoto for iOS on the iPhone and iPad to share edited images to the camera roll.
    When you connect the iPhone to the mac and download the camera roll, the edited versions you saved to the camera roll will also be transferred.
    The Filters applied in the Camera App are handled well by Aperture work with the lossless workflow. They are showing in the Adjustment tab as "iPhoto Edits" and can be toggled on and off:

    Nope, this only changes it to black and magenta.  I wsh I could find it again, it's there I promise.. There is a whole list of colors, I changed it to red and want to see if black is better.  Just don't care for all the blue..

    This is not a huge problem, but it is annoying.  I have 8 gig of ram and a nvidia NX8600Gt vid card - never had problems in CS5.5 and expected CS6 to be better, but it is not.  Am I the only one experiencing this problem?

    The normal suspect is the video card driver.  CS6 puts a lot more demands on video card.  Make sure driver is current, and keep looking for latest updates.

    Also, if you have Lion on the computer. You have a recovery partition on the drive. On startup hold down 'Control' to bring up your startup menu. Select "Recovery HD". That's how you get to it. Lion's recovery partition acts as the installation discs that came with all previous versions of OS X.

    Thank you. I put it in airplane mode like you suggested, but it looks to me like all the applications and ads are still running. Anyway, I'm just gonna play when I'm really really bored and use them as less as possible. Thank you again for your quick answer.

         Does anyone know if there's any way to find out what files in my Library I can delete? I just cleaned off my HD onto a media drive as a back up so all my movies documents and photos are gone but my Library seems to be a huge space hog eating sixty gigs of space and I do have alot of apps but they don't take up a third of that space... Any ideas how I can figure out what is wasting all this space? I had Spring Cleaning once but found it to be rather confusing as to what was essential to the OS and what not...

    Get free OmniDisk Sweeper. I can't imagine how you could have sixty GB in that folder. My entire ~Library isn't even 1GB. Are you sure you're not talking about your entire Home folder?
    Can you post a screenshot of the contents of that folder.
    Check again. Are you sure you moved all the Movies etc. out? Could have left duplicates of everything behind when you did this.
