Does any one know how to get smileys for Facebook on the mac,, i see people using them all the time and don't know how to do it,,,

I know this is a bit of a strange question, but i have seen people using the smileys on face book, but every time i try to get them they dont work, i was just wondering if any one knew how, i thought i would put it on here as i have got a lot of helpful tips on here for alot of problems and you guys know what you are talking about,,,

smileys are a sequence of chars like ;-¶ which the internet site or program like a chat program replace with an image typically a small gif image
is your problem that you want to save those images to your harddisk?
is your problem that you wish some other program then facebook to replace the smiley chars with the images that facebook use?
is your problem that when you type on facebook your smileys are not replaced with the same images as others (in which case you should prob as which signs they type)

P.S: For the iphone 4S. is there any difference for the one from online shop or the actual store?

iPhones purchased from the online Apple Store in Australia will be unlocked. To the best of my knowledge, unlocked iPhone are not available from the physical Apple Stores at this time, though you can call the Apple Store in Melbourne and inquire.
Note that the warranty on iPhones is not international, so if you purchase an iPhone in Australia and it needs service, you would have to ship the iPhone to someone in Australia to take or send to Apple for service and then ship it back to you.

All apps on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch should be in your iTunes library on your computer.
You can re-download all 3rd party apps and you won't be charged again for a purchased app as long as you use the same iTunes account to re-download the apps that was used to purchase the app originally.

Do this with iTunes on your computer. After you have re-downloaded every app one by one, select Sync Apps under the Apps tab for the device's sync preferences along with selecting the apps below that you want transferred to the device followed by a sync to re-install the apps on the device.

Anyone still up? I just purchased from the itunes store for the first time, and don't know how to get them downloaded to my ipod.

Sigh.....really late and I want to go to sleep, but I just purchased some Itunes online for the first time, and I don't know how to download them to my ipod. It should keep asking for the password, because it's trying to check for purchases... As soon as you login, it will see you have pending downloads and create the downloads section on the left below Purchases under the Store section. Then it will start the music downloads there, as they will be listed one below the other.
You could just try to check your account balance or view your account and that will trigger a password request too. You can just click on that and say that now iTunes keeps asking for the password and ask him to help you with that. Trick would be to interrupt him so that he carries on with another task after, so he doesn't notice the download. Or you carry on with email or browsing which you were "busy" with when iTunes interrupted you for the password (stupid iTunes)

Do you mean delete the music from your phone, or copy the purchases over to your computer's iTunes ?
If delete then you can enable the left-hand sidebar that used to show automatically on previous versions via option-command-S on a Mac, control-S on a PC - you can then select the Music category under the phone 'device' on that sidebar and use the right-hand side to select and delete music from it.
If you want to copy your iTunes purchases over to your computer's iTunes then File > Devices > Transfer Purchases should copy them over (if you are using a PC and the drop-down menus aren't showing then control-B should get them to do so)

Bought a used HP Coler Laserjet 4700N and don't know how to hook up.

I just bought a HP Color Laserjet 4700n printer from a place that just sold out. I didn't any cords to connect it to my Del Dimensions E520 couputer. I am just a computer user and connecting this printer sounds a bit complicated. I didn't get any maintenance or usage books when I bought it. So I'm very confused about drivers, and how the heck to get my computer to recognize this printer. Can anyone guide me thru it?

Thank you for the response, however, I'm pretty disappointed. Why are you guys failing to make headsets the work well with soundcards? I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be rude to you in general, but I'm just pretty unhappy with the late line of USB headsets. Defeats the purpose of us having soundcards at all, and we don't get as good of sound. Guess I'll be RMAing this headset.

If you buy something from, say Best Buy, Sears or Home Depot and take it back for a refund, can you still use it? Once you delete it and receive a refund, you no longer own it, cannot use it and if it has been deleted, you shouldn't receive any update notices for it.
If you have deleted the app and received a refund for it, I don't know of anything that will prevent you from purchasing and downloading it again. The key here being "purchasing again". However, you might want to make sure you really want it before you do, you will probably have a more difficult time convincing Apple to give another refund on the same app. But if you re-download and purchase it again, you would be able to update it normally.

You may have multiple coinciding Anchor Points at (at least) one path end. You may Direct Select the (top) Anchor Point and move it a little (preferably by a specific value) to see whether something hidden shows up; you can just Undo or move it back.
Depending on version you may also (try to) just normally Select the two paths and Cmd+J.

TS3274 This is about screen orientation. The screen switches from vertical to horizontal by itself and no matter how I move the screen it doesn't work correctly. Very frustrating and don't know what to do.
