Does any understand "interpretation rules.txt" so my 704x576 pixels fill a 720x576 frame?

This is my LAST attempt before ditching Premiere Elements 8 Trial. I have really tried hard to make it work.
All I want to do is drag my clips onto the timeline and have them corretly fill the 720x576 frame (PAL widescreen), ready to export to DVD (PAL) when ready.
Adobe explains a little on how to go about fixing it, but I can't get it to work:

I tried to add to "interpretation rules.txt": 704, 576, *, *, * = 768/720, *, *, *
I also tried: 704, 576, *, *, * = 768/702, *, *, *
When I drag my 704x576 footage to the timeline I'm still asked, "Fix quality problems in clips", but I'm expecting it to automatically display the clip to fit the 720x576 frame now that the rule has been added.
- If I say YES the video is clipped at the top & bottom and isn't so nice.
- If I say NO I get black borders at the sides and the aspect is wrong.
If I use another package Womble MPEG, it all appears the correct aspect, exports to DVD and plays without any settings. I want to use Premiere!!!!
PLEASE HELP!
System Spec:
- Intel i7 2.8ghz 860 Quad core, Nvidia GT220 graphics card with 1GB memory, 4gb memory
- Windows 7 pro 64 bit (Windows expeirence index is 6.5 out of 7.5)
- latest video driver updated to 8.17.11.9675 (21/02/2010)
- Currently running on PE8 Trial.
- System disk: 37gb free (Intel X25-M solid state 80gb SATA2 disk), project/cache drive: 884gb free (SEAGATE 1.5TB Barracuda 7200RPM)

Googling 'stretch video height' throws up this that might do what you want (note that it is a commercial product).

I'm working for a German broadcaster with numerous Adobe workstations. Unfortunately our Solutions Engineer from Adobe cound't support us. I hope you guys can help.
We are using "Interpretation Rules.txt" in After Effects for years. Now we want to do the same for Premiere Pro CS6 and Media Encoder CS6.
But sadly it doesn't work the same way. Some files were not interpreted in Premiere Pro. For example:
Avid Meridien Uncompressed (PAL, 720x576) should be 16:9.
I tried:
720, 576, 25, "MooV", "AVUI" = 64/45, U, *, *, *, * - not working
720, 576, 25, "MOoV", * = 64/45, U, *, *, * - not working
720, 576, *, *, * = 64/45, *, *, *, * - not working for these files
What is different between the interpretation in After Effects and Premiere Pro? What's the solution?
Are there interpretaion rules for Adobe Media Encoder?

I have the same problem. I also tried to change "Interpretation rules" without any effect :-(
All my PAL SD Widescreen footage was fimed with my Sony TRV-950E DV-cam and the correct Pixel Aspect Ratio for viewing this is the old PAR 1.42.
I need to add this option to the PAR dropdown list in "Interpret Footage". The only PAR avaliable for PAL D1/DV in that dropdownlist is the new value 1.45 (which unfortunately is not correct for my footage).
Anybody who knows how it can be done to use PAR 1.42 instead of 1.45?

We've just got CS5 and previuosly had CS3.
In CS3 I edited the interpretation rules txt file to cause imported quicktimes to default to PAL ananmorphic as that is what we nearly always use.
If I wanted to do the same to CS5 is it the same text? Can I just copy and paste?

I don't think that the syntax for the entries in that file has changed between CS3 and CS5, so you should be able to copy and paste individual entries between them. I'm typing this at a computer without After Effects installed, so I can't check to be sure, but I'm mostly certain.
Be sure to make a backup copy of the file before you make any changes, just so that you can revert back if something goes wrong.

I would like to modify this file so that all the clips that use the "Canopus DV Codec" (CDVC), will be imported WITHOUT separated fields (Separate fields > OFF)!
In CS4 it worked perfectly, but in CS5 it does not work ...
Can someone tell me how I have to modify the file "interpretation Rules.txt"?

If it's not a 64bit CoDec, it will be handled via specific wrapper code in MediaCore (hence the MC) and that may prevent specific interpretations and settings to work, so there is probably not much you can do. I wouldn't completely rule out a bug, though....

You would have to change the values provided in the file:
original DV rule:
720, 480, 29.97, *, * ~ 648/720, L, *, *, *, *
modified rule:
720, 480, 29.97, *, * ~ 778/648, L, *, *, *, *
The actual values don't matter much, as long as they correctly represent the required ratio, they just need to be whole numbers.

PE7 importing 16/9 files - does the "interpretation rules" file work?

Hello folks,
I'm having the seemingly common problem of importing 16/9 footage which PE assumes is 4:3. I know you can go through the interpret footage malarky but I'd like the process to be as simple as possible - this is for our students to use so any extra steps that can be cut out will be hugely useful.
A big of googling suggested that the "interpretation rules.txt" file in the plug-ins directory could be edited to create new default behaviour. I've added the following line:
720, 576, *, *, * = 64/45, *, *, *
which as far as I can see should set the aspect to be 1.422 (PAL widescreen). But it's made no difference. Is this file just ignored and left over from the full version of Premiere or should PE take notice of what's in there?
The camera is a Canon FS200. Gspot suggests that the file is flagged as being 4:3, which obviously doesn't help matters! It's definately anamorphic widescreen.

Fonts are handled by your operating system and installed through the respective System Control panel (Windows) or Fontbook (Mac). On Windows simply type "Fonts" in the search bar in the start menu and when you open the panel/ folder use File --> Add Font. On Mac the procedures are similar, you just need to find the Fontbook app in Applications:Utilities.

In BW on hana, there's a 3.x flow DSO where it loaded a request from PSA.
It failed due to activation error SID Generation. But unfortunately, due to PSA Deletion process chain, it's PSA Request got deleted.
Now, we couldn't delete the red request(failed request) from the 3.x flow DSO.
If we try to delete, it shows job has been completed successfully with the following message:

I went to the table RSICCONT and checked the mentioned request. But I couldn't find delete option enabled. Even our basis team doesn't have authorization to delete the mentioned request from the standard table RSICCONT.

Hi Antony,
Once you have deleted the data in PSA there is no way to reconstruct the request hence you can do below things to correct it
1) Identify the No of Records which having error , because if you have more records it will take more time as in debug mode we have option to edit only one record at one.
2) Display only one record in Active table and change it using the Debug option ( not recommended ), but as you are in corner we need to use this
3) change the records with respective values and active the request again

DrawString method does not understand special characters

Hi!
I would like to send a String to a printer. I have tried the drawString method but my problem is, that it does not understand special charaters. The newline character is not a problem as I can just use the split method and then print the resulting array of strings.
The big problem is the tab character (\t). Is there any way to make drawString understand this character? Or is there a more simple way to print the text?

Thanks for your replies. I have to admit that the problem was a completely different one, a really stupid one!
The output from the print method looked horrible to say the least (it is basically an array of numbers separated by equals amounts of space). The problem was that the font was not set to be monospaced (!) so you can imagine how the output looked ;)...

That is exactly you need to understand Gateway runtime architecture. Take your time for understanding big picture first, then move to how to setp.
OData model provider class and data provider class are on ERP.
You have to register ERP side OData services on Gateway server as proxy. It is the transaction /iwfnd/maint_service. To select service from ERP backend, you have to specify backend system alias.
Your system environment makes confusions.
+ You have Gateway components on Gateway server but you have also Gateway component on ERP
+ You have registered the OData service on ERP instead of Gateway. It is incorrect setting for Hub deployment.

I'm not sure I understand your reply but when you insert images into Word that are larger than will fit on the page, they are automatically compressed. If you right click and select Size and Position you can restore it to 100% but you will not see all the image.

Siri does't understand me

I have the iPhone 4s and Siri does't understand my voice . I don'T have an accent. I'm in Colorado usa. I tried speaking slowly or with regular speed, with or without background noise, to no avail.
