Does anybody know how to get rid of icudt49.dll without downloading itunes. I have run norton utilities througth but it does not take care of this problem.

    Yep! I got the same thing. (and the failure to launch full screen mentioned elsewhere).

    If you can hide the status bar, it would be an option inside the app. I have one or two apps where that is an option but in most apps it is not.

    The Internet radio in iTunes works because you have an Internet connection.
    Your iPod classic does not have an Internet connection. It's just a media player. Therefore, there is no way to put Internet radio on an iPod classic.
    If you want to play regular (over the air) FM radio on your iPod classic, you can use the iPod radio remote control.

    Does anyone know how to get in touch with iCloud support directly? All iCloud support roads lead to CPU tech support. My stolen MBP finally came online and gave a location but I didn't check my email for a couple days, was sick, and iCloud only displays location map for 24 hours. Desperatly trying to regain the location info. I live in a small town so location info might actually lead to the recovery of my baby.

    Try:
    - Powering off and then back on your router.
    - iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server
    - Change the DNS to either Google's or Open DNS servers
    Public DNS — Google Developers
    OpenDNS IP Addresses
    - For one user uninstalling/reinstalling iTunes resolved the problem
    - Try on another computer/network
    - Wait if it is an Apple problem

    Sorry, but Apple does not provide technical support via email, so they have no published email addresses. You will need to find a way to call them. Or make an appointment with the Genius Bar at an Apple Store, if there are any near you, and have them follow up.

    Apparently, you have set up the same iCloud account on both devices or you are syncing both devices under the same user ID on the same computer and have ended up syncing both of them with the same address book on the computer.

    It sounds like you have hidden the navigation toolbar. To bring it back, in the View menu select Toolbars, then click on "Navigation Toolbar" in the list of toolbars to display it. Active toolbars will have a tick by their name.
    If the menus themselves are missing, press either Alt or F10 to temporarily display the menus. You can then Select View > Toolbars and then click on "Menu Bar" in the list to permanently display it.

  • Scratch on screen - anybody know how to get rid of it?

    I have a deep, but superficial scratch on my Macbook air glossy screen. The scratch is only in the film on top of the LCD display and the hardware underneath is not affected. Does any one know of a polish I could use to get rid of the scratch? I worry about applying abrasive to the film as I fear it may make the problem worse. Anybody know what to do?

    If the scratch is deep, I would leave it be, as most cleaners/polishes won't remove deep scratches. Doing anything could make it worse, leaving it be is the _best option_. If it bugs you too much, you can spring the $200 to replace the screen yourself.

  • Does anyone know how to get rid of Livewire???  PLEASE HELP!!!

    My friend downloaded Livewire to my other Dell PC and it is now a folder in my iTunes sidebar. When I am trying to build new playlists etc they are added as a subfolder under my iPod but when I am trying to download songs to my nano it is only giving me the option to pick playlists that are a subfolder of the Livewire folder. So when I try to update ipod uding the "only checked playlists" option, the options given are subfolders of the Livewire folder and not the playsists I am making that fall under the iPod folder. I tried to remove Livewire from my computer via add/remove fies but is is still in my iTunes. How do I get rid of this??

    I don't know if this will help but when Limewire was downloaded on your computer, along with the desktop icon was the uninstaller for Limewire. You might try it if you still have it somewhere. After you went to add/delete program it might have deleted that, so you may have to download again and then uninstall. Hope this helps. It's Limewire.com and you probably had the basic which there was no cost involved. Good Luck! Irene

    Good afternoon!  I'm glad I can be here to help with this error. In the device this application is identified only as 'Talk', so that be more familiar to you. First I recommend opening the 'Market' app on your phone, then Menu>My Apps to see if this application requires an update. It will display a list on top of all applications that need to be updated. If nothing exists, tap 'Home' and go into 'Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>Talk, then tap 'Clear Cache' and 'Clear Data' to remove the history of that application and stop the notifications.  The app will remain on your phone for future use, if you desire to take advantage of it.   • Does anybody know how to get help with this one?

    Hello there!  
    I wanted to get an advice on how to get in touch with the appropriate person at BT that could help with my situation.
    I have tried telephone help, complaints by email and unfortunately still waiting for somebody from the customer services to help me out.
    I have recently moved home.  I contacted BT on 26th June to organise the line transfer to the new address. The date was set for 18th July. I also ordered line rental saver and paid for it over the phone. All went smooth, telephone and broadband was working fine at the new place, but on the 23rd July I was sent an email that "BT is sorry that I am leaving". 
    I thought it was a mistake, but the lady in the on-line chat said somebody stopped my service. Later she rang and left a message saying that I must have requested to move to another provider. Did not manage to speak to her again, but phoned the help line this time.
    There a gentleman was trying to convince me that I called BT and cancelled my service on the 18th July and to him I was not a BT customer anymore. The truth is that I did not request to stop my service, anyway - why would I do that after paying for a year in advance. This has no logic, but because computer says so then he thinks I did it.
    He also added that my account is a 'mess'. He then promised that somebody would get in touch to sort it out as my line rental was gone and my phone and internet could go off any minute.
    I did not get any help. After that I wrote to them  3 email complaints to request assistance. They called and aknowledge they will help, but 3 weeks down the line nothing was done to explain the situation. Left the messages to the person from email complaints to ring me or email me -never happened.
    Last week I got 2 emails welcoming me to BT and outlining the call plans that were diferent from each other and the one I agreed to on the 25th June. When I called help line 2 days ago a lady confirmed on which one I am on, but could not sort out the most annoying thing - the 'final' bill. 
    I was sent a bill for over 200 pounds due to premature termination of phone and broadband service , which I never ordered. They already took the money this week. My line saver is gone as well. So I am 360 pounds short. I aslo have no access to myBT to monitor my phone activity or make orders.They also did not send any confrimation of the call plan I am currently on.
    It is a very annoying situation, because somebody at BT made an error and I am unable to get to anybody that could help. Everytime you call the help line you speak to somebody else and despite me thinking the email complaints would be the way forward they are not. Would appreciate some advice on how to tackle these issues: false accusations from them, inappropriate billing, problem with myBT.

    1. Double-click the Home button reveal the Task Bar
    2. Hold the Mail icon down for a minute or two until the minus sign appear
