Does anybody like the new iTunes

Is there anybody out there who likes the new iTunes? So far, I've heard nothing but haters. Considering upgrading, but had a not so great experience with the 3G fiasco and had to replace the entire phone. If you LIKE the new 10.0 software, please tell me what your're running and state the best new feature. Mucho gracias!

It's alright so far. People have a hard time coping with change unless it's change in the exact way they want it.
I have noticed it's way faster opening and closing iTunes 10 on my iMac from '06. That's definitely a great thing. The new icon will take some getting used to, but it makes sense to ditch the CD icon, though I do wonder why they still call it iTunes when it handles so many other things besides music.
The loss of color in the sidebar is an interesting decision, but nothing to lose sleep over. It's still easy to find what you're looking for.
I say upgrade. Nobody should spend their time living in the past.

That sounds like the difference between the new Firefox home page '''about:home''' and the previous Google Search page which has '''GMail''' at the top if you used GMail.
You can change your home page so that it points to what you had before, which It would be something like:

But I don't really understand why you or anyone else would want to use such a page for a home page, it is redundant. You have as many search engines as you want in the search bar, the default search is Google.

The rev. F routers have started to appear. They're nothing to get excited about. The wireless-N is not 802.11n-2009 compliant.
Nor do they have gigabit ports.
The rev. G routers which are 802.11n-2009 compliant and have gigabit ports are not in circulation yet.

Yes.
Initially a bit of a learning curve coming from the Bold, but so far great.
Do miss the buttons, but otherwise, OS impressive.
There is work to be done, look forward to OS updates

OK, lots of noise about CC (including from me - not happy!) but I am not seeing anybody making arguments in favour of it. No idea what those arguments would be (unless I were an Adobe executive of course), so I thought I'd start a thread so anybody who wants to express support for Adobe's move can do so...

I think there is great potential in the Creative Cloud model, for one reason only...
With the prior "perpetual license" model, Adobe's accounting practices forbid them from making any improvements to software that's been released. They simply CAN'T legally add improvements or features to it. It CANNOT work differently.
Now, with a subscription membership model:
Adobe can run development projects that are not locked to the major release cycle, and roll them out to users when they are completed.
They can make bugfixes that change the way the product works (a good recent example of that might have been the Crop Tool user interface).
I also have hope that the additional dollars coming in each month will enable funding of projects previously deemed "less important", such as someone going back and updating all the old filters to give them the ability to work on deep data (e.g., 16 or 32 bits/channel), or to improve the quality of the results. Even to chase ALL the open bugs out of the system.
It's not obvious to people who haven't been in a corporate high tech development environment, but there ARE disadvantages to the business model Adobe has been following, and this may just be the thing that allows them to move up from that. As a result, the product may become much better.

To do this in iMovie 11. use the SHARE menu. Share your project using the Share menu and choose Export Using QuickTime.
In the Dialog box that comes up, choose Sound to AIFF, or one of the other sound options. This will create a file that you can drag into iTubes.

You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.

5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.

Apple isnt here. this is a user based forum for technical questions. The solution is to restart, reset, and restore as new which is in the manual after that get it replaced for hard ware failure. if your within your one year warranty its replaced if it is out of the warranty then it is 199$

I can't find the duplicates tab that i always found useful, it seems to have disappeared from the new iTunes, does anybody know what to do next?

Where has the find duplicates function gone in the new iTunes? It use to be in a drop down task bar menu in the old versions but i can't find it in the latest.

If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar

It sounds like your iPod is not recognized in either Explorer, or in iTunes on your PC. That can be frustrating, expecially when its a new device. I recommend you use the following article to help resolve that issue named:

I have the same problem with new 11.0. Presentation of album data now seems scrambled in 'Album' screen. Instead of albums in alphabetical order with all album tracks I now get albums in the order of the Album Artist. Unless the album artist is EXACTLY the same, the tracks on any one album can be spread all over the screen (hopeless for compilations). Does anbody know how to get the Album screen to sort solely on the Album title?

I run both Mac and a PC and have iTunes on both, which has previously recognised my iPhone. I had updated my Mac with the new iTunes software with iCloud and updated my iPad2 just yesterday. I then wanted to do the same with my iPhone today, but my Mac wouldn't recognise the device so I tried it on my PC, which recognised the phone but told me I needed to update my iTunes and this in turn wanted to update my iPhone software. After completing all this and restarting, my iPhone now shows the iTunes icon with the USB plug pointing towards it, obviously wanting me to plug it in to my computer to re-connect with iTunes, but now neither of my computers recognise my iPhone and my PC states an 'Unknown Device'. My Mac doesn't even see it. Can anyone help as I really need to get my phone working?? Thanks

Hold down the Home and Power button for 20 seconds. And try to update again.
