Does anyknow the cause of an Invalid SIM error cause and fix?

I was in the middle of a call when my 4S suddenly dropped the call and gave an "Invalid SIM" error. I had to restart to get it back to normal but the call kept dropping repeatedly on the next 3 attempts after lasting only a few seconds. Does anyone know the cause and how to fix? I'm on AT&T and my phone is less than a month old.

I've read many threads here that always seem to say that this means cube files are corrupted and to delete everything and reprocess. There's a couple problems with this. First of all that is not acceptable if you are in a production environment with a large cube application to just trash it and wait hours/days to reprocess a new one. Second, the files it throws the error messages for are always there and readable from IE (XML format). Scanning through the files, I see no funny characters or other things that would lead one to believe the file is corrupt.

No one here can help you, & Apple can't/won't help you. Fact is, there is no way to get that iPhone officially unlocked. Only Softbank can authorize the official unlocking of your phone, but they won't. Softbank does not offer official unlocking for any iPhone.

I've received an email with a solution to the problem; you have to update to the new iOS 5.0.1 firmware (9A406)!! It's been 1Hour and so far my iPHone 4S is working just fine. Please follow carefully the below instructions:
RUN A FULL BACK UP BEFORE DOING ANY OF THIS
1. Download the new iOS 5.0.1 firmware (9A406) from the internet. (800MB)
2. Connect your iPhone 4S to iTunes.
3. Once connected, two options will show: ‘restore’ and ‘check for update’.
4. Press down SHIFT and choose ‘check for update’. (if you click ‘check for update’ without pressing down SHIFT doesn’t work.)
5. Select the new firmware (9A406). Note that the file should be renamed ‘iPhone4,1_5.0.1_9A406_Restore.ipsw’ (instead of ‘iPhone4,1_5.0.1_9A406_Restore.zip’), i.e. changing the file extension from ZIP to IPSW. iTunes will now work alone and update your iPhone 4S.
A full back up is recommended before firmware upgrade.

I you have an iPhone you have it ALL!
OK I think I can help you on this one, I think there is a missconception on the terminology, if the iPhone is from AT&T it does have a SIM card tray, you will find it on the left side of the iPhone. All you need is the key insert it in the little hole and it pops out.
If the iPhone 4 is from Verizon it DOES NOT have a sim card tray.
What the sales person told your sister is accurate, the iPhone does not have a slot for an SD card which is an "storage" card mainly used to store all sorts of data such as pictures, videos and more.
Locally the iphone has lots of storage capacity so your sister wont have the necesity of ever expanding her cellphone memory for the very reason of that she has the best cellular device in the market which is an IPHONE!
I don't think she will ever fill up her iphone's memory.

I suspect that the webpart the user added is putting a large amount of data into the page's Viewstate.

Why would a factory-unlocked Iphone get an invalid SIM error?

I bought 2 unlocked iPhones to sell overseas and they are giving an invalid SIM error. Both of them are the factory-unlocked version. Could someone help me with this?

Positive that they are unlocked. I bought them personally at an Apple Store and the invoice says unlocked iPhones (I also paid the unlocked iPhone price).
The Cell Service Provider has iPhone as one of its supported phones. Not sure exactly which MicroSIM the person is using though.

After upgrading to iOS 7.0.6, I get intermittent "invalid SIM" error.

After upgrading to iOS 7.0.6, I get intermittent "invalid SIM" error where the carrier strength (top left corner) should be.   Of course I loose all data and cellular connections at that time.   The only workaround is to power the device off and back on.   I have to do this at least once every 2 or 3 days since the upgrade to 7.0.6.   Anyone else having SIM related errors since the upgrade?
This happened once before when I first updated to iOS 7.   The next patch that Apple sent out resolved the issue, and I haven't seen it again until now.
I hear 7.1 may be coming out as soon as next week.   Any chance this issue is resolved in that release?

Thanks for the input. That link shows steps that I've already taken. I know it sounds weird, but I believe it may be software related. Like I said before, this happened once before when I first upgraded to iOS7.   I lived with the issue, having to reboot the phone every couple of days, until the next update from Apple. Once they sent out the next update, the problem went away.
If it is not software related, then it must be a corruption of the software download and installation. I did it over the air. Possibly downloading whatever release comes out next will fix it because it's a new installation. The software itself may not have the fix in it, but the act of downloading and installing the new software may fix it. Just a thought...

I've got the same issue and it affects all my adobe software. You are not alone as I have seen several postings looking for the answer to this help request.

The trial is always extended. The serial number you enter determines whether it runs as standard or extended.
I'm getting through fine with that link, so it must be a browser issue or some such thing. Try another browser.

Error -1073807300 causes and fixes

Of four identically stations one commonly throws this error during one of several CVI compiled functions. This indicates a memory problem (windows?) or can this actually be an instrument problem? What are the common causes and fixes for this error?

You do not mention which kind of operations you are doing when you get this error. I assume you are communicating with an instrument using VISA (or IVI?) since the error seems to be related to VISA. What is the instrument you are talking to? When exactly do you get this error?
Actually, you should try posting this question (providing the answers to my questions, as well as the versions of all the software you are using -VISA, CVI and so on) in one of the Instrument Connectivity Discussion Forums (there is one for Serial Interfaces, one for GPIB, one for VISA and one for Instrument Drivers/IVI). That would be a more suitable p
lace for this question since this error is Not related to TestStand.

Hi mterry1723, one solution that might be worth trying is this:
- Close iTunes, if it's open
- Open Safari and got to 'Preferences'
- Select 'Security' on the top
- Untick all the security options in the menu
- Click the 'Show Cookies' button and look for all the 'apple' entries in the left-hand column.
- Highlight them (select them collectively) and press 'Remove'
- Now open iTunes and buy the song as usual.
- You may be asked to do the same security process as before, so do as asked.
- Hopefully, the security check will now have accepted your answers and start downloading the song as normal.
Remember to re-tick all the required security options you had just un-ticked in Safari preferences. You don't need to bother about opening the cookies again.
I hope this has worked for you and my profoundest apologies if it has not. Worth a go, though!
