Does anyone else all the sudden have probs with the ipod touch calendar?? all the sudden can't add dates to mine, please help!

Can't insert new events into my calendar...was fine before the new software update but now doesn't work. please help if you know any fixes.

Go to Settingds>iCloud and make sure that Calender is turned on. If yo want to do other things too like adding contacts, make sure those are also turned on.

So Lion is still Broken… and Mountain Lion does not seem the fix the issue either…
Lion is not broken, you are simply having a lot of trouble adjusting to it and trying to forget your old habits. Lion is fine. And Mountain Lion not applying the 'fix' you believe is required does not bode well for your future usage and thus reverting to Snow Leopard may be your only hope of regaining these outdated features.

Please follow these directions to delete the Mail "sandbox" folders. In OS X 10.9 there are two sandboxes, while in 10.8 there is only one. If you're running a version older than 10.8, this comment isn't applicable.
Back up all data.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
Services ▹ Reveal
from the contextual menu.* A Finder window should open with a folder named "com.apple.mail" selected. If it does, move the selected folder — not just its contents — to the Desktop. Leave the Finder window open for now.
Log out and log back in. Launch Mail and test. If the problem is resolved, you may have to recreate some of your Mail settings. You can then delete the folder you moved and close the Finder window. If you still have the problem, quit Mail again and put the folder back where it was, overwriting the one that may have been created in its place. Repeat with this line:

Caution: If you change any of the contents of the sandbox, but leave the folder itself in place, Mail may crash or not launch at all. Deleting the whole sandbox will cause it to be rebuilt automatically.

- If you have an iCloud account, in a computer broser go to icloud.com>sign in>Pages Beta and upload to iCloud. You can then export/email in Microsoft and pdf format.

Does anyone else get the error message :iCloud has unexpectedly stopped"?

I am visiting South Africa and realy heavily on access to my iCloud. For the past 48 hours iCloud seems to be down and I keep getting the error message "icloud has unexpectedly stopped". Apple has not acknowledged the problem, yet. Does anyone else experience similar issues? Any suggestions on how to access icloud.com?

I'm having the same problem on my wife's computer. I successfully joined several shared calendars from my account, and suddenly started getting this message on the last one. I've tried again repeatedly over the last 24 hours, including sending a new invitation, logging her out of iCloud website, etc.

This is a very interesting discussion as I am doing precisely this as well. I am taking my old home movies, pulling in the 2-hour video and then splitting it in PE7 (via control-k). I then make individual avi's from it by deleting all the segments except one, "sharing" the avi, reloading (or undoing) to get my clips back and deleting all except the next one. its a tedious business but it works. Does anyone else notice the light from the headphone jack on their white iPhone 4?

I noticed that whenever i turn on my lockscreen or whenever my iphone's screen is on, you can see light from the audio headphone jack. Anyone else have this problem? ( Iphone 4 white)

Clarification, iPhoneMac is correct. There is light noticible at the bottom of the Headphone Jack.
However, when I responded, I checked the 6 iPhone 4 here and none of them showed this in lit room normal usage. In Dark Room especially with the Screen Brightness turned up you can see a bit of light (glow) at the very bottom of the Jack, if you look right down the barrel.

I'm interested to see if any of you think that the adding of a new forum one level up from here titled as above will lead to both constant dual-postings and unanswered threads? It seems to me to be nothing more than Forum Bloat. If we allow this, why don't we allow "Hardware Setups for FCS", "Viewing FCS work on video monitor vs LCD monitor" or "Heavy Drinking while Editing - users thoughts?" as forums?
These are threads, not forums! If we need more forums (say, Beginner and Elitist?), then so be it - but let's subdivide the topics via some kind of system rather than some arbitrarily broad topic?

I looked at the new forum, but didn't really 'get it'... I guess it will either prove useful in time, or become redundant and have tumbleweed bouncing around.

And in regard to the points thing... well, i'll stick my head on the line here...
The amount of times i've read 'Have you tried using the forum search!?' or 'We get asked this question a thousand times a week... use search.' etc etc etc...
So... off they go and use search... lo and behold, they see a thread title that matches their problem and they investigate... if the person can see a green star next to a certain post they will be assured that that answer will help them.
Sometimes threads go on for pages and pages before a solution is reached... if somebody uses search, finds that thread and starts slogging through all the posts, surely it's just plain helpful to have that green star there... just to say...Hey! this is the answer!. It's like a little flag, waving.
...and if, inadvertantly, some points go to somebody... that's all good in my book. It's just a little nod and a wink to say "Thanks buddy, you helped me out."
I will happily continue to remind people to mark threads 'solved' and to give people a little star... it adds a sense of completion.

Man I wish I stayed with 10.4.11...
Leopard is stuttery, seems to be dropping frames during any game I've played. Takes all the fun out of playing games.
Is there something I can do? Has anyone else experienced this? I'm thinking about Archive/Installing 10.4.11 again.

Do these have the latest patches installed? - All of my games required an update to work properly on Leopard
Have you tried reinstalling the games?
When you upgraded to Leopard what method did you use? Archive and install, Erase and install or upgrade?
