Does anyone else HATE their Cosmos 2?
I ordered a new basic phone in December and the Cosmos 2 seemed to fill the bill. I've had other LG phones before and had no problems. However, this phone won't keep a charge; for ex: I fully charged it & after receiving & responding to 2 text msgs, I am down to one bar. It is ridiculous! Does anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions for a good basic phone so I can get a new one? Thank you to anyone who can help.

HELP!! Does anyone else have their entire keyboard stop working with photoshop?
This varies for me but most of the time whenever I use Photoshop CC and CS6 my ENTIRE keyboard stops working. Not just the shortcuts but even in other apps too. The only keys that remain functional are the fn, control, option, shift, delete, all of the F keys, and command keys. I am not sure if this is due to me not having enough ram (I have 4 GB). Does anyone else have this problem and if so what did you do to fix it?
I also have this issue and it's driving me bonkers.

Issue only with Photoshop - no other applications.
I have tried a brand new machine and a brand new keyboard (replaced my main workstation recently), so I know for sure it's not an issue with any of my hardware. I also know for sure that it's not an issue belonging only to one OS version, as I had the same issue with win7pro and win8.1pro.
For me the issue is that ALL keyboard keys stop responding completely in Photoshop until I hit the Windows key or otherwise maximise/bring to focus any other application, such as desktop or Outlook etc. Then I immediately bring Photoshop CC back into focus and the keyboard works again. Then after a few moments/clicks/commands the keyboard dies again.
The issue is 100% local to Photoshop CC, is not related in any way to Wacom drivers (I don't have any installed and don't use a tablet), is not related only to one OS and is not hardware related, as far as I can tell. Once again, I've had these issues on-and-off across 2 different machines with different keyboards.
I'm wondering if it's related to Teamviewer, since TV creates focus issues with certain other applications/games etc. I will try with TV closed and see if the problem goes away.
All CC apps are up-to-date. -

I HATE the new iTunes Softare for Windows! They made it exactly like Windows Media Player! If I wanted to use WMP, I wouldn't use iTunes!!!! But I preferred iTunes over anything else. It was much more user friendly. Now its like the rest of them!!! I hate it!! PLEASE, CHANGE IT BACK!!!!!!
I love the new version of Grid view but some of the other changes feel like they still need some fine tuning. And I miss cover flow even if I didn't use it that often...
You can restore much of the look & feel of the previous version with these shortcuts:
Ctrl+B to turn on the menu bar
Ctrl+S to turn on the sidebar
Ctrl+/ to turn on the status bar
Click the magnifying glass top right and untick Search Entire Library to restore the old search behaviour
Use View > Hide <Media Kind> in the cloud or Edit > Preferences > Store and untick Show iTunes in the cloud purchases to hide the cloud items. The second method eliminates the cloud status column (and may let iTunes start up more quickly)
Should you feel the need to roll back to iTunes 10.7 first download a copy of the 32 bit installer or 64 bit installer as appropriate, uninstall iTunes and suppporting software, i.e. Apple Application Support & Apple Mobile Device Support. Reboot. Restore the pre-upgrade version of your library database as per the diagram below, then install iTunes 10.7.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to scan the media folder and catch up with any changes made since the backup file was created.

Does anyone else hate YouTube?
Previously I was able to upload an answer print to YouTube without much trouble.
Tonight, however, YouTube and/or Google demanded that I set up a "YouTube channel." I clicked on this. And waited.
And waited.
And waited.
And waited.
And waited.
This despite that I'm on a 4G Wifi hookup!
After watching the "working" spinner for exactly 10 minutes (this after a previous 6 minute session of watching the spinner) I threw in the sponge.
My only grief with this Formum is that there is a Language Nanny that won't let me express my real opinion of Google and YouTube. In rich Anglo Saxon.
I'd wanted to put up an interim Answer Print to get some early feedback from Hunt, Romano, and Grisetti.
With any luck I'll be able to upload the Answer Print to my own website via FTP. If I can carry it off, I'll pass along the link sometime tomorrow.
In meantime ... am I alone in my contempt/distress/hatred/loathing/rancor/discust regarding YouTube?
rhMy distress with YouTube was overstated. The problem became self-resolving, for reasons that are still unclear to me.

I'm a novelist who dabbles in graphics.
Vimeo is swell for anyone who does a lot of up- and down-loading. For me, however, this is a unique issue, insofar as my only concern is getting this video to Kickstarter as just one element of a project. (Text in html, rewards, and video.) Once that's done, I don't see any real need to create videos, and I can't justify the cost of Vimeo.
My interest in photography, dating from high school, and my education at Santa Barbara's Brooks Institute in '54, has always been still images.

How can I put photos on Facebook from Photos? I choose them and they don't appear.
1 - if you hate Photos very simple - do not use it - if is still in your applications folder
2 - you may need to update your system preferences ==> extensions ==> sharing to include Facebook and maybe other sharing places

Does anyone else hate Audio-mercials when calling a business?
Nothing angers me more than trying to call a business and not being able to bypass the stupid automated audio-mercial, especially when it's longer than 10 seconds. Oh and then they say you can go online and do yadda yadda yadda, if I could, I wouldn't be calling.

Does anyone else find their screen dims to almost black after the iOS6 upgrade?
Ever since the update to the new iOS, my phone's screen will almost black out, and then within a couple minutes the brightness will come back. Doesn't seem that anything I do in settings or otherwise helps get the brightness back. It has happened while I have been using an application, on the phone, etc .Sometimes it happens when not being touched. I know my settings are okay, and tech support can't figure out what to do next. They already traded my handset out and it is still doing it. I also did a restore as a new phone in case it was a software issue. If you are having trouble with this too, please call 800-APL-CARE and let them know. If enough people let them know, then they'll fix this glitch. Or if you know a fix for this glitch please let me know. Thanks
I have had the same problem with my Iphone 4s. I have restored it several times and the issues comes and goes. I can be on a call or just openning a app and the screen will go dim. The only way for the backlight to come back on is for me to hit the power button. Its very annoying and I have not took it to apple yet because It does not stay dim.

I dont like the way the email is delivered now or that you cant delete email without opening each email. Please put it back to the way it was.
You do not have to open mail to delete it in iOS 5. When viewing the list of emails in preview for any given account, just tap "Edit" and you can then tap on each message to be deleted, hit delete (bottom of screen) once you picked them all and they are deleted. Also in the preview list, you can swipe (left-to-right) on a message to delete it.

sure i get off an extra day, but the whole weekend is driving around visiting my family as well as my g/f's family, NO time for myself
damn it!Including the fact that the stores start celebrating it in July, and the driving all over, not to mention the tension between the in-laws---who get's more time with the grandkids--etc....
The endless piles of crap to fill up my tiny box of a house even further to overflowing... dollar store crap, and other things...
Yeah--I dread it--but the look on my 4 kids' faces when they decorated the tree -- priceless. -
The first day I got it, it was fine. Then when I woke up the next day which was less than 12 hours after hooking it up, it wouldn't connect..it let me type a couple of characters to my password, but then literally stopped. My trackpad has yet to have any issues whatsoever. Even during the keyboard malfunctioning it's been fine. In order to get the keyboard to work, I have to log into the guest account, let it be discovered, then pair it. It as now happened on 4 different days, more times than that, though. I've only had it for just over a week. I don't think there's a problem with the computer just because the trackpad is fine. The keyboard blinks that little green light when it's having this issue, too. As you know, it's normally off. Today I tried to log in for the first time and it did the same thing as the first day. It let me type a few characters, then stopped and wouldn't connect. This time, though, when I went into the guest account to let it be discovered it wouldn't let me type the numeric code to pair it. I had to hold down my power button to restart it because I was logged in on another user and it wouldn't let me restart it the normal way without typing the admin username/password...which I obviously couldn't do seeing as how I didn't have a keyboard. Does anyone else think this is a faulty keyboard I need to return? Or is this unfortunately how it works...or what? Help please...
I was at the Apple Store that week 5 times for a messed up phone that they replaced with a total of 4 replacement phones because of different issues the ones they gave me had and driving there that much almost made me say screw it to the iPhone...now I buy this very expensive iMac spending 2 grand and this happens....I'm so mad I am thinking of just returning it and giving up on Apple altogether which Idon't WANT to do...but with all I've dealt with in a 2 week period with the iPhone and now this...oh and I bought a $100 cell phone case I had to replace because it wasn't working correctly. So you see, I am beyond frustartee over Apple.....if anyone could help I'd greatly appreciate it. With all of my problems I've had, you'd think they want to do more than apologize for my inconvenience. Even the techs that helped me said it was ridiculous I've had so many issues and now I'm just adding to the list..Try this:
Go to System Preferences - Bluetooth. Delete the keyboard from the list of devices by pressing the "-" button. Take the batteries out of the keyboard and reinsert them. In Bluetooth Preferences press the '+" button to add the new device. If the keyboard begins to pair, click the word "pair" and type in the passcode. Press return. The keyboard is now paired.
If the mouse is not pairing, try this: shut down the computer completely, unplug any USB mice, then turn off the power to the bluetooth mouse. ONce the computer starts up again, wait for the pop-up looking for a mouse. Turn on the power to the bluetooth mouse. It should work normally now. -
after the newest update ( iso 7) , i can no longer type in traditional chinese ( pin yin), does anyone else have the same problem?
I downloaded and tried EasyFind. It works but it took 30+ seconds to complete finding 3 files that are on One of my Five 25+ Gb partitions of my 130 Gb Seagate Cuda(Really 160 Gb, but my Sawtooth will only recognize 130) I figured that if I ever got a better box, I could reformat it to see the whole 160 Gb. So, as far as I can see, Spotlight's indexing scheme which finds the files instantly is probably preferable. Spot light allows you to rename your files from within it's app window. I've always thought that was pretty powerful. Could my doing so be causing me any issues? As i said it is the inability to Type in the Finder that seemed to be caused from changing file Extentions that were mis-written. Maybe it was a delayed reaction to my renaming files in the Spotlight app? I've done both on occasion.
As for these .DS_Store files. Apparently you can NOT stop them from being written to any folder that you touch/open/view during a days session. But, as a function of the OS, are the essential to have in their respective folders Forever? I've looked at the .DS_Store terminator app briefly and assume that getting rid of these files won't hurt the regular operation of my OS. They will just be re-written if I ever have to go back to any particular folder again. But, apparently, some have said that if the plan on burning a CD or DVD of their data, they delete the .DS_Store files first and then do the burn.
I'm thinking from your having suggested this tremination app that you suspect that my having all of these ,DS_Store files could be a situation where any of them could have become corrupted and terminating them regularly should be part of my regular maintenance.
Does that sound like I'm understanding what I can do?

When I type my email address in the "To:" field, a random name comes up next to it as "Holidays in United States". This just started happening out of the blue and I have no idea why. Does anyone else have any idea?
Just to recap, this is a collection of ports I have collected over time for people who needed this information when setting up the HP ePrint app so that they could view their email from within the app. I am certain other applications also need this information. Although lengthy, I could not find a more comprehensive place to retrieve this information. I have Safari 7.0.6 and OS 10.9.4. I cannot install any extensions. Everytime I select install I get an error message, "Cannot instal extension" Does anyone else have this problem?

This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership, permissions, and access controls to the default. If you've intentionally set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Do so only after verifying that those settings didn't cause the problem. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it, but you do need to follow the instructions below.
Step 1
If you have more than one user, and the one in question is not an administrator, then go to Step 2.
Triple-click anywhere in the following line on this page to select it:
