Does anyone else have the problem of Safari freezing under 7?
Safari has the annoying habit of randomly freezing on my iPad 2 running 7. Some websites are worse than others, but I have to power the pad down every once In a while and then it will work for a while.
This is because you're running sound out of your optical out. Let me ask you this, are you running a video with surround sound through VLC or the like?
I've found that if I am outputting my sound via DD or DTS surround sound, I can't hear any system sound and Flash Videos will freeze ever second or so.
Does hitting play play them for a second and then it pauses again?
if you don't have optical audio setup for your computer, put your finger near the headphone jack and tell me if it is emitting a red laser. If it is, whatever you do, do not look into the hole. use the method I'm telling you or whatever you do don't look into the red light directly.

Most of the time my charger does not work . IPAD indicates not charging when recgarger plugged in. Does antone else have the problem?
If you continue to have the issue with a different charger and if you are having any issues syncing with your computer then you may want to take it into an apple store and have them look at it.
The main reason I say this, I had the 30 pin dock die on my iPad, and the symptoms were that it would not charge when plugged into the wall - and with multiple chargers - and it would not sync.
So keep an eye on it, especially if you are close to the end of your warranty. -
Here's what happens: Go into Settings -> Wi-Fi, and connect to the home network. The connection is made successfully. If you open Safari, yes, you can surf the web via Wi-Fi, not cellular network. After a few seconds, Wi-Fi drops out. But it not only drops out for the phone, all devices connected to the network are kicked off. Then all devices take a few minutes to connect again, like the router resets the connection or something. I don't have anything else in the house that does this when connected to the network -- No, our Android phones don't do this; No, the XBox doesn't do this; No, our old version 1 iPad doesn't do this; No, the various desktop computers running various flavors of Windows don't do this. But whenever the we attempt to connect the iPhone to the house network, the network drops for all devices connected to the network. Anyone else have this issue? I'm thinking about returning this phone and going with Android.
This is known issue with iOS 7. The issue is with iOS 7, wallpaper required filling the screen, so if you try to scale down, it won't work. There are apps in the App Store which have popped up to resize wallpaper for iOS 7.

By pause I mean the video itself freezes for about .2 seconds. The sound is just fine. After this slight freeze, the video is fine and keeps going. Is this a flash problem? Anyways, if you guys have any solution to this problem that would be great. If not, I'm probably just being paranoid.

Is there a way to avopid my iMac opening all my previously used applications everytime I start up the computer every morning.
It's especially annoying if I have clients with me who I dont want to see what I have been previously working on.

The background music I chose was a standard Apple Loop, but on playback it sounds like someone has cut the music, each time the Loop connects to the extended loops I made when I dragged the end of the initial loop out over a short distance? Did I do it wrong?
When you extend the loop by dragging the the end of the loop (you'll see a bracket as cursor), you will extend the loop by silence and hear a sharp cut. To make the loop longer, loop it. Grab it in a way, that you'll see a curved arrow as pointer and not the bracket. -
I have Safari 7.0.6 and OS 10.9.4. I cannot install any extensions. Everytime I select install I get an error message, "Cannot instal extension" Does anyone else have this problem?

This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership, permissions, and access controls to the default. If you've intentionally set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. I was just taking a picture on my iPhone 5 when I noticed a purple dot in every picture I took I cleaned the lens and turned my phone off but it's still there . It's annoying ! Does anyone else have this problem ?

I downloaded and tried EasyFind. It works but it took 30+ seconds to complete finding 3 files that are on One of my Five 25+ Gb partitions of my 130 Gb Seagate Cuda(Really 160 Gb, but my Sawtooth will only recognize 130) I figured that if I ever got a better box, I could reformat it to see the whole 160 Gb. So, as far as I can see, Spotlight's indexing scheme which finds the files instantly is probably preferable. Spot light allows you to rename your files from within it's app window. I've always thought that was pretty powerful. Could my doing so be causing me any issues? As i said it is the inability to Type in the Finder that seemed to be caused from changing file Extentions that were mis-written. Maybe it was a delayed reaction to my renaming files in the Spotlight app? I've done both on occasion.
As for these .DS_Store files. Apparently you can NOT stop them from being written to any folder that you touch/open/view during a days session. But, as a function of the OS, are the essential to have in their respective folders Forever? I've looked at the .DS_Store terminator app briefly and assume that getting rid of these files won't hurt the regular operation of my OS. They will just be re-written if I ever have to go back to any particular folder again. But, apparently, some have said that if the plan on burning a CD or DVD of their data, they delete the .DS_Store files first and then do the burn.
I'm thinking from your having suggested this tremination app that you suspect that my having all of these ,DS_Store files could be a situation where any of them could have become corrupted and terminating them regularly should be part of my regular maintenance.
Does that sound like I'm understanding what I can do?

I just updated my iphone 4s to ios 6 and now whenever i take a picture it doesnt save to the camera roll. does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

The camera takes a picture but the picture (video) doesnt appear in my Photos and therefore is not saved! -
The 'Swipe to Camera app icon' function is not working. I swipe across but the camera app doesn't start up at all. Does anyone else have this problem? Can it be fixed?

Half the ebooks I have bought from iTunes have large sections or complete chapters missing from them which is beginning to seriously irritate. Does anyone else have this problem or it is something to do with the downloading. In which case does anyone have an answer?
You should be able to delete and redownload them via the bookshelf in the iBooks app : tap the Edit button top right of the shelf, select and delete the books, then go into the Store via the button top left of the bookshelf, and in the Purchased tab (bottom right of the store) find and re-download the books.
If they re-download in the same state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find those books and use the 'Report a Problem' link. -
I continue to get an error 37 message when trying to restore my iphone 3GS which crashed after trying to upload the last update. Does anyone else have this problem?

I have exactly the same issue as described above : I installed the update 5.1.1 on my iphone 3GS and since then, I can not turn it on anymore. In Itunes, I get an error 37 when I am doing a restauration and it stops.
This error has nothing to do with firewall : I tried to restore the phone on several computers, including in an Apple reseller and it did not work anywhere.
I spent several hours on phone with the hotline from Apple which arrived to the conclusion that it is a hardware issue, but the phone was working perfectly fine until I installed this update! -

Since I installed the update for Mindjolt games, it will not let me in. Does anyone else have this problem?
Try resetting the iPad. Simultaneously hold down the Home and the On buttons until the iPad shuts off. Ignore the off slider if it should appear. This should take only about ten seconds or so. Once shut down is compete, turn the iPad back on.

Recreate default files in root home directory
