Does anyone else still have this problem?

I will hit a topic in these new discussions and half the time Safari comes back with it cannot load the page because it couldn't find the info on the server.
Then, I rehit it and it loads. Is anyone else having this problem?
It also seems like just trying to get around takes 2 times as long as it used to.
Is it just me?

No,maybe not Safari or FF themself but where they have browsed to,? i thought maybe a plist or dumping cache for apple. or safari FF something or other,that would help.
Of course it might just be the newness of The new Apple Discussions.
i don't know, we probably would of been told if it were a preference plist or cache issue ?

Does anyone else still have a problem using iVPN with OS X 10.8.3 and Airport Extreme?

I am looking for help setting up iVPN. I am using my iMac, an airport extreme, and had recently purchased iVPN. I believe I input everything correct and port forward my Airport Extreme to 1732, but when the counter starts I cant access anything including email and internet. Do you have the current version of the Java software installed: Java SE Runtime Environment 7 1.7.0_21. Just because you have the preference panel doesn't mean you have the runtime installed.

VZW Messaging app continues to crash even after update, and several re-installs. Anyone else still having this problem, and know any fixes?

the vz messaging app is garbage.Thats probably why no tech support people have replied to your question yet. I had similar issues & decided to disable it. May i suggest you download 'textra' or even hangouts?

From your statements above, it sounds like you never tried to burn a CD for at least the first year that you owned the laptop, as it had a one year warranty on it. While you might have used it frequently to install software, play DVDs, Blu-Ray disks, etc, that's unclear from your statements. Nonetheless, it might just be dirty-dusty. So, before deleting-uninstalling any software, and given they're cheap, try a CD-DVD Cleaner Disk first and see if that resolves your problems.

I suppose I should have prefaced my question with the concern that I've read a number of other posts from people who have had a similar issue and when they tried to follow the directions, they ran into a multitude of other problems. Has anyone else has seen this problem with their iPod touch 5th Generation with iOS 7.0.4. My screen started making flashing white lines across the screen, then went dim, then pixeled with purples

The ipod will show flashing white lines across the screen, going down, it then does somthing where the screen will dim down but its not like when the backlight goes on and its about to lock. It dims the background of your ipod and the icons and letters kind of all look defined. Then the ipod gets all pixelized and it has big boxes on pixels and its all differnt colors like purples and greens, red, etc. then it turns right off and restarts itself less than 5 seconds later. These things happen really fast but when it does it's really weird. It first happened 3 times in a row, Its still continuing to happen but i can manually turn off my ipod by holding the lock button down and not even 30 seconds later it's like its possessed and it turns on by itself. I talked to somone on appel and they told me to back it up and restore it. I restored it and as soon as the process ended and tuirned on like a brand new ipod and like clockwork the glitch happened instantly. It did it a couple of times throughout the night and i kept having to watch it so i can keep turning it off manually because it continues to turn on by itself. I talked to 3 different people on Apple Support and they couldnt even find an answer for me. It's so weird.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

If you restored to factory settings/new iPod via iTunes (Not via Settings>General>Reset>Erase all Content and Setting) and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem.

My Itunes store account has been hacked twice in two days. I have changed my password. Its hard to get ahold of support. Has anyone else delt with this problem.

Design flaw in blackberry pearl 8220 audio (voice) - does every phone shipped have this problem?

have a new blackberry 8820 pearl that I am happy with.
The phone does have one big problem. hearing a person over the phone (i.e.. The top speaker embedded in the flip not the microphone in the phone case proper).
When someone raises their voice a little during conversation the phone distorts the incoming audio (it makes a tinny sound like when a speaker distorts when it is overloaded and yes I am using default volume and have tried it on all volume levels... The phone speaker still distorts incoming voice).
Also called a few numbers and got several people's voicemail announcement... Because people raise their voice just a little bit when they put in their voice mail announcement the phone always distorts the voicemail greeting.
Moved my sim card to a Motorola razor v8. everything is crystal clear hearing and speaking. your blackberry pearl flip has a hardware or firmware design flaw... It distorts incoming conversation based on how the person is speaking not just when they are talking with a strong clear voice... But when the incoming speech volume is raised slightly!.
I asked tmobile to send me a new phone. they did and the new phone does the same thing (i.e.. The handset speaker). the speaker phone function works just fine and does not distort conversation.
Is this a problem with a certain production run on the phone or does it happen with every blackberry pearl flip 8220?
since the Motorola razor works fine under the same conditions with <no> distortion figured it may be design flaw going to production on the phone. But thought I would ask anyway.. In case this problem has been solved by development in-house.
Please pass this message to engineering and the product line manager responsible for the blackberry flip 8220. I know if I was a product manager I wouldn't want to go to market with a phone that distorts audio. you guys should have checked the competition (Motorola and other windows CE phones to make sure the audio on the blackberry pearl is as good or better than the competition).
Hope this helps. please pass this forward and see what engineering and product management says. if its a general design flaw it would be good to know. just wanted my new blackberry (which I like) to work just as good as my Motorola razor. both are good phones but the audio handset speaker distortion is somewhat of a pain.

I have a retina mbp, and I noticed that you need to wait a while for the "time remaining" on your battery charge to display correctly. For example, on my mac it starts off with ~4hrs 30mins after a full charge, but it gradually moves up to ~ 7hrs or even 8hrs 45mins. Of course, there are other things to consider, such as your brightness settings, keyboard lights, what programs your running, etc. I achieved the aforemention time remaining by having my brightness at most halfway up, keyboard lights at most up by 3 notches, and only performing simple tasks like surfing the web.

The screen backlight of my mbp 15 stays dim even when connected to the power source. Anyone else dealt with this problem?

It also seems that my sound can no longer be controlled by the keys on my keypad. Has anyone else experience this? I am running osx 10.6.8.

IF RESET DOESN'T WORK, FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port. Do not release button until you see picture of iTunes and plug (very important)
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...

Im loathed to waste time following the recommended steps on the Apple help site to find that the problem is the new iTunes version.

Why is my new Macbook pro not reading my iphone 3GS device but my Windows desktop does not seem to have this problem?

I cannot recall the DVD player ever being a place to "store" videos - it is simply an app to play videos.
If your machine is new, then iMovie should be included as the "shrunk" version of iLife is included with Lion (iMovie, Garageband, and iPhoto). However, iMovie is not a place to store videos either - it is a video editor. You import your clips and edit them in order to then burn to a DVD or share via a social media site.
Have you considered simply dragging the clips to your folder "Movies"? That would be a great place to just store them (please be aware that videos are usually large files, so keep your hard drive space in mind so you keep a minimum free and available for the OS to operate properly):
