Does anyone has experience in using Runtime Share Libraries (RSLs) in flex?

I am getting this error from Flash CS5 when publishing the SWC file:
"Warning: No libraries were linked as Runtime Shared Libraries (RSLs) because of your publish settings: Export SWC"
Does this interferes when compiling the flex project that uses this SWC file?
The error that I am getting from Flex 3 is:
"One or more errors were found while trying to build release version. Unable to export.
Reason: " - This is the main error window
Details: "
Encountered errors or warnings while building project xxLearning.as.
    xxLearning.as: unable to load SWC C:\xxx\xx\My Documents\Flex Builder 3\xxx\libs\_assets.swc
Any ideas?

Hello mdillon,
I just wanted to point out that you could use an NI-DAQmx simulated device.  With NI-DAQmx 7.4 and later, you have the ability to add a simulated device to your system.  That simulated device will respond with the appropriate NI-DAQmx errors (if you try to set invalid parameters, etc.).  It will allow you to program a system as if the device was present.  Just a suggestion

  • Does anyone have experience with using a Canon Vixia HF M52 Camcorder with Final Cut Express?

I'm looking to purchase a new camcorder that is compatible with my Mac OS X (10.6.8) that will work well with Final Cut Express 4.0.1  I have downloaded the camcorder support info from Final Cut Express that list many capital camcorders.  I've used Sony tape based camcorders in the past.  I'm looking for High Definition.  I can stick with a tape based camcorder, but thought I would look at the Canon Vixia HF M52 as an alternative, which is listed as compatible.  I would like to download directly from the camera to FCE.  I film in the wilderness, like having an optical zoom of 20 or greater (yes, I use a small tripod). Does anyone have experience with the Canon Vixia?  And if not, but you really like another camcorder that you can recommend, what is it?

The Vixia HF M52 is an AVCHD camcorder and should work perfectly fine with Final Cut Express 4 (4.0.1).
The published "camcorder support list" has never been up to date and I would not take it to be a definitive list of compatible camcorders.
One note, however, the Vixia HF M52 supports a number of different shooting modes.  I suggest sticking with the AVCHD 1920 x 1080i / 60 fps mode for use with FCE.   FCE does not support progressive modes except in 720p25/30 (which the M52 does not seem to shoot anyway); nor does FCE support any 24 fps modes.

  • Does anyone has experience with Dynafix repair?

    Hello,
my iPhone broke down, and in Belgium all warranty claims have to go via Mobistar/ Dynafix.
I looked this company up on the internet, and all I got were horror stories about warranty refusal (due to water damage, other impossible to proof defects), iPhones that come back more broken than before, claims to pay 40 euros just to get an unfixed iPhone back,...
To be honest I'm afraid to even send my broken iPhone to them. Apparently Apple doesn't support iPhones in Belgium because I tried an official Service Provider, but they couldn't help me. Have to go to Mobistar -> Dynafix.
So does anyone have positive experiences with repairs in Belgium?
(I do want this iPhone fixed otherwise I'll lose all my progress in imob online
The new iPhone 3Gs looks great, and if the old one gets repaired, I won't hesitate to buy the new one too.
Thanks in advance for any reactions. I'll keep you informed on the progress.

    MrTerryG,
I wish I could tell you of a happy and joyful experience. However, I'm afraid my story won't put your mind at ease.
Since I bought my iPhone last summer, my vibration-function was very loud. I wasn't aware that this was abnormal until I heard a colleague's iPhone vibrating much softer, more than half a year later.
I first tried to bring in my iPhone in a local Apple Store, but they told me I had to bring it in at Mobistar, since I bought it there.
When I took it back, I saw a very thin hairline fracture at the simcard tray. This happened when I had -carefully- removed the simcard to bring in the iPhone.
I brought in my phone at Mobistar, describing the hairline fracture and vibration problem. They sent it to Dynafix.
2 weeks later, I went to the Mobistar Center, and they told me I had 3 choices:
    1. Pay 282€ and get a new iPhone in return
    2. Pay 40€ to get it back unrepaired
    3. Tell them to throw away the phone
They said that the damage wasn't covered by the warranty. After that, they showed me a picture, taken by Dynafix. I couldn't believe my eyes, the hairline fracture wasn't just a hairline fracture anymore, and suddenly there were much more fractures! I don't know what they did with my phone, but it looks awful now.
I sent emails to Dynafix, but their replies were not covering the point (as if they only read half of the mail).
I called and mailed Apple and Mobistar too, and both ends advised me to send letters, because there were much more similar complaints.
So that's what I'm going to do tomorrow.
It's really really sad, because this rules out buying new iPhones from Mobistar, because as long as they have a contract with Dynafix, you have an almost certain chance of being scr*wed by the repair company.
I hope you haven't sent in your iPhone, because my advice is: take detailed pics of your phone first, and have them signed by the salesman in your local store where you are bringing it in.
    Kind regards,

  • Does anyone has experience with "in Apps"

We developed an iPad App which would go on the market for 6,95 euro. However we would like to use the "in app" to get more downloads. Anybody has experience in this? Is there perhaps an other way to give a large number of apps for free (based on an specific ID)

  • Does anyone has experiences with dnscrypt?

    Hello,
DNSCrypt is a little tool that install a proxy between your system and the DNS-Sever like google or your provider. As you know, the Traffic to the DNS-Severs isn't enryptet so anyone that have the potential can catch your IP-Adress. DNSCrypt install a proxy and encrypt all the Traffic between your machine and the DNS-Server.
My Question, have any experiences with this Tool on the Mac?

I followed the advice given here : http://www.pro-networks.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=78185&postdays=0&postorder=asc&sta rt=10 and solved this booting issue. So now Vista works on my M40.
The Vista Performance Index ranks my M40 with 3.4 (I think 5.9 is the maximum) which isn´t that bad. Even Aero works. The weakest component (which is the crucial factor for the Performance rank) is the CPU.
All hardware components are working except the pcmcia drive. Most of the drivers where already installed after my first boot. I only had to tell Vista to search for audio-drivers online to get the sounddrivers too.
Well, some special toshiba things aren't working because the drivers are missing. Those shortcut-keys for instance. I think I will also install XP in parallel because I'm missing some applications for Vista and I also wanna play some of my games from time to time.
After all I can say Vista is working good on an M40-129. But so far I wasn't able to discover any real benefits compared to XP. But I like to play around and so I now have a new playground called Vista.

  • Does anyone has experience or working vi's for controlling an IoTech Daqbook2000?

I'm trying to connect to a DaqBook2000 system (via TCP/IP) but the provided vi's do not work. (error 113). Now I want to try to directly send command string but i need the right syntax, which is only given in Delphi, and that is not my strongest point.

You might want to try first running the TCP/IP communication examples that ship with LabVIEW. They are in Find Examples -> Networking -> Data Client.vi and Data Server.vi. You could at least eliminate the problem with the provided VIs and just focus on getting the syntax correct.

Does anyone have experience using Oracle Large Objects (LOB's) -
specifically the CLOB datatype? Forte supports Oracle LONG's but given that
Oracle is going to phase out that datatype and they're trying to push users
towards CLOB's instead of LONG's, I want to find out if Forte can handle it
and, if so, what we should know about mapping Forte datatypes to the Oracle
CLOB. [Their compatibility matrix for v3.5 indicates suppport under Oracle
8.1.x, and CLOB's were introduced back in 8.0.x - but the word from Forte is
that they currently don't support it.]
    thanks in advance.

  • Does anyone have experience with Iogear GBU 421? My MacPro has no in-built Bluetooth.

Does anyone have experience with Iogear GBU 421? My MacPro has no in-built Bluetooth.

My 2010 Mac Pro does have built in bluetooth but I use the IOGear GBU421 instead.  That's because the built in bluetooth on the mac pro suck$ if you are more than about 3 feet from the machine.
See the descussion: Poor Bluetooth reception and jerky mouse
It works but you need to get used to its "quirks".  If you sleep your machine like I do the dongle is off because there is no USB power when sleeping for the dongle.  So you need some wired USB device to wake the machine.  In my case I use my wired keyboard.
When waking up it doesn't always become paired immediately (maybe 30% of the time).  Then you need to flip the mouse switch to get it active.  Interesting enough I don't have that problem with the trackpad.
Most of the time, in the rear occasions I reboot my machine, the mouse is ready to go.
Once you get used to the "quirks" it's no big deal.  Hey, for about $9 what do you want?
By the way I also always keep a wired mouse attached as a backup.

  • Does anyone have experience with unzipping a password-encrypted ZipFile??

Does anyone have experience with unzipping a password-encrypted ZipFile??
My Zip Class works fine with every unencrypted file, but when I try to open an encrypted one, i get an error Message ("Encrypted ZIP entry not supported")
Is ist impossible to unzip encrypted ZIPs???

I've searched around a little bit and THIS IS THE SOLUTION!
There is a (beta)version of winzip8 that uses a cli (command line interface)
So, all you have to do is to implement a Runtime.getRuntime().exec(...) in your java program to call winzip8 and pass the zipfile path and the password.
    Here's the URL: http://www.winzip.com/wzcline.htm

  • Does anyone have experience with Virgin or Boost Mobile?

I have been with verizon for a long time...I have 4 lines with this service. I have since bought several phones off of craigslist or ebay just so I wouldn't have to be subjected to the tier plan. We use so much data it's crazy. I want the new Samsung Galaxy S4 so bad!!! Grrr! I've even thought about switching to Virgin Mobile or Boost Mobile. We pay so much for our phones now and I know of one guy who has boost mobile and loves it. Does anyone have experience with these providers?

BC's CRM is part of the package, Salesforce is of course more dedicated. That pretty much sum's up these sorts of use cases.

  • Does anyone have experience running PXI-8170 in RT 7.1 or 8.0?

I've got a PXI-8170 controller that I'm looking to run as a RT target under labview 7.1 or 8. I was wondering if anyone has experience running this device as a RT controller for newer RT versions and what their experience with the various ethernet adapter cards has been (PXI-8211, PXI-8212, PXI-8231, PXI-8232). Does this setup work? There's hardly any talk about this in the forums, which could either be a good thing (people don't have problems with this setup) or a bad thing (no one is actually using this controller anymore.)
    Thanks!
    Will Bertsche

Here is a good document about using the 8170 as an RT target. It explains how you should use PXI-8211 or PXI-8212 ethernet controlles (and not the PXI-8210)
    http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/websearch/E3327E5EED9EB40686256A31005ACA8A?OpenDocument
As for using it with LabVIEW, the hardware meets the minimum system requirements for 7.1 but not 8.0.
It will work great as an RT controller, but I suggest developing on a newer computer.

since upgrading to OS lion, my mac book pro (2010 August) keeps freezing (non responsive, requires restart) when i turn on my mac and the system is trying to open apple mail. while apple mail is attempting to collect new mail, the macbook pro freezes. this happens every 2nd time i try to start up my computer. this only started happening after i upgraded to OS lion. please let me know what I need to do to fix this. being forced to restart every 2nd time i turn on my macbook pro has been very frustrating. not sure if apple mail is also the cause of my macbook pro for being very slow during start-up (on the occasion the computer doesn't freeze).

I am having similar 'freezing' problems with many programs (Mail, Safari, iTunes, etc.). I have done a clean install of Lion instead of an upgrade when it came out. Perhaps something went wrong with my install? I'm thinking about wiping and reinstalling.

Photoshop cs6 won't allow me to highlight my existing text layers. I select the text tool and the text layer I want to edit, hover over text and each time I attempto to edit a new layer is created. Does anyone have experience with this problem?

Be sure you go to Adobe's Web Site and make sure there are no Updates for CS6
    http://www.adobe.com
Remember if you have trouble with a software issue it is the software and not caused by the Mac you are using
Many users simply don't remember when you upgrade software you normally have to go to 3rd party web sites and update software as well.

  • Urgent help!  does anyone has sample code to do encry in c & decry in java

Does anyone has a very simple code to encrypt a string in c (openssl for example) and then decrypt the same string in java?
it should be very simple but i just can get the ball rolling. i always get different data (even in hex string representation) using the same key and plain text (all in hex) to even just do encryption (not even decryption yet). To my understanding, DES is just bits manipulation. So the output bit pattern should be the same regardless C or Java, right?
for example, in openssl, when i do ecb:
    the key:
    0123456789ABCDEF
    the plain text:
    0101010101010101
    the in:
    0101010101010101
    the out:
    B4FD231647A5BEC0
but doing the same in java i got
    3A2EAD12F475D82C as the encryption output
    It is very strange.
    Hope someone could help me.
    Thanks
