Does anyone have a SAP CRM Table Relations Diagram? !!

Hello,
For R/3 I have a document containing the relation between the most important database tables. Does anyone have a similar document for SAP CRM? (5.0).
Since I'm new to SAP CRM I would really appreciate if someone could send such a document to me at <removed by SDN Forum Moderator>
(To vikash krishna: I never received the document so I try by posting again...)
Thanks,
Jeroen

Hi,
https://websmp208.sap-ag.de/solutions
In this navigate through, Business solutions and applications -> MySAP Business Suite -> MySAP CRM -> solution library -> CRM powered by Netweaver -> Process Integration -> Business objects.
There you will find table relationships.
Hope this helps.

  • Does anyone have a GRACoL compatible CIE chromaticity diagram I can use?

I need to illustrate an article about color theory, and would like to use the famous horseshoe-shaped CIE chromaticity diagram. Does anyone know where I can locate one suitable for printing in CMYK (GRACoL profile)?
(I am aware that the diagram illustrates a space much larger than can be printed. I'm going to use it to illustrate a concept, so the mismatch is not a problem for me.)

    From "Meausuring Color"
"... Because these ratios of the tristimulus values are incorporated as cube-roots, there can be no chromaticity diagram associated with the CIELAB space, and therefore no correlate of saturation. This is because the definition of a chromaticity diagram requires that any mixture of two colours falls on the straight line joining those two colours: in CIELAB space this line would not be straight because of the cube-root transformation."
    I don't have any exact idea ...
I think that ... top views in CIELab look like the projections of the perceptually uniformed and so deformed RGB cubes ... preserving their hexogonal structures.
It is like getting the HLS represantation of a RGB cube by projecting it on a plane as a hexagon,

Does anyone have idea on subscreens in IW21 transaction ?
When I go through the available user-extis for IW21 I can see QQMA0008,
QQMA0010, QQMA0011 and QQMA0012 as the user exit for notification item, cause, task and activity respectively.
My requirement is to assign user specific data ( pre-structure in Z-table) to these catalog codes instead of selecting directly in iw21(by using F4). Do you think the above mentioned user-exits will help me out in this case?
Can you please brief idea on how to work on these subscreen user exits ?
    Grateful to your help.

    Hi,
Have you tried Transaction Variants in your scenario?
Transaction variants simplify transaction flow by:
    Inserting default values in fields
Changing the ready for input status of fields
Hiding various screen elements and menu functions, or even entire screens
    Adjusting table control settings
For more information on this pls refer":

  • My MacBook Pro is running very slow.  I've run repair permissions without positive result.  Does anyone have any ideas?

My MacBook Pro (2010) is runnign very slow.  This came on all of a sudden.  It opens, closes, reboots, etc., all much slower than ever before.  I have used the repair disk permissions without any positive result.  Does anyone have any ideas?

First, back up all data immediately, as your boot drive might be failing.
Take these steps when you notice the problem.
    Step 1
Launch the Activity Monitor application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Activity Monitor in the icon grid.
Select the CPU tab of the Activity Monitor window.
Select All Processes from the menu in the toolbar, if not already selected.
Click the heading of the % CPU column in the process table to sort the entries by CPU usage. You may have to click it twice to get the highest value at the top. What is it, and what is the process? Also post the values for % User, % System, and % Idle at the bottom of the window.
Select the System Memory tab. What values are shown in the bottom part of the window for Page outs and Swap used?
Next, select the Disk Activity tab. Post the approximate values shown for Reads in/sec and Writes out/sec (not Reads in and Writes out.)
    Step 2
You must be logged in as an administrator to carry out this step.
Launch the Console application in the same way as above. Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left.
Post the 50 or so most recent messages in the log — the text, please, not a screenshot.
When posting a log extract, be selective. Don't post more than is requested.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into a message.
Important: Some personal information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Edit it out before posting.

After the upgrade to ios5, I can no longer use my iPad to make purchases on ticketmaster.  Does anyone have a solution?

Apple changed MobileMe to iCloud and then restricted iCloud to 10.7 users only unfortunately
If your machine is a 64 bit processor Intel Mac you can upgrade to 10.7 for $29, however a lot of your 10.5/10.6/Rosetta based software could cease to function, especially third party hardware drivers for printers, fax machines, all-in-ones, scanners etc.
    http://roaringapps.com/apps:table
Also depending how old the machine is, if it can accept 4GB of RAM (preferred), older video card, may not run 10.7 very well or stable.
My advice is to keep at 10.6.8, get a web based email service that's plaform/hardware neutral, forward your iPhone emails there. Gmail/Yahoo Mail for instance.
When your ready for new hardware and all new software, then buy a new machine.
If your going to go to 10.7 on your present hardware, I advise you clone 10.6.8 to a external drive first, that way you can c boot off the 10.6 disk erase the drive completely (necessary to remove hidden Lion Recovery Partition) and option boot off the 10.6.8 clone and reverse clone.

You may not have the iPod's Music tab set up in iTunes, which is how you tell iTunes how to automatically sync your iPod.
Select the iPod in iTunes.  There is a row of "tabs" (starting with Summary).  Click on Music there.
To use automatic syncing, the checkbox for Sync Music is checked.  Below that, you can choose to sync Entire music library, if it fits.  Otherwise, you can choose to sync Select playlists, artists, albums, and genres.
With the latter choice, you can create a selection of songs to sync to the iPod by selecting (checkmarking) playlists, artists, albums, and/or genres on the Music tab.  For example, you can make a playlist in iTunes with all the songs you want on the iPod.  That new album needs to be on that playlist, if you want those songs synced to the iPod.  On the Music tab, checkmark that playlist.
When you Apply the change, your selection of songs sync to the iPod (replacing its existing content). Going forward, any changes in the iTunes Music library that are related to your selection of songs on the Music tab sync automatically to the iPod when you connect it, or when you click Sync.
Therefore, if you create a playlist with songs you want on the iPod, and select it on the iPod's Music tab, you can simply update that playlist in iTunes (add and remove songs), and those changes sync to the iPod automatically at the next opportunity.

  • Does anyone have URL replacement working for catalog generated from wiki pages library

    Hi everyone,
I have created a catalog from a wiki library which surfaces news/event/announcement articles to a publishing site (with make URLs relative to this site selected).  This works well after modifying the item page and specifying the content as HTML regarding
    the functioning of category/item pages.
The only issue which remains is that hyperlinks between wiki pages are not replaced in the target site (they always point to the wiki pages within the authoring site collection rather than to their catalog counterparts in the publishing site).  It is
my understanding that with publishing pages from a pages library these links are replaced to point to other items in the catalog connected site rather than the source.
Is this just by design (only working for publishing pages rather than wiki pages), or does anyone have this replacement working?
If this does not work it kind of defeats the purpose of the catalog here and I might as well give everyone access to the authoring library and just use a CSWP in the publishing site to redirect to the authoring wikis.  Not terribly nice from a layout,
    navigational or conceptual standpoint though.

Just to add a bit more info to this... looking at the coreclient.log file you can plainly see that the page view took 50367ms to complete.... if anyone has any ideas, it would be greatly appreciated.

  • Does anyone have experience of the OWC Mercury Extreme SSD?

    Hi everyone
I read Lloyd Chambers [interesting article|http://macperformanceguide.com/Reviews-SSD-OWC-Mercury_Extreme.html] about the Mercury Extreme. In particular he seems to have found very little performance degradation with heavy use.
I guess this would make us Mac users very happy since TRIM is unsupported by OS X (or have I got that wrong?).
Does anyone have real-world experience of this SSD yet?
    /p

I could be wrong - but my understanding is that GC and TRIM are two separate things (and the need to do them with the new OWC drive as well)
GC is a way to re-organize the data to avoid using blocks that were marked as part of the write amplification done on the drive. (i.e. to write 1mb, you had to actually write 1.3mb on the device - and how to re-organize the .3mb when the file is overwritten)
TRIM actually clears the blocks that are no longer in use when a file is overwritten or deleted. The problem is that the device has no way to know what to clear - it needs to understand what the OS requires and what it does not require... and so it can't do it by itself as it needs to be aware of the filesystem. (NTSF/ZFS or in our case, HFS+). Instead the firmware just makes available the ability for the OS to go ahead and clear the bocks... that is TRIM support - the OS has to now delete the file (from the FS table etc) and then issues a TRIM on that file, allowing the device to clearing the blocks that are excessively used by the operation.
In the case of the OWC - there is no much technical information out there to describe how it trims without knowing anything about the filesystem. Mind you - its not been out long enough to get tested by a large number of people. Some think that its using part of the cache to handle these cases - (if you know the ratio of amplification, then you could build a large cache to deal with the physical space)
I think the secret for the OWC drive (and the OCZ Vertex 2 Pro) is the write amplification - which is less than the one from Intel. The less write amplification - the less need for GC and less blocks you need to clear by TRIM. A Harddrive has an amplification ratio of 1, OWC has (I think) 0.6 and Intel 1.1 - how do they achieve 0.6? On the fly compression and deduplication of data streams... (similar to what ZFS does at the filesystem level). I think part of the OWC 56Gb cache is used for the deduplication reference table as well... but when doing this - you have to be 2x carefull - if you loose part of the deduplication table for example, you loose not one file to corruption, but a huge chunk of your harddrive... as that pattern could be found in a lot of places... BTW - that is also how they achieve better longevity, they have to write less data that is produced... less writes, more life.
Now - as of experience - none... I think it's a nice drive... It seems they have taken some thought on setting apart a large (18%) of their drive to avoid problem and try to suck all the performance possible. But its still the basic SSD drive - just with hardware compression to minimize the impact. OWC obviously does not make them - some one is OEMing them for them. The support is what I would wonder on this drive. But based on Lloyd's experience, it seems to be a good contender on your list.
    Just remember to backup often..

  • Does anyone have opinions about at

Does anyone have experience with or opinions about the free McAfee security suite offerd by At&t U-Verse? I would also ask the same about OpenDNS, which seemed to work fine on my old Mac. Thanks

The McAfee product is much worse than useless.
This is a comment on OpenDNS and other public domain-name system (DNS) services, such as Google DNS. You should use such a service if it solves a problem for you, and not if it creates problems you don't already have. To summarize:
    1. Using public DNS will probably not make your network faster, and may make it slower.
    2. It will probably not stop your browser from being redirected when you try to connect to a valid web address.
    3. It will not make you safer from malware attacks.
    4. It could cause confidential information to be compromised.
    5. It has other privacy implications that you should be aware of.
A DNS server resolves the human-readable "domain name" of an Internet host, such as www.apple.com, to the numerical address by which that host can be reached. The process is analogous to looking up a phone number by name. There is no chance that changing the DNS server you use will have any effect on a network problem not related to name resolution.
There are two valid reasons why you might want to use a public DNS service:
The DNS servers provided by your ISP are misconfigured (perhaps deliberately) or don't perform well.
You have a use for the filtering controls provided by OpenDNS and others.
Although some DNS services are touted as responding faster than others, there will be no noticeable difference if your ISP is delivering what you pay for. Most likely, the difference in response time among the DNS servers available to you is on the order of a hundredth of a second or less. But under some conditions, public DNS will significantly slow down network performance. Here is a case in point.
A content-distribution network (CDN), such as the one used by Apple to deliver software updates and iTunes content, relies on the location of the DNS server to optimize performance. If your query goes to a distant server, you may get slow downloads of Apple content, among other things. From the report of a test carried out by a networking consultant:
We listed 9 CDNs that would benefit from supporting/using edns-client-subnet, and only two actually support edns-client-subnet: CDN77 and ChinaCache. Others, including Akamai, Internap and CDNetworks, do not currently. This really is too bad, because from the performance data we collected, it is clear these CDNs deliver (much) worse performance currently in many countries to Google DNS and OpenDNS users.
Another reason often given for using public DNS is to avoid "redirection," that is, false results from a query for a valid domain name. Ethical ISP's do not intentionally redirect valid DNS queries, though it might happen unintentionally because of a misconfiguration; for example, because the address of a network host has recently changed, or because of a "poisoning" attack on the DNS server. Note that many ISP's may, and OpenDNS certainly will, redirect invalid queries to ad sites, in violation of published standards for DNS.
Recently, a few low-quality commercial ISP's such as "CenturyLink" have taken to deliberately redirecting DNS queries for some domains, such as search engines. Do not tolerate this practice. If your ISP is doing it, then you should demand that the redirection be stopped, or else switch to another ISP.
Some ISP's have been said to route all DNS queries to their own name servers, regardless of where the queries were directed—another intolerable practice. I haven't heard that any commercial ISP is now doing this, but if yours is, you won't be able to use a public DNS service, even if you change the network settings on your computer or router.
Of course, if your Internet access is provided by an employer or institution, rather than by a commercial ISP, then you have to take whatever you get.
The claims on the OpenDNS website that it blocks malware attacks such as "Flashback" are false advertising. A DNS service does not and cannot block anything. All it can do is to selectively refuse to answer queries. It's trivial for a malware attacker to evade such controls. It's just as easy to evade the parental controls offered by OpenDNS. Nevertheless, you may find those control features useful, despite their limitations. Here is an example of an ASC user who had undesirable results from OpenDNS content filtering.
There is one limited exception to the rule that OpenDNS and Google DNS don't improve performance. The "prefetching" performed by modern web browsers, including Safari, may confuse some DNS servers, with the effects described in this Apple Support article. The article suggests testing OpenDNS, Google DNS, or another third-party DNS service as a possible way to overcome the problem.
If you need to switch DNS providers because of a misconfiguration of your ISP's servers, the change will most likely only need to be temporary. The problem may be resolved automatically within a matter of hours.
If you're considering whether to use public DNS, such as OpenDNS, on a long-term basis, you should take into account the privacy implications. As a user of the free service, you are not an OpenDNS customer, and the service provider—a for-profit corporation—doesn't have a contract with you. The marketers to whom OpenDNS sells access and information are its customers.
OpenDNS will know, and store, the address of every Internet server you use from now on. This is from its privacy policy:
When you use our Services, OpenDNS stores certain DNS, IP address and related information about you to improve the quality of our Service, to provide you with Services and for internal business and analysis purposes.
Concerning personal information, the policy states:
...[I]t is disclosed to entities that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other entities with whom we have joint marketing agreements...
You can't opt out of those disclosures. Read the privacy policy carefully and draw your own conclusions. The privacy policy of Google DNS seems to be somewhat more benign, but again, you should judge for yourself.
That's not the worst of it, though. The practice of hijacking nonexistent domains followed by most public DNS services could result in leaking confidential information to a hacker:
For example, consider the "same origin trust model" used for Web cookies. If you're holding a cookie for GOOGLE.COM and you can be fooled into following a link to KJHSDFKJHSKJHMJHER.GOOGLE.COM, and the resulting NXDOMAIN response is remapped into a positive answer to some advertising server, then you're going to send your cookie to that advertising server when you send your HTTP GET request there. Not such a bad thing for a GOOGLE.COM cookie, but a real problem for a BANKOFAMERICA.COM cookie.
NXDOMAIN remapping is not something that only happens when you randomly mistype a domain name.  It can be exploited deliberately by malicious links placed on any web page. In the case of OpenDNS, the result would be that a cookie intended for another server would be sent to the OpenDNS web server instead. A rogue OpenDNS employee, or anyone who managed to break into the web server, might then be able to impersonate you on another website. If this scenario seems far-fetched, it's the stuff that network exploits are made of.
See also a brief, and somewhat outdated, critique of OpenDNS on a Harvard Law School blog, with a response from the company's founder.

  • Does anyone have experience with Virgin or Boost Mobile?

I have been with verizon for a long time...I have 4 lines with this service. I have since bought several phones off of craigslist or ebay just so I wouldn't have to be subjected to the tier plan. We use so much data it's crazy. I want the new Samsung Galaxy S4 so bad!!! Grrr! I've even thought about switching to Virgin Mobile or Boost Mobile. We pay so much for our phones now and I know of one guy who has boost mobile and loves it. Does anyone have experience with these providers?

BC's CRM is part of the package, Salesforce is of course more dedicated. That pretty much sum's up these sorts of use cases.

My purpose for copying to a CD or DVD is so that I can make copies and send to friends and relatives. What is the best way to get these files on a CD/DVD with the right codecs?
The easiest thing to do is to simply tell your friends and relatives to copy the files to their local hard drive before playing them. Your basic problem is that data discs have a limited real time transfer rate. Since you say VLC plays the files fine, I might suspect its player is likely buffering the data while the QT 7 Player is not.
Data discs made for playback directly from the CD or DVD are normally encoded using MPEG-4/AVC (H.264) video with AAC audio. This is a modern codec which has specific settings to re-package the data (i.e., must be encoded using the multipass option and then select the "optimize for CD/DVD" option).

  • Having trouble opening a pdf with Adobe...keep seeing an error sign "acroExch"  does anyone have a way to fix this?

Having trouble opening a pdf with Adobe...keep seeing an error sign "acroExch"  does anyone have a way to fix this?

Hmm, "Use Adobe Reader" should launch the PDF outside of Firefox in the stand-alone Adobe Reader application, so seeing it in a tab is something of a puzzle.
Could you check your version of Adobe Reader? For Windows 7, you normally would have the Reader XI series (Reader 11), which has had several updates. From inside Adobe Reader, you can use Help > Check for Updates to make sure it's current.
In Firefox, could you check your Adobe Acrobat plugin version or possibly versions? You can view that on the Add-ons page. Either:
    * Ctrl+Shift+a
    * "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Plugins. If you find multiple versions, this can cause problems and may need to be cleaned up manually (post back on that for suggestions).
Sometimes, the settings file which stores those download handler preferences becomes corrupted and there's not much else to do than to rename or remove that file and let Firefox rebuild it.
To do that, open your current Firefox settings (AKA Firefox profile) folder using either
    * "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Troubleshooting Information
    * (menu bar) Help > Troubleshooting Information
    * type or paste about:support in the address bar and press Enter
In the first table on the page, click the "Show Folder" button. This will launch a new window (Windows Explorer window) listing various settings files.
Leaving that window open, switch back to Firefox and Exit, either:
    * "3-bar" menu button > "power" button
    * (menu bar) File > Exit
Pause while Firefox finishes its cleanup, then rename '''mimeTypes.rdf''' to something like mimeTypes.old
Start Firefox back up again and "PDF Files" should be back to their default setting of "Preview in Firefox". Try changing that to "Use Adobe Acrobat (in Firefox)" and test to see whether there's any improvement.

  • I can't open any attachments on gmail, does anyone have any suggestions as to how to fix?

I can't seem to open up any attachments in gmail.   Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to fix?   Thank you

    Hello Jim,
Thank you for providing the details of the issue you are experiencing with opening attachments in Mail on your iPad.
I recommend following these steps for an issue like this (you can skip 4 because it does not relate to the issue you are experiencing and any other steps you may have taken):
If a single application is not responding or stops responding when it opens, you can force it to close.
If the device is unresponsive or if certain controls aren't working as expected, restart your device.
If the device remains unresponsive or does not turn on (or power on),reset your device.
If there is no video or if the screen remains black, verify that the device has enough charge to turn on:
If you are using an iPad, ensure that it's connected to the USB Power Adapter supplied with the device.
Let charge for at least twenty minutes, then see if it starts normally.
If there is no image on the screen, press the Sleep/Wake button to attempt to wake the device.
If the screen displays a red battery icon, continue charging the device until the battery is fully charged.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, or the if the screen remains black or shows a persistent Apple logo, try restoring with iTunes:
Connect the device to your computer and open iTunes.
If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane. Learn more about restoring iOS software.
If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try to force the device into recovery mode, and then restore it.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, contact Apple.
You can find the full article here:

Yes, I agree entirely. I'm trying to change it and show people quite how prevalent the problem might be, especially considering I had a corruption issue when trying to clone the database directly related to NOLOGGING. The entire datafile showed signs of corruption, not just the objects which were directly affected.
