The best approach would be to write your own native installer that takes care of this as a post uninstall and also sub launches the AIR uninstaller. If this is active development, you might want to look into AIR 3's new install options. Oliver has a great write up here:

Does anyone know of apps that cause heavy drains on power? It also does not charge when it is plugged into my MacBook while I am using the iPad but it does when I am not using the iPad. I mostly use the iPad to read e-mails, play Team Lava games, read books through iBooks or Kobo and the ABC Player. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Restore is about the only option left, short reinstalling the whole thing as new.
Before you restore, go to I tunes and turn off automatic sync. Then plug the machine in. Upload any photos that you have taken with the pad into I photos, or where ever you keep your pictures. Then, in I tunes, transfer any purchases.
If any apps or purchased music get lost in the process, you can download them again for free.
You do not want to make a backup of what you have on the pad now. If you do, when you restore, you will simply recreate the same problem.
What you want to do is restore from a prior backup. Do that.
Then run the system status app and see what the CPU numbers look like. If they are ok, then you can start to re add apps until the problem shows up.
If this does not do it, then the last step is to set the pad up as new. Check the numbers, then add the apps and settings back one by one. While it is likely to be an app, it may be a setting somewhere.

There are many icons inside the new weather app in iPhone update IOS7 which are difficult to understand. Can you confirm our best guess that the weather for Wednesday and Thursday will be windy? Hope we are right. Does anyone have a chart that deciphers all of those symbols?

Thank you Templeton. Much apprecaite your answers and how swiftly they arrived. There are other symbols that we find confusing. I can't replicate more of them right now. But if you, or anyone knows of a chart that has interpreted most of them, I would be very grateful. I have beeen looking online for quite some time, and am surprised this hasn't been done...at the very least by Apple or Yahoo.

This used to be available as a 3rd party app on older systems but I haven't seen it currently.
Sherlock just finds locations as a listing.

The easiest way is to use iPhoto, just drag the picture in to it. To resize it select the picture and in the menu bar "FILE - EXPORT". You can preform basic editing and corrections by double clicking on the picture.

I am trying to get an applet to connect to the Oracle lite DB

We have the same problem with that platform, but we get a
java.security.AccessControlException: access denied (java.lang.RuntimePermission loadLibrary.oljdbc40)
exception.

Firefox will not play .ogv video files when loaded from a server. Does anyone have any answers that will fix this?

I've read the suggestions for fixing this, and none of them work. I've updated my .htaccess to match MIME types for .ogv, I've uploaded the files as both Binary and ASCII, neither method works. The .ogv file plays fine when you load it from a local file, but it will not play when viewed from a remote server. I've confirmed with my hosting company that the .htaccess and all other issues for HTML5 are up-to-date. Safari and Chrome play the HTML5 videos just fine, but Firefox will not. Does anyone have any concrete answers as to what the problem is. I'm also serving up the video files as .webm and .mp4, but neither of these formats works in Firefox either.

That can happen if the server isn't configured properly to send the files with a by Firefox supported MIME type.

Did you check via the Web Console which headers Firefox receives when requesting the .ogv file?
If that is OK then it is possible that the file is using an unsupported coding method.

Symbolism 2.6 Does Anyone Have This App?

I just downloaded this app last week. I saw alot of good reviews so I decided to get this app. This is a game app that is very much like the pc game Alchemy. It is suppose to have online wi-fi capabilities for chat, but as soon as it says I am logged in, I get this message unable to connect to Feint. This app is made by Chewsoft, and used OpenFeint to connect to chat, see scores, ect. My wi-fi is on, and working, and my settings allow for this app to work, so I can't understand why it won't connect.
Does anyone else have this app?

So today I went to an official Apple store and did some tests. As you said, the problem was the cord itself. My Iphone it's only two weeks old, so I guess the warranty will carry with a new one. As I need the phone, I decided to buy another cord. In the end, I guess I'll have two cords, which is not such a bad deal.

Does anyone have a PC that can successfully use an Airport Extreme?

All PC units can not connect to my AirPort extreme wireless network. All iPods and Macs can connect just fine. Does anyone know what could cause this or heard anything like it?

If you remove the password, and they can join & get an IP; then try the various settings to see what doesn't work. WEP usually for PCs sometimes requires the obnoxious 24 character translation passcode.
I have tried to remove the password and make the wifi completly free to any PC to connect to it, but it's still gives me the same problem.

DOES ANYONE HAVE AN IPHONE THAT MAKES...

Coffee for you in the mornings? Haha, just kidding about that, but I really do have an interesting issue. The other morning I received a phone call from a friend...I answered it and all was great, but it brought me back to the main screen and not the passcode screen. I have that feature on, and I just turned my iPhone on. How in the world did it "unlock" the passcode without me doing anything? Now if you thought that was weird, what about this issue. So I turned the iPhone off and back on again and it was perfectly fine even after I got a call, back to normal right? Well not quite. That afternoon, I typed in my passcode and it didn't MOVE at all, It was sorta "stuck" with all 4 numbers in place...I actually could type in 4 numbers and get no response, so I delete all 4. Type it in again and it clears the entire thing out saying nothing like invalid, I type it in again and it goes. Why do I need to type the passcode in twice sometimes? It just started to happen and I didn't change any setting recently. I appreciate the advice. I will try to restore it when the next update comes out, but I just don't have the time. I have the 8 GB model.

I sort of recall having an issue unlocking long ago (couple of firmware versions ago). Have also had crashes of Safari or Maps. Have had SMS not open for me. Various things. Reset always fixed it. As each firmware comes out, I have had less issues but like I mentioned in that thread I linked to, I do a reset at least once a week just to do one. That alone could be why I am getting less issues.
