Does anyone have any suggestions to improve the performance to improve Firefox for andoid (more details).
I'm using it on a Samsung Captivate SGHi-897 with Jellybean 2.2 (I'm unable to upgrade the OS @this time). Firefox was recommended by a freind, however, so far I've been very disappointed with it, as, it is extremely slow and constanly crashes. I've tried all of the suggestions provided, but there is no improvememt. I realize it may be not all that compatible with this properly working device or OS. I have Samsung Galxaxy SGHi-727 Skyrocket with IC 4.1, however, I've been waiting for a part for it coming from Aisa, which seems to be taking forever, so in the meantime I'm.stuck with this. I was wondering if you may have any suggestions on how to speed it up and prevent it from crashing so much, other than what's on your help guide since those changes I've tried make no improvement in it's performance. I would very much prefer to use Firefox on this device, as well as, after I repair my other device for a number of other reasons, but if I'm unable to improve it, I'll just go back to what I was using. Hi. I'm trying to upgrade my 3g iPad 1 software from 3.2.2 to 5.0.1. iTunes tells me that I need to upgrade. It then backs up my iPad OK. But then it won't 'restore' and the upgrade fails.

I have a mac book pro. Yesterday the mail app failed to open. I have tried to open it from the dock and the application folder but nothing happens. Does anyone have any suggestions to get it to work?
You don't need iDVD unless you are going to make DVDs. If you are just trying to share files, iDVD won't help you at all.
What you want to do is in iMovie, choose File/Share/File, and export that way. It creates an .mp4 file that should be readable on Macs or Windows.
You could also File/Share/YouTube if you don't mind posting them to YouTube, because of course YouTube videos are watchable by any Mac or Windows computer made in the last 10 years. -

I have a new laptop and I am trying to download CS3. The site on adobe gives an error message and the one I tried from this forum downloaded CS3 extended, so my serial number does not work. iPhoto keeps crashing! - then needs to repair the library. This is happening each time I import photos or even try to go in to an even and delete photos etc. Does anyone have any suggestions? Please it is so frustrating - I used to love iPhoto - now I regret upgrading to Lion

Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there? -

I have yet to find an email server that does not work with Mail.app. Your solution will be to configure its ports and send/receive protocol according to the email server's requirements.

I have purchased the VGA Connectors for both a iMac and Macbook Pro so that i can connect my promethean board projector to the computer and I can not get the image on the screen. Does anyone have any suggestions?

An adaptor doesn't burn out. It merely serves as a means to connect the power prongs on your device to the power supply.
I believe you are thinking of a transformer, which you do not need. A transformer converts one voltage to another.
You don't need to do that as the power supply of modern electronics can take almost any worldwide voltage.
Look at the label on the device. It should indicate the input power acceptable of 100-240 VAC, 50-60 Hz.
Additionally, I found the adapters cheaper in the UK than I found them in the US. They were available in most supermarket chains. I wasn't in Ireland, so I can't say one way or the other.
If you have something that doesn't have that input power spec, it would require a transformer.
On other items like electric clocks or things with motors, you can connect them up to a transformer and the voltage will be correct, but the frequency may not. For clocks, that will cause them to not keep time well. For motors, they will burn out. -

Presently you can password protect the whole i pad by having to put in a 4 digit code to open it, but once it's open whoever is using it has access to everything you have on it.Skydiver...that did it!! I shut the mail app from automatically opening and now I can sign onto my AOL acct. through Safari!! I had called Apple Care and had asked different peope in Apple stores about this and no one but you had any suggestions! YAY!! Thanks!!!

I have an early 2008 Mac Pro, 8 gb ram with a Dell 27” display and a 42” LG TV. I am thinking about upgrading the stock ATI Radeon 2600 graphics card for better resolution, preferring 2 dvi outputs or 1 dvi and 1 vga vs 1 dvi and a mini. I don't do a lot of Final Cut Pro, gaming, etc. I am interested in best value for the graphics card.
Does anyone have any suggestions on the best graphics card for these larger displays for the best value?
