Hi, does anyone have drivers that will enable a Tascam US-144 (old model) to work with the latest version of Lion? The drivers available on the manufacturer's download site are for a newer model and were not designed specifically to work with Lion. Does anyone have a tried and tested fix for this? Thank you.

Most likely you have Office 2004 which are PPC-only applications and will not work in Lion. Upgrade to Office 2011. Other alternatives are:
Apple's iWork suite (Pages, Numbers, and Keynote.)
Open Office (Office 2007-like suite compatible with OS X.)
NeoOffice (similar to Open Office.)
LibreOffice (a new direction for the Open Office suite.)

I am using photoshop cc 2014.2 And when I use save for Web it gives me a dialog box that says it is using Latin characters I've never seen this before. Does anyone have an answer for this problem or do I need to go back to the older version of Photoshop.

If you have a very old Firefox version then you could consider to uninstall that version to clean up existing registry keys (especial the uninstall key).
Make sure NOT to remove "personal data" when you uninstall Firefox, because that will remove all profile folders and you lose personal data like bookmarks and passwords including data in profiles created by other Firefox versions.
Check the Firefox program folder and remove the Firefox program folder if there are still files left in it.

It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.

Will FieldPoint Controllers work with the latest version of LabView?

I will be upgrading the current LabView that I have on my system to the latest version. The FieldPoint controllers that I am using are FP-1601, FP-AI-112, FP-AO-210, FP-DO-401, FP-TC-120. If these particular controllers will not work, how can I proceed with the upgrade so as to be able to use FieldPoint controllers for the experiment that I am handling?

I think (not certain) that support for the 16xx units was dropped in LabVIEW 2012.

Will my Webroot security work with the latest version of Firegox?

I've gotten several requests from Firefox to u[grade to Firefox 5.0 or whatever the newest version is. I've also gotten warnings that this newest version is incompatible with certain websites or programs, including Webroot security/antivirus/antimalware.
Has this lack of compatibility been resolved, because I don't want to ditch my Webroot security package just to have the latest version of Firefox.

Juno does not work with the latest version of firefox Why?

I would love to install the latest version of Firefox, but when I attempted to It indicated that It was not compatible with my Juno email service, why don't you guys ever include Juno when you do updates? Very frustrating as now my browser experience feels like my computer is dead. I finally gave up and installed Safari which is working at lightning speed. I have same problem, been using a macbook 13" for nearly 9 years but it was failing so I bought a macbook pro 15" and after having problems and error messages when trying to download loops ( I finally went to the App Store and opened garageband from there which install some loops), it finally downloaded some but not all the loops that my jam packs had, also I have tons of non-apple loops that I purchased over the years but I want to know if they will work on my new mac ?

DId you Accept the apps when you bought the Mac? In the App Store go to the Purchases List and press Accept there. Then you'll be able to update. If that's not available then you'll need to contact App Store support.

It was just a hunch that MircoNetFrame was causing the problem. I disabled it as you suggested, and I still have the problem.
I just changed under Tools>Options> General - had checked "ask me every time" under downloads, so instead of asking me, FF saved the download to I know not where. It no longer saves it to the desktop, leaving a duplicate in "my documents".
In windows, I have found unless one knows the entire name of the document, one can never find anything. It isn't listed under recent ''''''__. I can't recall the nomenclature, but the
capability is ridiculous. So, I don't know where that file I just downloaded is!
I downloaded a PDF file, but this happens with all DL's. It was so easy to have them all stacked in one place and I could recall
what I had and when I downloaded it easily.
Do you have any other suggestions other that going back to the old version of FF, which I would rather not do?

Most likely you should be fine. Some of the early i7s might not support it (did the first i7 core have integrated GPU?), but any of the last couple are fine. The nice thing is, that you can always add an aftermarket GPU if you need to, so give it a shot.
I have a Haswell i7 (4770k) in my desktop PC, and it's more than enough. I did a lot of research when I built my PC and my conclusion at the time was that a GPU doesn't offer a sizable performance boost unless you buy a really nice GPU ($400+). The integrated GPU can run all the functions of CS6.
My laptop is an older i5. Not sure which, but I think Sandy Bridge. I can notice the difference in process times between the integrated GPU and discrete (AMD). But only on certain heavy filters and when working with big composites (~2 gb files). But that's an i5 and and older one. That said, the integrated GPU is far more stable, so I usually just put up the lag instead of having the AMD GPU crash my computer.

I had the same problem. It turned out the issue for me was that I had Automatic downloads turned off on my devices!
see below how to turn it on.
Tap Settings > iTunes & App Stores on your device.
Tap Sign In if you're not already signed in to the iTunes Store.
Enter your Apple ID and password.
Tap On/Off switch to enable or disable Automatic Downloads for each content type.

I see all movies and music available to be sync but when I click on the sync button, the process starts, the bottom bar shows an increase in consumed space then nothing happens and the bar goes back as nothing was added.

After a day of trying, both iTunes and my Apple TV are telling me that the episodes of Scooby Doo I purchased are incompatible due to QuickTime. I still don't understand how I purchased something from iTunes that doesn't work with iTunes.

GoPod - Does it work with the latest Ipod firmware?

I have a 5th Gen 60gb iPod and have used goPod in the past to remove the volume cap. But ever since updating my iPod with the latest firmware the volume limit seems to be very quiet compared to what it used to be. Is this because goPod 1.4 doesn't work with the latest firmwire?
Has anyone else had this problem or is it just me going deaf?

I disagree with that rudolfraith.
When I plug my iPod in, launch goPod and then press uncap, it does say that it is now uncapped, but the volume limit is no difference at all. I even tested this by hooking my Ipod up to my PC and recording it capped and uncapped, the levels were exactly the same.
So I feel that goPod v1.4 doesn't work with the latest firmware.
