Does anyone have good flow techniques for UI using LCDUI?

I've been writing J2ME applications for quite some time and I find that designing the ui flow can sometimes be a real headache so I was wondering if anyone had good ideas about controlling the flow when designing a UI using LCDUI.

I see that 288 other interested parties have viewed this posting, but I do not see a response. I have a short program in basic that we created some years ago that I was about to convert to LabView. We created the program for both flange taps and pipe taps. If you were successful in creating a LabView version, I would love to share it. If not, I will continue working on my version and post it here later.

Does anyone have any efficient techniques for saving mail on more than one machine and in the cloud (I need offline access). Trying to avoid endless message copying.

I've been in an administrative job at my university, in which I needed to be able to access lots of past email conversations. I ended up saving *everything* religiously, by copying each email or conversation into an "On My Mac" folder on either my home or office machine, flagging it as copied, then unflagging it and moving it to a like folder on the other machine. As a result I'v now got a trillion folders for various aspects of my job, filled with quite a few messages that I probably no longer even need, but they're way too many to go through and delete one by one. Unfortunately, I haven't made much use of the iCloud folders, but I'm so tired of having to essentially manually sync my stored mail in the manner I just described, that I'm thinking of starting to file everything to iCloud folders. The downside of that is that obviously if the internet is down and a given folder wasn't refreshed before it went down, I won't have access to the saved mail.
Moreover, I'm about to step down from the admin post -- within about 6 months a lot of what I saved won't be needed at all, and going forward, I won't need to save nearly the same quantity of messages for later reference. I'd like to come up with some viable "triage" strategies for limiting the mail I do save.
This is really just an open question: Does anyone have any good mail filing and storage techniques that you'd be willing to share? I'm especially interested in criteria you use for what you save and don't save, and where/how you save it.

Well, the one set up on exchange 2k3 is now working fine, although no changes were made on either the iPhone or the exchange side, so that's fun, but it still is throwing errors when connecting to the other 2 exchange accounts. The common elements are that both non-functioning exchange accounts are google apps for business accounts. So is one of the ones that's working, by the way. The settings on both accounts are the same as the one that's working, and both worked fine before the 8.3 upgrade. I have no issue accessing both of these accounts on my ipad which is currently on 8.2.x. If it's not the iphone OS at fault, I'm at a loss as to what it could be.

1) download one of the Buffy fonts @ font space, just as Hans-Günter wrote.
2) go to FontSquirrel, and use the web font generator: http://www.fontsquirrel.com/tools/webfont-generator
3) load up your buffy font, and generate the web font.
4) download the zip package, and check out the included demo file
Copy all the font files (all four of them) to your web folder. Then copy the code that looks like this to the top of your css:

In the Paths panel, click the flyout menu (in the top right of the panel) and choose Make Selection (this option will only be available if you have a path selected). Reduce the Feather Radius to 0 (zero) and click OK. This setting will be the default even when clicking the Load Path as Selection button.

Does anyone have URL replacement working for catalog generated from wiki pages library

Hi everyone,
I have created a catalog from a wiki library which surfaces news/event/announcement articles to a publishing site (with make URLs relative to this site selected). This works well after modifying the item page and specifying the content as HTML regarding
the functioning of category/item pages.
The only issue which remains is that hyperlinks between wiki pages are not replaced in the target site (they always point to the wiki pages within the authoring site collection rather than to their catalog counterparts in the publishing site). It is
my understanding that with publishing pages from a pages library these links are replaced to point to other items in the catalog connected site rather than the source.
Is this just by design (only working for publishing pages rather than wiki pages), or does anyone have this replacement working?
If this does not work it kind of defeats the purpose of the catalog here and I might as well give everyone access to the authoring library and just use a CSWP in the publishing site to redirect to the authoring wikis. Not terribly nice from a layout,
navigational or conceptual standpoint though.

Just to add a bit more info to this... looking at the coreclient.log file you can plainly see that the page view took 50367ms to complete.... if anyone has any ideas, it would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone have a PC that can successfully use an Airport Extreme?

All PC units can not connect to my AirPort extreme wireless network. All iPods and Macs can connect just fine. Does anyone know what could cause this or heard anything like it?

Hi,
on your KMShost, if that is a WindowsServer OS, you cannot use a WindowsClient (WinVista/Win7/Win8/Win8.1) KMShost product key, you must use a WindowsServer KMShost product key.
Further, the KMShost product key must match the OS of the KMShost machine (or exceed/better it).
e.g. if your KMShost machine is WS2008R2, you must use a WS2008R2 (or higher e.g. WS2012 or WS2012R2) product key.
If you will use a higher product key, you will need to install the relevant patch package to do so.
When you install a Windows KMShost product key onto a machine, the Windows KMShost product key completely replaces the previous Windows product key of that machine [it serves two purposes, (1) replace the previous key, (2) activates the KMShost feature].
So, your KMShost is neither licensed as MAK nor KMS, it becomes a KMShost.
For WS2008R2 KMShosts, you can install one of 3 types (channels/groups) of KMshost pkey.
The channel/group pkey you choose, is based upon the maximum product editions you wish to perform KMSclient activations for.

For your issue #2, are you attempting to install your Windows7 KMS key upon the KMShost or a KMSclient?
For your issue #3, are you attempting this upon a KMSclient? (Volume License editions on Win7Pro or Win7Ent, are already pre-loaded with a KMSclient pkey, so you should have no need to alter the client keys). As previously mentioned, no Win7 key is needed/possible
for the KMShost, if the KMShost is WS2008R2.
For your issue #4, yes, your WS2008R2 KMShost can also act as KMShost for Office2010 and/or Office2013, this requires a further patch, and the installation of the relevant Office KMShost pkey.

I'm looking for a good new inkjet printer, with photo quality, for my macmini and a good price.
Everytime I find a good printer, I check on this forum and I find problems on install the printer tools on macintel.
Does anybody here recommends a good printer or multifunction that works fine (with all tools) on macintel?

Generally the printer utilities are part of the driver, so if the driver is UB then you would hope that the utils are the same.
I am not aware of any site that gives you the info you want. I also don't know without looking of an exact model of HP or Epson that have UB drivers. But if you have a look at the download section of their respective web sites you can see that there are UB drivers available.
Like I said before, if the model is very new then there is a very good chance that UB drivers exist. So if you have an idea of what you want, check their web site to make sure they have a UB driver before you buy.

I have had enough with Verizon Wireless and their lack of service and NO WAY to contact tech support. Which of you brave people will speak up and answer this question? Any way to get answers on ANYTHING to do with lack of phone service, no connection, weak signal/no signal, lack of coverage, etc. Why am I having to ask this question in a "community" forum? Why isn't there a link on this useless website for something other than spending money, buying new equipment, upping my contract? You may search the web to find a ready made template but this is really a do-it-yourself type of situation that you tailor to meet your needs. Not being a landlord, I can only guess as to how i would set this up. And after using it for awhile I'm sure that modifications would be required to meet situations I had not expected.
At any rate, perhaps the simple example below will get you thinking. All the formulas are simple addition/subtraction or SUM() situations so I've not listed them. If you need help however, feel free to ask.
