Does anyone have Lion and can connect to Windows servers?

Is there anyone out there who can see the Windows server folders? Or am I (and a handful of others) the only ones who are having this issue? Is ANYBODY able to connect to their Windows server with Lion? (they dropped SMB support in Lion...this is why I'm asking).

What servers are you connecting to? Here at work they use:
windows server 2003
standard edition
32bit
No luck with me. I can connect to wifi internet, but can't access any of the shared folders anymore (I could with SL)

Same problem for me: Since update to Lion my WLAN connection to my router (AVM fritz!box fon 7141) get's lost almost every time the computer is on idle for a couple of minutes. Deactivating and reactivating helps, but of course only until the problem occurs again.
BTW: I'm running Mac OS X Lion (10.7.3) on a iMac 27" 3.2 GHz i3 (mid 2010 model).
I'm really annoyed by this problem and looking forward for APPLES fix.

I am trying to get an applet to connect to the Oracle lite DB
I use

We have the same problem with that platform, but we get a
java.security.AccessControlException: access denied (java.lang.RuntimePermission loadLibrary.oljdbc40)
exception.

Does anyone have problems with Maps connecting to LTE?

My maps apps, both Maps by Apple and Google Maps, will not connect to the servers and resume funtioning when the phone is connected to LTE. If I turn off LTE and run 3G it connects and functions perfectly. When connected to WIFI it works perfectly as well. I would like to utilize the speed of my LTE coverage in my Maps apps. Has anyone else had this problem? And have you discovered a solution?

I have this exact problem. Also affects any app that is using map services (like foursquare). I've had Apple replace the phone (didn't help), had Verizon replace the SIM card (didn't help), and so I am still trying to solve this while Apple and Verizon point at each other and say that the other one is the problem.

Anyone have Lion and Photoshop CS5 issues?

I was using Photoshop CS successfully on my iMac (bought in 2008) until I upgraded from Snow Leopard to Lion and it stopped working. I installed CS5, and it doesn't work well at all; when I try to open and work on an 800 MB file it freezes and sticks and I get the spinning ball continuously. I am currently 4GB RAM. CS5 works great on my husband's computer and he has the same amount of Ram, and he is still using Snow Leopard. I also use Wacom Intuos 3 but the same thing happens with my mouse . I don't know what to do to improve the performance of CS5. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm having problems with my iPhone 4 regarding my car Bluetooth was fine before update but after update nothin but problems sometimes it connects but very low volume also when I come out of car my ringer volume goes down very low meaning If I don't turn it backup I can't hear incoming calls or message tones already had replacement phone from apple but once again after update same problem do u guys know if apple are aware of this problem as guy at genus bar basically saying that it's my stereo that needs updated my car is a 2011 seat Leon which stereo is made for iPhone 4 contacted garage and they said its down to the update I have read of a few problems like on forums and wondering when the geniuses are going together finger out and sort these problems out as I feel like throwing my phone out the window when it starts it none sense also when it connects with low volume in car I have to turn the Bluetooth off and back on again for it to connect properly

I wonder if there is any common issue when having /usr and / on separate partitions?
Upgraded to Solaris 10 (03/05) recently. It was OK until I applied the lasted recommended patch cluster (Generic_118822-26).
The problem is that:
I can not bring "svc:/system/filesystem/usr:default " online.
"svcs -x" shows
svc:/system/filesystem/usr:default (read/write root file systems mounts)

Reason: Start method is running.

I always create seperate / and /usr (/var and /opt for that matter) filesystems and have never experienced the problem you are describing. This has worked reliably for me from the Solaris 2.5.1 release up to and including Solaris 10 10/06 for SPARC and x86/64.
If at all possible, I try to use a boot disk large enough to hold each of these filesystems, plus a token /zones and /export filesystem on Solaris 10. This strategy gives me quite a bit of flexibility in managing filesystems and avoiding situations where I find myself running out of room when upgrading or patching.

Does anyone have IE8 on a PC?

Dear Everyone.
I have a client who says my system is falling apart in his IE8 browser.. I have called all over town and can not verify wether or not this is so because I can not find anyone else but my client who has this browser (it came out in March 09). The page in question is here:

So you are saying your bookshelf looks like this:
I think I see the problem!
Laying out a recipe page is not difficult.
It consists of a Recipe Name, a photo, a list of ingredients, a list of instructions and some comments.
Often not even all those, and certainly not rocket science.
Take a sample recipe, lay it out like a recipe you have seen somewhere and save that as a Template.
As Jamie Oliver points out it is faster to make your own Pizza (the way you like it) than to order it, with someone making it using dubious ingredients, and then driving it around to your place.
Sometimes you just have to not automatically choose the inconvenient "Convenience" option.
If you can't do that you probably can't cook either, so a moot point.

Every backup replaces the old one, so, unless you included the backup folder in your computer backup routine, you can't get back your calendar info.
The only time iTunes will not replace a backup is, when you use it to restore from, this one will stay in the backup list in iTunes.
