Does anyone have this problem with Pages? and how do i fix it?

Hi
Whenever i open a document that i've made in pages, i get a yellow box around the pages that i have made (say page 1 - 4) and it won't let me insert another page in between them. I then have to start a whole new document and copy past my information into the new document.
Does anyone know how to get the yellow box to sit only around 1 page like its meant to?

Mine wasnt working either but i saw in another thread that you should try Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. Ignore the warnings, all your settings have to be changed back but you dont lose any media or data, you just have to put your background back and location settings. It fixed Siri for me but dictation still doesnt work. Hopefully it works for you :-]

Some of the Dock connector cables have very small buttons on the rounded adge of the plug, which need to be pushed in to release the plug from the iPod. Look at the picture below, do you notice the "button" on the white connector edge? There's one on the other edge too and they both need to be pressed in to release the "evil looking spike" sticking out of the grey edge.
The shorter plugs (that I've seen) do not have the release mechanism, the plug simply pulls out.

User - it would help if you could post a single post with the full error message, what you are trying to do, etc. The other thread where you asked the same question had the same problem - you kept giving out little bits and pieces of the problem - it makes it really hard.

Having the same issue after downloading the lastest version of itunes. Apple is going to lose me as a customer, if this keeps up with their software updates. They never seem to work.
Really, they should want me to be able to access their store. That's money out of their pocket.

The power cord doesn't seem to work properly. It doesn't charge my Iphone 6. Does anyone have this problem?

It looks like there's a problem with the power cord or with the connector. When I plug in the phone it starts to buzz repeatedly that sound that notices the charge is starting, but it doesn't go on. On the screen, also, the battery symbol changes constantly from black to green to black again to green and so on, so I understand it's trying to charge, but it's not working.
Does (or did) anyone have this problem?

So today I went to an official Apple store and did some tests. As you said, the problem was the cord itself. My Iphone it's only two weeks old, so I guess the warranty will carry with a new one. As I need the phone, I decided to buy another cord. In the end, I guess I'll have two cords, which is not such a bad deal.

Hello to everyone.
I have a Sattelite L455D. I got it last November. It was included in tuition for my online classes at Dawn Career Institute.
Last weekend the computer got a virus. toshiba did recovery and it was fine but yesterday it got another virus and they had to do recovery again.
The virus is the type that try to get yiour passwords and credit card info. The Norton Security also found a tracking cookie that they fot rid off. I don't know if that is the same thing.
The computer is fine now but the security thing said it blocked an attempt to attack my computer.
Does anyone else have a problem with viruses? I would like to know what is causing it.
I am not going on any sites that would cause a problem. I know not to open spam email if I get it.
I don't go on any sites that I have not gone on on a Public computer at the library or someone else's house.
The main sites I use are the school site, my Comcast email, Facebook and Youtube.
I took all of my applications off of Facebook. I play Cityville with some friends and family but alot of people play that though.
I had my resume on Careerbuilder but had to take it down because of getting alot of email about scam jobs. Could it have come from that?
I really would like to know what is causing this. I am very carefull on the computer. I am being extra carefull now.
My Security trail ends in a month and I am afraid the virus will keep getting back on after that. I don't have the money to pay for it myslef right now untill I am done school in August.
This is the first time I have ever had a home computer and I like having one because it is easy to do my schoolwork but I am getting tired of having to do recovery becuse of getting a virus.

There are also some utilities you can use to help see what might unexpectedly be running on the system: Task Manager, System Configuration utility, and the System Information utility are built into your OS. Process Explorer, HighJackThis, ShellExview are also free programs. CCleaner is free and it helps to rid the system of temporary files, cookies, and useless registry entries.
Use Windows Update and the Java Control Panel to make sure your system has the latest patches, and Java version and update Adobe reader. The Java Control panel allows you to delete temporary Java files.
MS has been using Active X and JAVA script for years and the software has always been exploited by malware through email, attachments, web pages and links.

Yes, I had same thing happen. There is some notice buried in their not-so-clear help page that says there is some problem with Adobe Air. I ended up deleting tweetdeck and using seesmic as a substiture but now that no longer works. I posted a question here asking if anyone can recommend a working replacement.

Does anyone have a problem with the ipad air screen?

I bought an ipad air last week and the left edge of the screen was darker than the other side. It was obvious so I just returned it and bought a new one since the store didn't have the same style in storage. I bought another one from another retailer, and just found the same problem, but not as serious as the former one. So I just took it back to the store the next day and exchange another one. Unfortunately, the third one had the same problem at the up-left corner of the screen. I admit that I am picky, but I think I pay this amount of money so I deserve perfect screen. If the brightness of the two sides is different, I dont think it is a product of good quality.
Just want know if anyone else have the same problem with me. Or you just can bear the small diffrence of display. BTW, in China, it is reported spreadly that the ipad air screen has a problem. They even generalize the serial number for problematic ipad air.

Try clearing Safari's cache : Settings > Safari > Clear Cookies And Data and also Clear History
If that doesn't work then try closing Safari completely and then re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with Safari 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
A third option is a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Does anyone have a problem with opening PDF files in iBook after updating the program recently

I need to try to open the pdf file a few times before it goes in iBook.
It is making me look like a fool cos I use iBook for my presentation to my clients

I'm presumably having a similar problem with pdf's in ibook. It seemed to work fine until about two updates ago. We're using ipad II's with ibook (latest version as of today) for our board of director's reports. These are sometimes several hundred pages and password protected pdf's. Now the more whiney members of the board are *******' at me, so I need to find a solution relatively quickly. Is there a way to back off the updates?
What it does.
When a PDF is chosen to open from the library, ibook open a "blank" file -- showing only the ibook background.
One can try closing and re-opening the PDF and after three or four times it'll open -- seems to be random.
These PDFs are created in Adobe Acrobat 9.
