Does anyone know any similar...

I'm currently stumped in a project I'm doing and I know you guys won't do people's homework for them and I'm alright with that I mean how else are we going to learn but I was wondering if anyone knows of one or two similar examples/tutorials for the project I'm doing.
I would greatly appreciate the help since I haven't found anything for awhile and I need the time to focus on my Visual basic exam tomorrow morning.
Anyway the general gist of the project is
- that I have to make a program that allows the user to create objects (in my case Employee) in a vector (Company)
- search for an object in the vector and once located than assign expenses to the employee, expenses is another object of a different class
This part I have pretty much completed i think except for the expense bit
I need to different types of expeneses in a menu, I guess by case statements for
car expense (enters the kilometres travelled and they are entitled to a refund from the company of $$ = kms travelled * 50 cents)
travel expense (reimbursed fully)
research expense (reimbursed 50% of their costs)
I do need to do polymorphic programming which is what I'm having trouble with
- a method to reimburse the employee
- a method that calculates and displays a grand total for all expenses to date
I would attach the assignment proving that I have done quite abit of it but there seems to be no attach feature on these forums and my isp website is down so I can't attach it to my website which I was going to do.....

That you can't use your brain ??? What's amazing, is it that if you had looked at the other posts, you would see that code is posted via cut and paste and formatted using "special tokens" aka "forum tags"...
What more amazing it that you could not come up with a solution yourself...

All you have shown, is that you are not willing to do the work and research not only for your own work... How is this known, simple because you did not even take the time look learn how to use the forums... Like reading the FAQ's...

Logic 8 should have no problems in SL.
Use Software update to check if you've got the latest update for it (SU will only offer an update if it's not already installed).
Failing that, I'd start by uninstalling Logic and re-install from the DVD in case something got corrupted during the update.

so i decided to record some friends of mine as a joke. i was using the voice memos app on my iPhone 6.. i thought i put the phone down close enough to pick up everything, but it didn't quiet work out as well as i hoped. i ended up getting more static than voice.. does anyone know of a good app or program where i can edit this voice memo. reduce all that static and raise their voices to they can be audible?

I brought my computer to the Genius Bar and I was told that my hard drive has failed so I need to get a new one. There are a few other things that could be fixed, like the cd-drive, so the guy helping me told me the name of a company that I can send my computer to. Does anyone know any tips for editing video to display on an LED digital billboard?

I was just given a MOV file of a TV commercial they want to display on a digital billboard. It needs to be converted to AVI format.
They said when they tried to translate it to AVI, it looked terrible and they couldn't tell what it was.
They thought I might have better luck since I have Premiere Pro.
I'm a beginner with Premiere anyway, but I also have no experience with digital billboards. I have no idea what settings I should use or anything.
I think it's going to look pixelated anyway, just because that's what LED signs do. Also, the TV commercial is a night scene around a campfire, so that doesn't help.
I asked what company made the sign and they told me ICE and the software used for it is called IView, but I haven't been able to Google anything helpful from ICE so far.
So any tips, tricks or suggestions from anyone who might have previous experience with this kind of thing would be GREATLY appreciated.

OMG! I finally got the sign company's phone number and called their tech support and he was clueless! He didn't even know what a codec was!
All he knew was that the frame rate is 30, pixel matrix is 48 pixels high by 96 pixels wide, and WMV is actually a preferable format to AVI.
But I see WMV also isn't an option in Premiere, so I'm guessing that is also nothing but another container?
Maybe I should just export it to Quicktime and find some free translation software to change it to WMV.

Does anyone know any reason why silverlight v5 has recently stopped responding when I use it with firefox

it goes into a loop if I keep pressing continue, and if I stop it, the work I am doing that needs silverlight is lost. Frustrating and time consuming! Can anyone help please?

As my environment is moving more and more towards an MDM solution and mobility itself, I find myself presented with various issues from the OS. I know that I can export console logs from these devices, but there is a lot of information there to go through. And taking the devices to Apple store for a genius to look at it is sometimes not a possibility and we end up replacing devices. I know there is not a certification course offered by Apple, but was hoping that some forum members to could give me a few pointers to resources that you have found.

Photo Booth "effects" are commands that are built into OS X core functions, so all the effects available for Photo Booth are already in the app.
