Does anyone know how to connect an external zoom to a canon FS20 camcorder.

Is it possible to connect an external zoom remote to a canon FS20 camcorder?  With no LANC port i would assume those controllers are out... anyone know of a different controller/ remote that might work?  I want to use the camera on a taller boom to tape soccer games but i am concerned that there is no way to zoom in.

Hi cardsdude2015! Without a remote port or even a wireless remove sensor (like the FS22 has), it is not possible to use a remote with the FS20.

Does anyone know how to connect wireless speakers with itunes through airplay? I am not getting the airplay icon in itunes.

JBL doesn't have any speakers called "Spiral" that I can find, but anyway, perhaps something in this Apple support article on AirPlay troubleshooting will help:

Do you have the AOL software installed?
When you open System Preferences > Network > Location: Automatic & at Show: is there an option to select External Modem?
If so, is your Modem Model listed?

  • Does anyone know how to connect to Bell South DSL under PPPoE?

I am having problems connecting to the internet.I have Bell South DSL. I was using a Dell laptop which used a USB cable to connect to the internet. Now that I have my first Apple (Macbook) I have been told to use the Ethernet cable that Bell South gave me instead of the USB. (They gave me both and they are labled) But the Ethernet cable B.S. gave me doesnt seem to fit into any ports on my Macbook. Once I get that situated, I was told to set my settings to PPPoE. Does anyone know how to do this or have any suggestions to my cable problem? And how do I get to Tiger from my Macbook? I cannot seeem to find it. Any input is appreciated.

Assuming "BellSouth" uses the same procedure as "SBCGlobal", which are now both ATT/Yahoo, as far as I know:
Take router from box. Connect to power outlet and phone outlet.
Take Ethernet cable, plug one end into the router's jack marked LAN, plug other end into your computer's Ethernet jack.
Point your Web browser to 192.168.1.1 (enter this into your browser's address bar, actual address might vary, check your router's documentation.)
A Web form will appear. Set router to PPPoE, if necessary. Enter the user name your ISP gave you. Enter the password.
Watch all the lights on your router go green.
Or, if the router is already set up, since you used it with your Dell laptop previously:
Take Ethernet cable, plug one end into the router's jack marked LAN, plug other end into your computer's Ethernet jack. Done.
The second from the left is your Ethernet jack:

  • Does anyone know how to connect the iPhone to a peripheral and keep it charging?

Now that a number of medical devices can be attached to the 30 pin or to a lesser extent the lightening connector this creates the obvious conundrum of what happens when the battery of the iPhone dies and you still want MORE data?
The answer came in this review for a pulse oximeter
    http://www.amazon.com/review/R2LR18B4LT26F8/ref=cm_cr_pr_perm?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B00A1 G7VRS&linkCode=&nodeID=&tag=
The problem is that I have not been able to find this device that he references that describes a 30 pin extender that also has a connection to a USB (albeit mini USB) connector to allow charging and connection to an additional device.
Now granted that this may pose risks to the iPhone & as you can see in the review many of the device manufacturers don't like it, but this could come in handy and very useful for certain applications.
Does anyone know what this is called and where to find it online to buy?  or does anyone have a better solution such as a 30 pin splitter that will actually allow each device on the split to still communicate with each other (my guess is most splitter would allow dual charging, but will not allow you to actually get data sent across from the one device to the other).
    Thoughts?

What exactly is this "text divider"?
A graphic? If so what format?

I want to play my itunes library through my home amplifier and speakers?  Is it possible to do this?

For stereo sound, you can use a normal stereo cable.
For surroundsound capable video/audio, optical TosLink connection through the headphone port using an adaptor cable.
