Does anyone know how to delete the extra copies of Books in Digital Editions.
I have Adobe Digital Editions but I have multilple copies on the computer Adobe Bookshelf.
I can't seem to find a way to delete the extra copies with out deleting the one good copy on my Sony E-Reader.

If restoring using your backup didn't work, you'll have to save as much of your data as you can (import your photos to your computer, sync your contacts and other data with iCloud, email things like Notes and Voice Memos to yourself, sync with iTunes to transfer all your purchases, etc.) and then restore it as new without using your backup.

Go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and highlight the backup you want to delete and click on Delete Backup

OMG! TIS MAKES ME SOOOOOOOOOO MAD!!!!!!!! i was trying to delete my photo library because 150 photos take up space and i already had them in a diferent album, from a tip that made no sense to me. like deleting it the same way i transferred it. i got a new ipod and authorized it then the new album was created. (WHY DO THEY HAVE TO MAKE THINGS SO COMPLICATED!?!?!?) when i tried to do just that i just that, it deleted half my songs. GRRRR!! PLEEZ HELP ME. id hope you would keep it simple pleez

Removing the tick from the box named Sync Photos would not remove any of your music. You must have done something else if half your music was removed from the iPod.

I assume you mean "can you delete films/movies or Podcasts etc. from your iTunes Library". Yes, you can delete anything from your iTunes Library by using the conventional delete method or you can delete (or remove) any of the songs, films, Podcasts etc. from the iPod. Usually this is done by un-ticking the song, film etc in iTunes and then Syncing the iPod to iTunes. That will remove the song form the iPod but leave it in iTunes unless you specifically delete it form iTunes . -

I should add that my issue was single finger forward/back swipe stopped working on the magic mouse in Firefox since Mavericks came along. I have been fighting this since I upgraded to Mavericks a few months ago. Thank you, tbirdvet. You have no idea how much easier you just made using my iMac again.

My problem is that I downloaded a fan control application and it worked perfectly, but it started to get annoying so I deleted it.

I recently changed my apple ID but my previous apple ID is associated with my icloud account. I'm setting up my new iphone 6 and cannot complete the set up until I can sync my icloud account. Does anyone know how to change the icloud id?
Do the following:
Make sure you are signed into iMessage and FaceTime with your current ID. If they are signed into the old ID, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with your current ID.
Then temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. (You should not have to verify the old email account so it doesn’t matter if you no longer have access to it.) Now go to Settings>iCloud, turn off Find My iPhone and enter your current password when prompted (even though it prompts you for the password for your old ID). Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out and choose Delete from My iPhone when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign back in with your current iCloud ID and password (your data will download back to your phone). -

Does anyone know how to delete duplicate photographs I seem to have so many, is this anything to do with photostream as I have an ipad as well. I have over 7000 photos and find it impossible to find them all. When I first got Apple 9 years ago there was a drop down menu that found all duplicates which you could then delete but that was taken off at some point. I would be really gratful for some help i am not savvy with the technical side of computing.
For dealing with duplicates in iPhoto check out Duplicate Annihilator or Decloner or iPhoto Duplicate Cleaner or iPhoto Library Manager

Does anyone know how to automate the FI Period Close (trans code OB52)? Currently, the business users go into the screen and open and close any periods manually. For the MM period close, we are able to do so because we found the program to use in the batch job. For some reason, the FI side shows the program SAPL0F00 but this is only a view and will not allow a batch job to be created. Does anyone know of the actual program used for the FI period close?

How to program a midi foot controller on Mainstage? Does anyone knows how to program the foot controller with exclusive solo channel in order not to dance "tip tap" while from clean guitar I go to crunch or solo? How to do this programming on Mainstage?
I basically managed to learn how to invert parameters which allows me to be as default in the clean guitar channel and if I switch the first button on the midi foot controller I switch to crunch, but at this point I tryied so hard to programm the second and third button to switch, only through a button in one step, to a third channel for distorsion or a 4th channel for solo guitar but I couldn't figured out how this work can be done!
I would appreciate if anyone could help or share this experience with others who are experiencing the same problem.
