Does anyone know how to export Address Book entries into Excel?

I need to send someone address book information, and would like to send it in Excel vs. creating a pdf. This way I can remove information categories they don't need (and they'd prefer to get it in Excel). Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can do this?

Take a look at this video from Mark Spencer. It explains the basics of a C4D/Motion workflow. Again, as Adam states, this does not bring in 3D models from C4D.

You could use Audacity (a free multi track audio editor) to create a custom soundtrack.

I don't see an option to export anymore. Trying to get the movie from iMovie onto a flash drive so I can put it on another computer and burn a DVD. (My new mac doesn't have a DVD/disc space.)

File - Share - file then Next - and choose the destination.

Go into Settings>Messages>Send and Receive> Is your phone number checked there? If you do not want your email used, then tap on them and remove the checkmark. If there is no checkmark by your phone number, then turn iMessage off, perform a reset on the phone, hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone will reboot. Turn iMessage on. When it activates, check your settings again under Send and Receive and make sure the number is checked and the emails are not.

My iTunes appleID is an old defunct e-mail address - it does not have to be functional.
Do what Winston says to ensure you keep getting correspondence related to that ID.

Thanks. I've tried this and apparently the template I'm using is one of those where it doesn't work. I've tried dragging it as well as cutting a pasting but it always travels back to the end of the book. Maybe I can try changing the template temporarily, move the preface page, and then convert back to the original template. I'll experiment a little.

I can click into any other text window and edit and change attributes but I am locked out of editing text when it comes to the spine of the book. I spoke to Blurb support and they referred me to Adobe. I spent 45 minutes with support here - no one knew. I have experienced all the fiddly aspects you mentioned - these are attributes and although changing them requires the skill of a surgeon's hand - it's the actual editing of the text I can't seem to access anymore. The box just won't allow me to do anything except change attributes. Does that make sense? And it's only on the spine where I am having this issue. Puzzled! I have even rebooted the program and just now the computer - to no avail.

For example, if I am downloading a paper by smith called "Surgery" that was published in 2002, it will automatically set the file name in the download to smith- surgery 2002. I have heard pages is smart enough to do this.

Pages can export only its own documents. They may be exported as PDF, MS Word, RTF or Text files.
Pages can import (ie. Open a file as, or Insert a file into, a Pages document) documents in several formats, but won't rename the document as you describe. Documents that can be Opened (eg. Text, AppleWorks 6 WP, MS Word files) are converted to Pages documents, and retain their original names, with .pages replacing the original file extension. Files that can be Inserted (generally .jpg, .pdf and other image files) become part of the existing Pages file and lose their names.
It may be possible, using AppleScript, to extract the text you want and to Save a Pages file using that text as the filename, but that would depend in part on being able to identify which text is wanted and which is not.
How will the script determine where the author's name begins and where it ends?
How will the script recognize the beginning and of the title, an decide how much of the title to use in the filename?
How will the script recognize the year of publication?
For papers published in a specific journal, with a strict format for placing each of these pieces on information, or containing the needed information as searchable meta data in the file, this might be possible. But it would require knowledge of the structure of these files, and would probably handle only papers published in a specific journal or set of journals.
Outside my field of knowledge, but there are some talented scripters around here who might want to take a closer look.
