Does anyone know how to put iphoto pictures into a dvd?

I tried it a couple of ways but I heard if you use idvd that you can put pictures onto a dvd. I just don't know how to work idvd. If any of you could help me, I would really appreciate it.

The answer to your question depends on what you ant to do with the DVD.
Do you want a DVD menu, slide show etc.
iPhoto will allow you to burn straight to a DVD. Just select the album you want to burn then go to share in the tool bar and select Burn.

The workflow that Jim spelled out is for doing what's called a "multi-cam edit." This allows you to conveniently switch among different video clips, often from multiple cameras that shot the same performance or event. The end result is a segment where only one clip is visible at a time.
The way I read your question, what you want to do is show six clips all at once, which is typically referred to "picture in picture." To do that, follow the first 3 steps Jim provided. (By the way, in Step 2, the key is to stack the clips on six different tracks, as opposed to lining them up head-to-tail.) Then select each clip in turn and use the Position and Scale controls in the Effect Controls Panel to shrink it and move it where you want within the frame. Iphoto library gone after software upgrade/update..Does anyone know how to get my pictures back?

Hello, I have a Macbook Air and 3 days ago, I had a "crucial update" on my computer but accepted it before looking at what it was for. When my computer auto restarted, my iphoto library was completely gone. Does anyone know how this could have happened?
I have the OS X 10.7.5 and iphoto 9.2.3... The update that I did may have been the Os X 10.7.5 but I did not look at what the update was being quickly clicking the accept button.
Unfortunately, I do not think that my pictures were backed up on the "time machine application". Any help would be great for how I can get my pictures back.

You should have been syncing all of this to your computer regularly.

Im trying to work out how to use iphoto?
I have all these photos that i have taken over the years and now that i have the time to sort them out im not sure what to do with the photos that i havent put into a folder.
I have put the ones that i want into folders and they still stay in the photo libary but i want to delete them as i have put them in folders? how can i fix this problem??

And if you have questions after going through the tutorials ask here - when you ask you must remember that we know nothing about yoru system or use except what you tell us so we need the versions of iPhoto and the OS, details of what you are doing, what you want to do and what is not working
And you need to use the same words that others and iPhoto uses - for example in iPhoto folders can not hold photos - foders hold other folders or albums - albums hold photos and you can view the photos in yoru library by events, photos, faces or places
If by chance you are calling albums folders - and that only a wild guess - then you need to learn that albums are logical things - creating an album and putting photos in it simply creats links in the iPhoto database pointing to the photo in the library so it is not duplicated and you can not remove it from the library (and there is no reason to) since if you remove it form the library it is gone in every view - albms, places, faces, photos, events, etc

I don't know who told you that you could put videos on your nano but I wouldn't rely on them for any stock tips either.

i don't think the TI 83 has a usb port on it does it?
cuz if it doesn't then there is no way to get them on there except to get them from a TI 84 that has them using the transfer cable

Does anyone know how to pull a clip from a dvd but make it smaller?

I have downloaded a DVD taken by another parent and need to remove clips from that for a highlight film. It downloaded as 4 separate 8 minute clips for some reason. That's fine but now I want to pull specific sections from those clips and move them to the movie I am creating. When I do this, they retain the original size of the entire clip (1.61GB) when I really need them to be smaller. I have iMovie 5.0.2. Can anyone give me some guidance?

OK so it sounds like you have the content off the DVD and onto your computer, yes? If so, which format is the footage? DV, MPEG2, etc.?
You get them into iMovie ok? If so, then you just need to shorten the clip and export or use the smaller part?
Do you know how to use iMovie in general to trim and edit clips or is this your first attempt at iMovie?

Another alternative would be a watermarking app other than BorderFX. Go to MacUpdate.com and search for "watermark" to get a list of potential candidates.

Since up date to Yosemite my iphoto 6000 pics are in chaos, 2011 pics mixed in 2014. Not always in event block sometimes just one or two? Does anyone know how to put this right...help!

Does anyone know how to repair IPHOTO when you get the aperture needs upgrading error?

I just had my MACBook Pro repaired at the Genius Bar and I am still aving issues with IPHOTO. When I try to open the application I get an error that states I need to upgrade to Aperature 3.3. I have never had this. They installed OS X Mavericks. Could this be why I am getting this error?

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.
