Does anyone know how to send additional tones after initial phone number?
I dial in to many conference call services that require a code to be entered once the initial call has been connected. Is there any way to configure a phone number so that it delays sending the last few digits? This would be very helpful as i cant always remember the code once i have dialed the initial number. Thanks
That won't work on the iPhone - the reason is that the other apps (Mail, browser, 3rd party apps) hand the number off to the Phone app via an html code (which is why the phone numbers appear as 'links'), and that code does not recognize pauses. It works for contacts because those are 'embedded' in the phone app so the number is dialed directly. Unfortunately, there's no workaround for what you're trying to do.

Two ways to do this:
Download an app, such as RMakerPro, which uses music on your phone to create ringtones.
Plug in to iTunes and find where your ringtones are listed. Drag them to your desktop, and then you will need to change the file type to .m4r, which can be done at www.freefileconvert.com. -
Pre-update, you used to be able to send an email to one of your predefined "Groups" by merely typing the "Group" name into the address field. Post-update, this no longer appears to work. Post update, typing the "Group" name into the address field gets you absolutely nothing. Now I seem to have to add each individual recipient into the address field, something I thought developing predefined "Groups" would save me from having to do each and every time. Does anyone know of any viable solutions for this?

Does anyone know how to avoid grainy files after editing in Photoshop CS6 (Mac)
We have come across a problem using Adobe Photoshop CS6 and Illustrator CS6 on a MAC. We use Illustrator CS6 for putting together the graphics and use Photoshop CS6 for editing. When we save the image in full res and browse the image - the image looks grainy both on a Mac and a PC. Has anyone else come across a similar problem and if so do you know how we can solve this problem?

When i logged onto my itunes account, my daughters contacts uploaded to my iphone. We do not share the same itunes account so i don't know how this happened. Does anyone know how to remove her contacts from my phone with out having to manually delete them one by one?
Apparently, you have set up the same iCloud account on both devices or you are syncing both devices under the same user ID on the same computer and have ended up syncing both of them with the same address book on the computer.

There might third party apps or iTunes or iCloud options to backup the text messages from the Apple phone itself. Then you can print the contents of the messages from the backup.

Hello, I just activated another iphone4 on my account and it is now linked to my other iphone. If I delete a contact on one it deletes it on the other. Does anyone know how to fix?
One of the phones can keep the current account; on the one that will be moving go to Settings>iCloud and turn all data that is syncing with iCloud (contacts, calendars, etc.) to Off. When prompted choose to keep the data on the iPhone. After everything is turned off, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. (This will only delete the account from this phone, not from iCloud. The other phone will not be effected by this.) Next, set up a new iCloud account on this phone using a different Apple ID and turn iCloud data syncing for contacts, etc. back to On. When prompted, choose Merge. This will upload the data to this new account. At this point you will have two different iCloud accounts, one for each phone, with identical data on them.
You will then have to go to icloud.com on your computer and sign into each iCloud account separately and manually delete the unwanted data (such as deleting the original phone's contacts from the new phone's account, and vice versa). These changes will be reflected on each phone. -
Can't SEND email from Telus account in Alberta, Canada, unless I go to web mail. Does anyone know how to set up the Outgoing server? Incoming is fine. Outgoing used to work. We changed it when we went to another location, and can't get it back. Telus support can't fix it. Neither smtp.telus.net NOR mail.telus.net works for Outgoing server to send mail. Please help! Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

Since upgrading to IOS 8.1.2 on my iPad3, I cannot send/receive emails from either of my Apple or Verizon email accounts. I confirmed that my internet connection is working. Does anyone know how to fix this problem or how to go back to IOS 8.1.1?

Try restarting your iPhone by holding down the on/off and the home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, double check the volume button just in case. If you still can't hear the tones go into your settings>sounds and make sure the options are on.
