Does anyone know if there is a way for the number of time a song has been played on your iPhone/iPod be transferred to the songs on your iTunes number of plays?
I mainly just use my iTunes for organizing and adding new songs. Most of the time I listen to my music on my iPhone. I wish it would keep track of how many times I play a song in my music and transfer it to the computer under the 'number of times played' column. It would help out so much! Does anyone know if there is a way for the number of time a song has been played on your iPhone/iPod be transferred to the songs on your iTunes number of plays?

You sound like an Apple support guy who hasn't been able to answer my questions.
To respond to some of the points you made,
- I did not ignore Ocean20's suggestion. If you has read my post, you would have known that I took my phone to the apple service centre where they tried this restore on THEIR machines. I am assuming that Apple guys know how not to block iTunes. So I actually do not understand your point about me trying the hosts file changes on my machine. Do you not believe that apple tested this issue with the correct settings?
- you also give a flawed logic of why the issue is a hardware issue. You mentioned that If I thought that the issue was with the software, i should try a restore and getting it to work. The problem is that my error (23), and many others comes up when the restore fails. And you would be astonished to know that not all errors are hardware errors. Sometimes even software errors prevent restores. Funnily enough Apple itself mention that 'in rare cases, error 23 could be hardware related'.
- all Apple has done so far is replicate the issue. I don not know how anyone can conclude that the issue is a hardware issue.
And by the way, I am not certain that this is a software bug. Again if you read my Posts, you will notice I only want a confirmation,/proof that the issue is hardware related as they mention..

Or since both OS 9 and OS X can do SMB Windows sharing you could use that protocol to share files from one to the other.
Doesn't really matter what OS you are using. Mac OS/OS X shar files with Windows computers of all types and versions of Windows so the same applies for the different versions of Mac OS/OS X.
Each Operating System takes care of reading and writing files to there respective file formats of the hard drives so that does not have to be the same. They both just have to be able to do Ethernet with the same files sharing protocol. -

If you'd set up MobileMe/Find My iPad on it before it was taken then you might be able - but only if it hasn't already been wiped, MobileMe hasn't been disabled on it, and if it is connected to a network. Otherwise no, it can't be tracked.
If you havn't already done so then you should report it to the police and change any passwords that you were on it - iTunes account, email accounts, and any stored on websites/notes/emails on it -

Does anyone know if there's any way to find out what files in my Library I can delete? I just cleaned off my HD onto a media drive as a back up so all my movies documents and photos are gone but my Library seems to be a huge space hog eating sixty gigs of space and I do have alot of apps but they don't take up a third of that space... Any ideas how I can figure out what is wasting all this space? I had Spring Cleaning once but found it to be rather confusing as to what was essential to the OS and what not...

MattGet free OmniDisk Sweeper. I can't imagine how you could have sixty GB in that folder. My entire ~Library isn't even 1GB. Are you sure you're not talking about your entire Home folder?
Can you post a screenshot of the contents of that folder.
Check again. Are you sure you moved all the Movies etc. out? Could have left duplicates of everything behind when you did this.

It's currently taking me ages to send multiple emails as I'm having to copy and paste the email each time. Does anyone know if there is a way that I can send the same email several times but that can be addressed (Dear....) to different people?

I am learning to use Photoshop Elements with my recently downloaded Elements 13. I am disappointed that there is no longer a golden section grid option. Does anyone know if there is a way I can get this? Is there an upgrade to a more advanced photoshop or a plug in that has it as an option?

Unlikely. Based on the complete lack of detail of the issue provided it is entirely possible the same issue would occur.
Unless and until the user provides some actual details of the problem, there is nothing the indicate that the issue is with the iPhone. -

IIRC the very original Bose Dock had the old 30 pin wiring and was designed initially for the iPod
If you have that version then you will need a converter to the later wiring ( sans firewire) as in Scosche .
and then the 30 pin to lightning Apple adapter
In theory it should work but who knows.
If you have a later one which already works with current devices then just the lightning adapter
It is important to get the genuine Apple adapter I have several and all work fine in several scenarios

My I-phone 4 froze when I was trying to sync some music to it tonight from i-tunes. I lost all my contact info, apps and most importantly photos. I had just returned from a vacation to the mountains and had 200 or so photos that are now lost I really would like to know if there is any way to retrieve them because I hadn`t uploaded them to my computer yet. I don`t mind if I have to pay a professional to retrieve them I just want to know if its possible. If anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks for listening and any help anyone might have.
If the photos were not backed up with a recent backup, there is NO way to retrieve them.

Pre-update, you used to be able to send an email to one of your predefined "Groups" by merely typing the "Group" name into the address field. Post-update, this no longer appears to work. Post update, typing the "Group" name into the address field gets you absolutely nothing. Now I seem to have to add each individual recipient into the address field, something I thought developing predefined "Groups" would save me from having to do each and every time. Does anyone know of any viable solutions for this?
You have to add each one, 1 at a time using the + button.

I updated my iPhone 3GS with the new IO6 update last night and when it rebooted, my mobileme email account had been deleted along with all of my emails. I am unable to add the account again despite copying the settings on my ipad. There must be a way to get it back? I hope? Does anyone have any ideas?
I am using incoming mail server: mail.me.com this seems to be the problem as it will send emails using the smtp.me.com server.
I have also tried imap.mail.me.com, and smtp.me.com and mail.icloud.com and smtp.me.com Nothing seems to work but it could be something simple I've overlooked? Help would be much appreciated... any method of getting the emails to my iPhone would be fine by me.Mobile Me was turned off months ago.

Wallpapers-does anyone know if there is a way

StacieI am pretty sure this is possible with a little OSX trickery. Untested but it should theoretically work. It DOES work in Screensaver mode, and Desktop uses the same engine.
OSX normally uses JPG format images, but PNG format images are handled the same. JPG does not support transparency, but PNG does. So what you want to do is put a transparent PNG on top of your JPG. In the Screensaver, displaying a JPG first makes it the background, and then a subsequent PNG is layered on top of that in the foreground. Try it now and you'll see it works.
This feature is probably leading up into a future OSX where transparent objects float around on a background, much like cartoon animations work. In addition to images, Font Book could be added to the objects, since fonts are already transparent and take less memory. But I digress.
The point is, Desktop objects SHOULD be layerable. Whether or not it is possible I do not know. Seems like there should be a way to hack the com.apple.desktop.plist file to do it. The question is, will the application totally remove the existing image or place the next image on top? -
I am the Video Coordinator at Samford University and have found the quality of video capture on the iPad 4 AMAZING, however I need to convert all my files through a canopus in order to Capture and Cut live like I do with a regular video camera. I can get the tripod and mount for the iPad, I was just wondering if anybody knows exactly how/if there is a way to connect to the canopus from an iPad.
Look forward to hearing what you guys and girls say.I'm a bit vague about what it is you wish to accomplish. Are you trying to capture video through an external box? If so, that's not posssible with any of the Canopus boxes I'm familar with. In fact I don't know of any external video capture solution that works with an iPad, though I can't state definitively that none exist. I really don't think an iPad would be well suited for this even if it's possible. I'd strongly suggest you look into a MacBook Air or one of the current MacBook Pros. Those are far better suited for on-the-fly video capture and editing.
If that's not what you mean, please post back and explain further what it is you wish to accomplish.
