Does anyone know what "The floater" is?

I just installed CS5.5 for the third time, and still get the error message:
"Unable to find file floatui.htm in the Configuration/Floaters directory.
The floater will not be shown."
when Dreamweaver is launched.
The program seems to work OK as far as I have been able to test it. All the floating windows appear when called up.
System is windows 7 64 bit
This happens when the installation is downloaded from the web or when it is installed from the DVD. Same happens if it is uninstalled first and the machine restarted prior to a subsequent install from DVD.
Adobe technical help suggested that I re-install it, and also that I should rename the configuration file, but they were not exactly sure where this was located.
Eventually it was decided that I should rename a folder called Dreamweaver CS5.5 in the configuration file that was in ....users/current_user/Appdata/Roaming/Adobe/ which I did, calling it Dreamweaver.old, and restart the program, which I did- with the same result.
There is no ..Configuration/Floaters directory in that path at all, but there is one in Programfiles(x86)/Adobe Dreamweaver CS5.5/configuration/
However, this does not have the file mentioned, and a search of the entire computer can't find one either.
So how do I get rid of the message? Insert a file with the correct name in this folder?
Or is this just a quirk or an error in the DW installation script?

I googled
"Unable to find file floatui.htm in the Configuration/Floaters directory"
and posted the first Adobe forums link which popped up.
You can often find answers to obscure issues if you google a few keywords from an obscure error message.

This response is a little late as I just read about your problem. I have a 2012 Dodge Charger and a 2012 Chrysler Town and Country and both worked flawlessly with the iPhone 5s my wife and I had. However, we just upgraded to the iPhone 6 and Uconnect will receive calls but you cannot answer them. You can callout successfully, however. the annoyance being the inability to answer incoming calls in the HandsFree mode.

I get this when pushing an AP template to six new 3502i series access points. The error reads like this:

The rest of the template appears to push. The 802.11a/n and 802.11b/g/n parameters show "success".
Anyone have the magic decoder ring for what these messages are referring to so that I can go fix the issue?

Two things :
1- Can you refresh configs from WLC to WCS and then give it a try ?
2- Is WCS using the right read-write community string for this WLC ?
(Since we see a "No Access" message in the error)

Your Mac must be on Lion (10.7) to run iCloud. Apple had to change the operating system to fully support it. Nevertheless, it is possible to get emails from iCloud without having Lion. Please tell me if this interests you.

Your Desktop Picture settings and Dock items are stored in the files
/Users/your short user name/Library/Preferences/com.apple.desktop.plist and
/Users/your short user name/Library/Preferences/com.apple.dock.plist
in the "Preferences" folder in your user library. This looks like the system has trouble to write to these files. Check the permissions on your user library and remove the above files from your user library, then log off and on again.
Your user library is hidden in Lion and Mt. Lion. To reveal it, use the Finder's "Go" menu. Select "Go" in the Finder's main menu bar and hold down the alt/option key, until you see the "Library" in the drop-down menu. Double click it to open a Finder window, so you can browse the files inside.

Thank you for the response. Typically this error is caused by installing an older verison of iTunes than you had prior. When you installed iTunes did you download the program directly from iTunes.com, or did you use an older copy of the program on your computer? If you used an older version or are unsure, uninstall all the components one more time and download a new copy of iTunes via the link below.

Outlook 2007 doesn't show the icloud service running in Windows 7 within outlook. Does anyone know what the dll for this service is so it can be manually added to outlook? I've installed the icloud control panel app and set it up to synch everything, but after initially downloading my icloud calendar, it won't process any calendar updates (new entries made on either iphone 4 on ios 5 or outlook).
So since the control panel installed, but the service doesn't show running in outlooks "trust center" add-ins list, anyone know the actual dll file it would point to so I can see if I can add it the hard way?

I had the same issue and figured it out. First you have to start Outook as administrator. To do this, shift and right-click on outlook and click run as administrator. Next you need to enable Hard-disabled add-ins:

Hard disabling can occur when an add-in causes the application to close unexpectedly. It might also occur on your development computer if you stop the debugger while the Startup event handler in your add-in is executing.
To re-enable an add-in
In the application, click the File tab.
Click the ApplicationName Options button.
In the categories pane, click Add-ins.
In the details pane, verify that the add-in appears in the Disabled Application Add-ins list. The Name column specifies the name of the assembly, and the Location column specifies the full path of the application manifest.
In the Manage box, click Disabled Items, and then click Go.
Select the add-in and click Enable.
Click Close.
Then you need to activate it.

It just reboots the device and bolds the system fonts. No harm done. If you don't like it, undo the setting, it will reboot and back to as it was.

You can't buy the part from Creative as a spare.
I'm not sure how compatible other parts might be, but that would be a question for someone who really knows a lot about this area of electronics.
The Creative repair for this is likely to be expensi've, but the problem is most likely a broken solder connection than an actual new headphone socket. So if you know someone experienced in surface mount soldering you could probably get it repaired just with this.
