No one here knows, no, and will not until either Apple makes an announcement or people actually see them appearing.

If there is one it would be in 2012.

  • Does anyone know when the 27 inch iMacs will ship?

Does anyone know when the new "thin" 27 inch iMacs will ship to California?  I ordered one in early December and can't get a firm answer.

If you ordered it when they were accepting Pre-Orders then chances are you'll receive your iMac between Dec. 24th and 31st. But seeing as how you ordered it in December, I don't think that's the case. I'm about to purchase a customized one, so I've been back and forth on Apple's site since late November, and I noticed that in December, the ship date shows January. So I'm thinking that once January 1st rolls around, the ship date on the website might be updated with something along the lines of 1-2 weeks or such. Good luck, I feel your angst. I'm about to order one, but it's already December 26th tomorrow, so waiting till January won't be that big of an issue. By the way, did you go with the new Fusion drive? I think I'm going to. At first I decided I wasn't because people were saying that there was a possibility of files being corrupted because they are being moved around and re-written so much, but I'm not so sure now. I'm thinking I'll try the 1TB Fusion drive, not too worried now because I back up all my important stuff to external HDD. Plus from the videos I've seen, boot time and app load time with the Fusion Drive models is wicked quick.

  • Does anyone know when IOS 6.0.1 will come out?

When will IOS 6.0.1 come out anybody here knows? I want my wifi fixed because my other iphone 4 is useless without wifi and my iphone 4s I don't want to use my AT&T data. I got limited data only 300 MB.

It has nothing to do with my router because the 2 android devices don't lose signal and my wireless ps3 doesn't and my wireless desktop doesn't either. I have 3 computers(2 wireless 1 wired) 2 ps3s(wireless and wired) 2 android phones 2 iphones connected to my router and none of them lose connection or anything. Its just my 2 iphones that is losing the wifi connection, not signal but the wifi connection goes away on both iphones. Yeah of course I always update my stuff when a new update comes so firmware is up to date. The router isn't that old only a year and yes I told them I keep losing wifi on my iphones.

  • Does anyone know when the iphone 6 plus will be available in Australia

Carriers and apple seem to be out of stock any rumors out there when it will be available

I put two of them on a slow boat to China that should sail close to you.
Seriously, we don't know. We are users like you. All I can tell you is that you will hear it from Apple before you will hear it from us.

  • Does anyone know when the new update comes out?

does anyone know when the 4.1 update will come out?

So, any developers out there who have used that beta update yet? That's what I'll be interested to hear, when the developers start talking!
Personally, I have no trouble with my phone. I live in a cruddy reception area of AT&T anyway and constantly dropped calls in certain areas on my 3GS. With the 4, there is one spot in a dip on the road that I travel on every day where there is no AT&T service. It doesn't matter which phone you use, you're not getting any service; however, there have been times that I have been talking and reached that spot where my 3GS dropped every time and the 4 doesn't drop. That tells me that there's been some sort of improvement with this new design. I can't wait to see what happened with the bars displayed issue, too, as mine can go all over the place even sitting in one spot in my house.

  • Hi  Does anyone know when NVivo 10 will be as fully functional as the PC version? Thank you

    HI everyone
I need to download NVivo 10 for my studies. The MAC version  at present does not have all the funstionalities that the PC version has. Does anyone know when the MAC version will be fully functional to match PC version? I am probably in the wrong section for this question  so if you know where it would sit best let me know?
    Thank you

    Hi Dekang,
I'm apart of QSR's Marketing department. We're continuing to work on NVivo for Mac and we'll have more features available via free software updates in the coming months. We encourage you to trial NVivo for Mac to verify the features in the software meet your needs: http://www.qsrinternational.com/products_free-trial-software.aspx or you can compare the features of NVivo 10 for Windows and NVivo for Mac here: http://www.qsrinternational.com/product-comparison/nvivo10-nvivo-for-mac.html
    I hope this helps,

  • Does anyone know when Aperture will be able to provide RAW support for the Nikon 1 J3 ?

I have just bought Aperture to support my new camera, a Nikon 1 J3.  I then discovered that this is not one of the Nikon camereas yet supported by Aperture for RAW format pictures.
Does anyone know when this may be addressed in a later version of Aperture?
    Kind regards
    Simon

    Léonie
Thanks very much for your help.  I see from the discussion threads on this that I am not alone!
I will be visiting my local Apple Store today to see if they know when my camera will be fully supported.
I got it through Cutio in Germany and the instructions were in German which I learnt at school - which is great for travel and holidays but not for reading technical manuals!
    Kind regards

  • Does anyone know when the Mac Pro switched from ATA to SATA DVD Drives

Does anyone know when the Mac Pro switched from ATA to SATA DVD Drives ?
I tried to find this answer online but failed.

Appears the Mac Pro (Early 2008) is the last model to suggest Ultra ATA/100 optical.
And with an optional card, use Serial Attached SCSI via Mac Pro Raid.
This kind of information gets sketchy in that the hard drive bus and other parts are SATA
and only this (and earlier) model Mac Pro has optical drive interface w/ Ultra ATA/100. The
logic board on the early 2008 appears to have two Serial ATA ports, 3.0GBPS; so to check
these, you may need to look into specification in iFixit.com repair guides, any takeapart
guides, and note specifications in everymac.com and those from mactracker.ca.
The MacPro after Early 2008 model build series (Early 2009) appears to sport an optical
drive with 18x speed, compared to Early 2008 & before, whose drives indicate 16x spec.
Other changes may be indicated by certain parts and differences; processors, graphic
support, and those kinds of things. 2008 shows dual-core, afterward, quad-core.
So on what little I found, that would appear to be the divide or when optical drive spec
on the logic board changed from Ultra ATA/100 to SATA versions. But double check.
    Good luck & happy computing!

  • Does anyone know when Verizon will offer 5.0 for the 8330?

I'd really like to get away from 4.5.  I have 4.7 on my company BB (T-Mobile 8900) and like it much better, but from reading about 5.0 I think I will like it even better yet.  Unfortunately 4.5 is the only OS listed on Verizon's page for the 8330.  Does anyone know when they will release 5.0?  From everything I've read they are going to, but I'd like to know if I should expect a 6 week wait or a 2 year wait...
Thanks, and sorry if this has been covered before, I was unable to find it if so.

    Solved!

Coolness. BTW -- there will be little (if any) publication about when RIM goes "official" for what you are seeking. Rather, what you will see is that some carrier releases the version you seek...VZW will do what they do in their own sweet time.
BTW -- you can find the 83xx forum on this site here:
    http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-Curve-BlackBerry-8300/bd-p/8300
At the top, one of the stickies is a thread that Xandrex keeps updated with current versions of device OS's from each carrier (that he has information on, of course). I haven't waded through that thread (it's pretty long), but he might have a table for your model, which would guide you to where various carriers stand with release levels.
If you find that a carrier has sanctioned a device OS you want, you can usually get it from them via their DL site via this portal:
    http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp
Then you can use these instructions to use it (don't mind that the instructions are for the Storm -- the process is the same I think):

  • Does anyone know when is going to be a new ios 5.0.1 update?

I read somewhere that there was going to be a new software update available by january 6th but I've been looking for it and guess what? nothing. Does anyone know when is going to be a new ios 5.0.1 update?

Apple does not give the dates for software updates. They keep this a very good secret, so wherever you read it, is probably wrong or talking about an older version. If Apple did say, it would affect their sales.

  • Does anyone know when OAS 11g is going to be available?

Does anyone know when Oracle is going to release OAS 11g software? Any estimates? Last I heard Summer 2009. But not sure about the dates.
    Thanks in advance!
Edited by: gnanduri on May 20, 2009 7:56 AM

Oracle Application Server in 10g has components like OHS, Web Cache, OC4J (the J2EE container), Portal, Discoverer, along with suites like SOA Suite and Web Center Suite etc. To make it simple, think of Oracle Fusion Middleware as the new name for Oracle Application Server.
Just like OAS 10g, FMW 11g will have latest versions (11g) of components like OHS, Web Cache, WebLogic Server (the J2EE container), Portal, Discoverer, along with suites like SOA Suite, Web Center Suite etc. None of these components/product are going away. These all are going to be there.
So if you are currently using Oracle Portal 10g (which is part of Oracle Application Server 10g), you will have the 11g version of the same product as part of FMW 11g and there will be tools/utilities/docs to help you upgrade from 10g Portal to 11g Portal.
As I mentioned earlier, the key thing to note is that the J2EE container that used to be OC4J in Oracle Application Server 10g, will now be replaced with WebLogic Server in Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g. That means components that used to run on OC4J (e.g. Forms or Reports) will now run on WebLogic Server in FMW 11g. And again, you will have tools and docs to help you upgrade from 10g to 11g.
Do not get confused with WebLogic Server and WebLogic Suite. WebLogic Server is the application server (the J2EE container) whereas other WebLogic products like WebLogic Portal are part of WebLogic Suite.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks
